Our stay was absolutely perfect! Staying in Heshun Ancient Town was not only amazing because of its slow pace, low commercialization, genuine local customs, and rich cultural heritage, but our two days at 'Yunli Shiguang' (Time in the Clouds) were also incredibly unique. The guesthouse has its own private parking lot on the hillside of the ancient town. The lovely hosts, a young man and woman, contacted us in advance to provide check-in information and personally picked us up in their shuttle car. They proactively helped with our luggage and warmly introduced all the room's features and amenities. The owner is also a very knowledgeable and fascinating individual, who gave us a detailed introduction to how to explore the ancient town and its culinary delights, which proved to be very comprehensive during our visit. The room was spacious, and we enjoyed a comfortable hot spring bath in the evening, with fantastic views. From the room's window on the hillside, you can overlook the entire ancient town, and there's also a viewing platform on the guesthouse's rooftop – a perfect spot for watching the sunset! The breakfast was meticulously prepared, with different steamed dishes each day, carefully chosen combinations of rice noodles, side dishes, and eggs. They also offered freshly ground coffee, which was rich and flavorful. Different staff members prepared the coffee over the few days, and their latte art skills were impressive. Although our time here was short, it left us with many wonderful memories. We can't wait for our next stay!

Choosing Yunli Shiguang Wuyou Guesthouse was the luckiest decision of my trip to Tengchong! It felt like a hidden gem tucked away in the bustling ancient town, perfectly embodying 'tranquility in the midst of activity.' Right outside, there's a century-old street with a supermarket and various eateries. In just a ten-minute walk, you can reach attractions like Heshun Library and Cun Ancestral Temple. When you're tired from exploring, you can easily retreat to its peaceful sanctuary. For those driving, there's no need to worry; the guesthouse provides clear parking instructions, and a staff member even helped carry my luggage to the room – no effort required on my part. The check-in experience was full of pleasant surprises! The room features a simple yet elegant natural wood design with large floor-to-ceiling windows that let the sunlight stream in. The imported soft bedding, brand-name bathroom fixtures, smart toilet, and Dyson hairdryer all speak to the attention to quality details. My absolute favorite was the private hot spring pool in the room. Soaking in the warm water instantly melted away my travel fatigue, and the guesthouse thoughtfully provided bath bags for hygiene and peace of mind. The service was absolutely impeccable! Right after booking, I received detailed travel tips, and the complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service was punctual and thoughtful. The owner and staff were incredibly warm, treating me like family. They patiently recommended lesser-known attractions, helped book discounted tickets and car services, and even shared insights into local customs. Yunli Shiguang Wuyou Guesthouse isn't just a place to stay; it's the warmest memory of my Tengchong journey. The next time I visit Heshun, I'll definitely return to this 'home away from home'!

The B&B's location is fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to the action. It's just a short walk to the commercial street, and there's even a morning market nearby. The front desk lady is beautiful and incredibly helpful; she answered all my questions. Plus, the coffee she made was even better than what you'd get at a cafe, and it was all complimentary!

Room: We booked a quad suite, and the living room was spacious and bright. The bedrooms were clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a very quiet and comfortable night's rest. The Marshall speaker was a particular highlight, with sound quality that exceeded expectations. Service: The inn staff were always smiling, warm, and attentive. They provided shuttle services multiple times, an experience that surpassed even many five-star hotels – truly thoughtful. Breakfast: Healthy and delicious, especially the steaming bowl of fresh soup noodles (er'si), which was both comforting and satisfying, filling us with energy for the day ahead. The inn owner also proactively invited us to share tea and chat. We followed his recommendations for food in the ancient town, and indeed, every dish was authentic and absolutely worth trying. I highly recommend choosing Yunli Time Wuyou Inn when visiting Heshun Ancient Town!

The room was clean and comfortable, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. They also provided coffee and chrysanthemum tea. After a long day of walking, the hotel offered a convenient shuttle service. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I enjoyed a hot Americano every day. No matter where we were, if we called when we were tired, a staff member would always come to pick us up. The owner was very chatty and recommended some excellent food spots, and the photos turned out great too!

Enjoyable stay with a tub. Electricity stopped working in our room, and they upgraded our room for free along with moving our luggage to the new room.

