Grand Hotel Tepatitlan

We booked a 2 night getaway in Tepatitlan at this amazing hotel. This is by far the BEST hotel we have stayed at in Mexico in terms of comfort, decor, detail and friendly customer service. We reserved the Maria Antoinette Master Suite and were stunned by the period furniture, rugs, drapes and other French decor. A Jacuzzi bath with a view (huge photo) looking out towards the Palace of Versailles is a focal point in the room. Definitely the room for a romantic getaway! We parked our car in the private, secure, well lit, spacious underground garage and headed up to the well appointed reception with a large comfortable spiral seating area and a grand bar, which we did not use on this trip. We were graciously met by Tere who showed us to our room and later gave us a little tour. From the reception desk, a leisurely walk up the open curving marble grand staircase leads to the breakfast (included) and dining area on the 3rd floor. An elevator is available to those not wanting to take in the grandeur of the landings on each floor all decorated with fresh flowers and French related art. A full breakfast is offered: coffee, fresh fruit juice, mixed fruit bowl, warm muffins followed by a choice of very generous helpings of traditional Mexican dishes. Indoor or outdoor dining on the terrace is available with views looking out towards the Centro. Attention to detail is evident to every aspect of this Boutique Hotel in the heart of Tepatitlan. We intend to explore the Alhambra Master Suite on our next visit...

My husband and I came to Tepatilan for a Quinceanera. Frankly we’re not really hotel people preferring a laidback Airbnb, but this establishment was recommended, and I’m so glad it was! I cannot say enough about the staff to being with. They are more like family, and treat you like family. Their smiles are genuine and they are always welcoming and helpful with absolutely anything you might need. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. Many lovely pieces of art and furniture are in spaces for you to enjoy. The food at breakfast is cooked fresh daily and is delicious with French press coffee. You can enjoy breakfast inside or outside on the lovely terrace. There is a handsome full bar in the lobby where you can get a drink or an espresso, and they have a dedicated smoking room for those who do with lovely chairs and art and travel books. Our room was immaculate and stocked with fruit, cookies, and sparkling water. It had a Nespresso coffee machine as well. We had robes, slippers and shower slippers and of course extra towels. Every day there was a special treat left at our bedside. They arranged a car for us back to the airport which we had to get very early in the morning so that was much appreciated. We so enjoyed our stay and meeting each and every person here. I know we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The name of the hotel says it all: Grand in every respect. The architecture, quality of finishes, delicious food (with a full bar) and the warm and attentive staff. The hotel's location is perfect too. Just one block off the city's main square lends it self to convenience while maintaining a peaceful and relaxing a**osphere in and around the hotel. Book this property. It will be a special place long remembered.

Great location in a classic building. Pleasant people. ******* showed photos of rooms of 613 sq ft but they put us in a room of 213 sq ft and refused to switch us unless we paid more. We didn’t. Room was minimalist and very noisy as sounds echoed in the halls and atriums. No windows to the outside. We could hear the restaurant staff two floors above us.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. You have to get a themed room! The included breakfast is amazing and the staff…..unbelievable. We will always stay here from now on.

The property and rooms were immaculate. The level of service was the best I have ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond to take care of our every need.

The hotel is beautiful in every sense. What is most remarkable and outstanding is the staff. They are the most helpful, friendly and resourceful people that a hotel can have. If you’re considering staying at Grand Hotel Boutique, consider no more! Stay and you won’t regret it! The hotel itself is beautiful, the food delicious, and the whole staff there was wonderful! From the hotel manager Tere, to the front desk help Raziel, Clara, Fanny, the cafe wait staff Alejandra and Martin and also housekeeping Marie and Adriana! I didn’t get the names of the overnight staff. But they were great as well! They were all very professional, welcoming, attentive and extremely helpful with any request I had. I definitely recommend staying there!
