"we absolutely loved our stay at the shangri la. we weren't supposed to stay there but had to find a hotel in manila last minute after our connecting flight to siargao was cancelled. the area is very safe with lots of shopping around. there is a kids adventure land (have to pay extra though) and the restaurant at the pool is fab. i attended a very special yoga class at the gym. i really couldn't have asked for more."

"They need a lot of improvement when it comes to cleanliness. The bathroom in our room has a broken broken rack which made it hard to put our toiletries and we also found cockroaches in our room!"

"actually, this is better than averaged. except for 2 things, one is too many tiny small cockroaches in the room, i at least killed 6 in 3 nights. another is they dont have washing machines. the rest is ok, even better than average. i definitely will come back, but hope the warns to be killed before that."

"This room is very big! Very nice! And the view is very good! You can see the whole night view of Venice Mall! The view is like the Venetian Macau! It is very convenient to go to BGC! High security! There is a swimming pool and gym downstairs"

"The waiters were very nice and nice. Helped to call a car, wash and iron, and allowed me to continue to take a nap at noon on the day I left the shop. I didn't check out until 2pm. The duplex structure and decoration are quite unique, but the geographical location is not the best. Overall, it is completely inconsistent with the price of 731 yuan per night. That day, because the company's hotel was full, I temporarily found such a place and thought it was more than 600 yuan. As a result, taxes and fees were included, which exceeded the reimbursement standard."

"The hotel can add an extra bed. It is very convenient to travel and parking is very convenient. The hotel has food to go downstairs."

"When I walk into the room, I immediately check if the room is well cleaned and maintain. However its too dusty on the floor there is no slippers to wear on, when u check the bathroom u’ll see the bathtub and check there is something dirty and greasy running down on one of its pump something. Then the edges of the tiles around the shower area u’ll see its not well maintained and the tissue was used. The overall appearance or the room is perfect the couches and even the air condition really makes the room feel cold. One of may favorite part is the Make up side where there is a vanity mirror, tv has good reception. Staffs are friendly and they do allow visitors but of course limits when they can only stay. Its an overall good experience but due to the poor cleanliness at the area I have to give an honest review. Also price is too cheap for 1 night stay for two which is really affordable and of course worth it."

"The location is really good. It is in a commercial place and near to everything like convenient stores, fast food restaurants and small eateries . The room is really clean and the fragrant of the room is really relaxing. The shower room and the toilet are separate. The staff are really accommodating and are always smiling. The drinking water is refillable."

"PROS: Nice location, great set of amenities, responsive host. Room is clean and well stocked (shampoo, body wash, etc). Nice view. AC is fucntioning well. Electronic door lock. CONS: [1] No washing machine (not recommended for longer stays). Laundromat downstairs is slow as hell (will take 3 days just for a kilo of laundry. [2] living room Tv is not working, no TV on the bedrooms. [3] not the fault of the owner but the condo building itself is in bad condition, dark hallways, slow elevators and moldy damp parking floors (smells foul). [4] No electric socket for induction cooker and other appliances. SUGGESTIONS: [1] please add washing machine as an amenity for longer term stays. [2] provide extension cord/outlet in the kitchen area for guest to use the provided appliances. [3] replace the bright roll-up curtains to blackout curtains to block sunlight, particularly helpful for late day sleepers."
