I stayed at this hotel because it had the amenities I was looking for compared to the price and the surrounding hotels. I also had a full day too or the next day with a meeting spot not too far away (Check out full-day tour Shilin, Jiufen, Geopark). The room is beautiful and clean and the area quite nice because there’s some local businesses nearby who are quite friendly to foreigners. Cool bar next door. My only disappointment was the fact that they have a bar listed and it’s not really quite a bar in the lobby which was chilly anyway. The room is very comfortable and the view is nice. I did not go swimming in the pool, but it was definitely a comfortable spot. The other thing I want to mention is the late check-in time. If you want to check in earlier, you have to pay a certain amount of money extra in TWD. I noticed that some hotels do the late check-in process, but I don’t feel this hotel should necessarily do that. They were able to check me in early with the extra fee after a delayed rain flight. Happy with it mostly.MRT across street is bonus. Uber easy to grab.

The hotel is located directly opposite a metro station and this is extremely comfortable. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and for a business or weekend trip you don’t need more. I tried the gym, small but it has enough for normal workout. I guess in summer the pool is working. Breakfast is a bit small, but you get actually enough, because you can choose from a breakfast menu in addition to the small buffet.

The location was so good and convenient for transportation and shopping, the customer service was so great

+ The hotel is in a nice location next to the night market and is next to the subway + Quite clean - No doors in the bathroom - Might have to shower in cold water and the room can be quite cold during the end of the year

Hotel is located near shilin night market which was nice as we headed there to source for dinner one night. The hotel room is overall comfy but hotel felt a little small.

What a great hotel really. I judge the room quality as five star. The facilities are lacking a bit but overall it's a great place to stay. I had a problem with a hot water in my room and they refunded me a night and also paid for my taxis for the day for my business meetings and to the airport to the tune of about $100. this was all arranged by the manager. When you speak with the upper management there they are very accommodating and professional. Some of the staff I dealt with upon check-in were lacking a bit. Generally speaking it's a good location because the subway station is right there however, there really isn't much right around the hotel, other than the night market for food. plenty of shops, but you have to walk a little way to get anything but a subway sandwich. Take the MRT one stop to Shilin station and there's plenty of decent restaurants there. Something the check-in staff could've told me. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended. Good value for money.

New hotel and modern. Loved the coffee machine and all snacks and drinks were part of the room booking. Hotel was just 2 mins away from MRT Jiantan exit 2 and walking distance to Shilin Night Market. Mountain view. The jacuzzi bathtub provided a good soak after a day of walking/shopping/feasting. The housekeeper forgot to place a new set of towels on day 2 which was an unpleasant experience.

Very accessible with less than 5 minutes walk to reach. Great service provided. Was very helpful when assisting to receive package. Satisfied with the overall cleanliness of room, but still can improvement further.

Very close to the Jiantan MRT station and shilin night market,the room very comfortable and clean,very warm like 5⭐ hotel,got msg chair,jacucci,clothing washing machine and drying,very worth it

A good grade small 4* hotel as it is new but I was assigned with much smaller room. The most 25m² instead of 40m². Try to avoid rooms x001 if u r booking 40m² room too.

Clean and spacious hotel. Walking distance to Shilin night market and the train station is just opposite the hotel.

The location is superb, but there was no bellboy at the entrance of hotel.

Pros: Amenities, facilities and cleanliness of the room was excellent. Bfast staff were nice and efficient. Small Cons : 1. Room was a little small but nevertheless ok for the price point. 2. Breakfast spread was super limited. Basically it's just an ala carte select one main and potion is super small. feels like those cafe style tiny portion ( I took this meatballs with mozzarella cheese sauce, there was literally 5 meatballs inside and one bread), but at least there's a bread and cereal/ fruits small bar area. Also has a "porridge" and " soup" free refill, but porridge is just plain porridge with only 2 condiments. don't expect any light soya sauce etc. 3. Swimming pool look like dog paddle pool. way too small. BIGGEST CON FOR EVERYONE TO NOTE: Receptionists are damn lazy as ****. I came with my elderly parents and sister's fam with 2 young children aged 3 and 5. When we arrived at 10 pm late night even though there's no other travellers checking in, I saw there's 4 to 5 receptionists who just looked at us as we struggled with all our luggage and juggling the strollers. Mind u that the doors were super huge and heavy. When they saw me struggle with trying to open the door and pushing the stroller in at the same time, no one bothered to help. they were all just chitchatting and doing nothing. Funny enough, saw a Caucasian couple coming out and they were so fast to help them open the door. Next. During checkin, they were even slower than my 80 year old grandma to prepare the documents for checkin. When it came to explaining where's the lift to go up, where's the amneties etc, NONE. DONT EXPECT THEM TO EVEN TELL U WHERE'S THE CORRECT LIFT TO GO UP. No explaination of where breakfast is at as well. Management should retrain the recept staff, this is seriously very unacceptable. The incapability of the staff makes me never want to return again.
