The Bakery Restaurant with Rooms

Overnight stay as visiting the area for my wife’s birthday. Very comfortable room with all amenities coffee and tea making, TV, Wi-Fi,. Dinner in the restaurant was really good and breakfast freshly cooked also great. Staff very helpful. Plenty of free parking. Could not fault it and would definitely stay again

Fantastic privately owned hotel located in an idyllic village in the Surrey countryside, but conveniently close to the M25 for access. The hotel sits on the village green and has a super terrace to the road frontage. Internally there's a small but very well stocked bar and a good sized restaurant. The bedrooms (9) are very well appointed and mine (9) had a huge bed and private terrace. We were a party of 11 visiting for a wedding at the nearby Botley Barn. As such we ate, drank and slept and it's as good a place to stay as any and better than most. Great staff and an excellent all round vibe. Have no hesitation in staying here....

I stayed here with my husband and my parents after a family wedding and it was the perfect choice of hotel. They helpfully helped us to book taxis and let us check in to our rooms early. We loved the ‘honesty fridge’ after we came back from the wedding and the men fancied a nightcap (whilst mum and I had a complimentary bottle of water). We all slept room in very comfortable beds. The shower was great too. What made this place exceptional was the breakfast- there was no menu and you could basically order whatever you wanted! The service was great and the quality of the food was top notch. On top of this, my mum left her shoes behind and they very kindly offered to post them back to her free of charge. That was definitely above and beyond! We would definitely stay here again and would like to explore the beautiful location even further!

We spent two nights in The Bakery when attending a wedding nearby. What a fantastic find. Everywhere was absolutely spotless. Stylish rooms, excellent showers. Breakfast cooked beautifully. We had dinner there on one night which was delicious and great value. The chef John has a delicate touch with food. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We intend to stay there again when we visit the UK later this year. I can recommend highly The Bakery as an excellent place to stay

The room we stayed in was huge and had a lot of space. The bed was very comfortable and had a lot of space around to move around in. There was a coat rack as you walked in the room and a place for shoes. The bathroom was huge, shower was a very good size pretty much big enough for 2! The hosts were friendly and welcoming during check in and out. There was complimentary water in the fridges dotted around premises for guests

We were at a wedding nearby and booked The Bakery. Room was really nice, parking on side and back. Breakfast was really nice, staff or owners really friendly Highly recommend the place independently owned Well done keep up the great service you providing

What a fabulous place to stay! The host was amazing. The rooms were gorgeous with comfortable beds, tea/coffee facilities. There's a carpark. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast and we returned in the evening to eat our evening meal. Not an extensive choice, but the 4 of us enjoyed every meal we had. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Being only about 15 minutes from the North Downs way, The Bakery was an ideal overnight stop for weary walkers. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent dinner at the on-site restaurant. Our delicious cooked breakfast set us up well for another day on the trail. Would recommend.

Super restaurant with wholesome food. Really lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Great freshly cooked breakfasts and exceptionally kind and helpful owner/ manager.