Wow! What an amazing boutique hotel with incredible views. The location is perfect in the centre of the old town. The bath tub on the balcony was exceptional and you can enjoy a hot spring soak in the evening after a long day out exploring the local area. The hotel has a driver, who you can rent for the day. She had excellent local knowledge and it was an absolute pleasure to experience local life thanks to her. She was professional and courteous in every way. I will be back for sure. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

The guesthouse has a great location with a beautiful view. It's close to the century-old vegetable street and attractions, and there are many restaurants nearby. The service is excellent, with free pick-up and drop-off, unlimited coffee, fruit at the bar, a rich and delicious breakfast with refills, and umbrellas available for guests. None of the recommended restaurants were bad. Youfen Restaurant was the best, and we ate there 4 times. Niu Niu's restaurant was also good, and we ate there once.

Located in the heart of Heshun Ancient Town, next to the morning market, the guesthouse offers unparalleled convenience. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The owner was talkative and welcoming, sharing numerous local stories; the guesthouse staff proactively guided us through the ancient town, patiently explaining its history, which greatly enhanced our experience. The rooms offered excellent views, were clean and comfortable, and offered exceptional value for money. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The guesthouse rooms were fully equipped and clean to our satisfaction. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views and stunning scenery. The location was also very convenient. The owner had great taste, was warm and fun, and even helped us take amazing group photos. The staff were also very attentive, helping to solve any problems we encountered during our trip, which saved us a lot of trouble. The breakfast was nutritious and delicious, and there was always free coffee available. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely come back again.

The hotel has a great location 😌. If you drive, the hotel has tricycles to help with luggage. There's a famous local market right outside. The hotel is clean, and coffee is always free. You'll feel right at home!

The room's terrace offered a fantastic view, overlooking the entire ancient town, eliminating the need for a special trip up for photos. Breakfast and coffee were satisfactory, and most of our needs were met. The owner was very attentive in recommending attractions and restaurants, especially the food – every dish was excellent, even our picky family was very satisfied. Overall, the accommodation and dining service were excellent, and the staff attentively addressed all our needs. Highly recommended.

I've stayed in hundreds of guesthouses and hotels due to work and business trips, but this one, while not necessarily the best in terms of facilities or value for money, offered a truly homey feeling. On the way from Dali to Tengchong, my child suddenly developed a high fever and bronchial asthma. The owner told us via WeChat to go directly to the hospital for treatment first and not worry about anything else. After we went to the hospital for observation, we initially wanted to cancel our stay at the guesthouse, which was near the hospital, but since my child, who wasn't sick, wanted to go to the ancient town, and the hospital wasn't far, we decided to stick to our itinerary and stay at the guesthouse. When we arrived at the parking lot, the staff were already waiting and helped us with our luggage and took our child to the guesthouse. Along the way, they kept asking if our child was feeling better. When we arrived, the owner had already prepared 10 bottles of water and arranged everything in the room. My child wanted apples, and in addition to the oranges they provided, they also gave us apples. That evening, they said that if we needed anything, we could let them know and they could take our child to the hospital anytime. Because our child was sick, we went to the hospital for treatment the next day. Since the healthy child had no one to care for her, we asked the owner if they had a reliable driver/guide who could not only play with the child but also help her explore. The next morning, breakfast was incredibly delicious – sweet potatoes, porridge, eggs, and rice noodles – just like the organic, pesticide-free food we had as children. That evening, exhausted and stressed from the day, we soaked in a hot spring at the hotel. It was incredibly quiet; the only sounds were the natural crowing of roosters. The next day, the driver/guide arranged by the owner arrived, but we were still worried and kept reassuring them about the child's safety and diet. Surprisingly, they were excellent. Our child said the driver/guide would accompany her into the scenic area, help her climb the mountain, and explain things to her. The beautiful natural environment was perfect for children. The next day, the driver/guide even took our child to the hospital and met us on our way back to Kunming. That evening, the owner prepared water and the apples we wanted in advance, making arrangements for breakfast the next day. Breakfast was prepared in advance – porridge, corn, rice noodles, and fried dough sticks – still delicious. They even prepared several ears of corn for us to eat on the way. I highly recommend this guesthouse for families with children and the elderly; its location in the center of the old town makes it convenient to go anywhere. Cleanliness, hygiene, and excellent service. My child wanted to stay the next day and couldn't bear to leave. Highly recommended, five-star review! Also, the coffee is exceptionally good, unlimited two cups a day!
