Yes, nice and expensive hotel. Good location near the beach, nice and well maintained gardens and walkways. Overall I am satisfied with the stay. I didn't like the fact that the fridge in the room was completely empty and not stocked with even a basic bottle of drinking water. Similar hotels of this class for 300 euros per night, not only have a fully stocked refrigerator, but also leave a bottle of wine, drinking water and fruit as a compliment to guests every day. This is my opinion about this hotel.

The hotel is fine but the real treasure is thd small restaurant perched on the cliff just below the pools with access to the beach. Dimitris the host has does a fine job pairing wines with the delicious menu, most of which are top local wines not to be underestimated. Main courses averaging 10 euros very fair. Highly recommended for families, couples or singles.

Excellent hotel with great service. Rooms are large and spacious. Kept very clean by daily maid service. Beach is very stony in the water, wear beach shoes as the had sea anemoes as well. There is a pontoon you can swim from. Food in the restaurant is good both for breakfast and dinner. Service for drinks good and table clearing very efficient. Lots of choice at dinner. Breakfast was ok. Be aware that is takes about 2 hours to get to the resort and passport queue is long! Ferry journey is part of the holiday and is only 30 minutes. Thasos is very green and pretty. Do visit theologus to see the waterfalls. We had a car for the day and visited Alikes and Golden Beach. Standard of driving is varied with lots of Romanian, German and Serbian cars around. Mostly large 4x4s! Potos itself is a nice village with a few tavernas on the beach front. We had dinner out one night which was great on the beach. Will come back in a few years

Been to this resort twice and loved it both times, hotel is nicely spread out amongst beautiful gardens , rooms are spacious, well appointed and most have gardens and views. Walking distance from the lovely town of Potos where there are some great restaurants and bars with wonderfully friendly owners .

This hotel definitely meet all our expectations, we upgraded our room to a sea view room which was well worth it , amazing sunset every night , the rooms were fine for us 2 , would be nice to have an iron & ironing board in the room , the bed was so comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with fruit trees & herbs growing all over . The beach is a pebble beach so definitely need water shoes , there are buzzers on the loungers to get food & drinks if you don’t want to move , the Bali beds are very good value at only €30 for the bed , Prosecco & fruit platter . We never had an issue with getting a lounger round the pool & it was lovely & chilled , only issue was the loungers were very uncomfortable, could do with pads on them or even replacing them , the sandwiches from the snack bar were delicious. Food in the buffet was lovely, not loads of choice but everything well cooked & tasty, lots of salads & an outdoor bbq , would be nice to have nicer bread , the staff were always so lovely, very friendly & helpful, €18 for a bottle of wine . The tavern in the hotel is gorgeous food with amazing views . Cocktails in the main bar were fantastic but sometimes the service was a little slow & one day we went to order at the bar so we wouldn’t be waiting only to be told we had to sit at a table & wait for service. The town is only 5-10 min walk away with some lovely shops, bars & restaurants , cocktail prices were the same as hotel but you could get a carafe of wine for €6 with crisps & fruit so bargain . We hired a car from reception & drove all the way round the island, very easy to get round with some lovely places to visit. The ferry transfer was 45 mins & transfer to hotel 45-60 mins . overall I would definitely recommend this hotel , can’t wait to return.

My wife and myself just returned home from this pleasant Hotel complex. As soon as we arrived we felt so relaxed, We was taken to our room via a golf buggy, first impression was wow!, the decor was lovely and the room very spacious. A walk in shower was a bonus. Breakfast and evening meals were very tasty with an excellent choice, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool area was a tad small but the beach was just a short stroll away. You could either pay for your purchases at the beach bar or put on your room tab. The beach is pebble so correct footwear is a must. A short walk into Potos greeted you with many shops and eating houses. Most the bars were on the beach. we visited Ioni bar, the staff there were generous and prices were reasonable. We was the last of the TUI holiday makers at this Hotel for the season, the Rep Nikki was very helpful. We would return but, considering there are more beautiful Greek Islands to visit, it might be a while.

I cannot give this hotel enough positives, it was absolutely fabulous. The staff are second to none. Everyone from the restaurant team to bar staff to housekeeping couldn't do enough, but special mention must go to Sophia who helps in any way she can should a query or problem arise. Thank you. The hotel is part of a sister hotel - the Alexandra Beach, which you can use the facilities of, but believe me, there is no reason why you would want to. We were on AI basis, which is more than adequate. There is only one restaurant at AE, but they offer 2 A la carte choices each night - one meat, one fish, which were lovely. If they're not to your liking there is a buffet choice but much more civilised than other buffet restaurants - no children running around or people pushing or not looking where they're going! It is on a smaller scale but the choices are fine. The desserts in particular were delicious. My only teeny, tiny grumble is that the food could have been hotter. Drinks wise, not everything is included but there are plenty on the included list and all spirits are branded - no local Greek substitutes. If you choose to pay a little extra for those not included the prices are reasonable for a hotel - €10.50 for the most expensive cocktails. We booked a private pool, which is well worth the extra. All pools seem to be in sunlight from morning till dusk and are cleaned daily. If you decide not to plunge for a private pool, the main pool is beautifully laid out with sunbeds on terracing, seating areas, pool bar with waitress service if needed. We were in room 7009, which was perfect, as all the rooms seem to be. Cleaned daily, fresh towels twice a day and the mini bar, which comes as part of the AI package, includes miniature spirits and soft drinks and is refreshed every 3 days. Quite a nice surprise as a lot of AI packages don't include the mini bar and if they do, it is only for soft drinks and water. The bathroom toiletries are Molton Brown - shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, you name it, all Molton Brown. Even the shower cap!! The hotel is situated just outside Potos which is well within walking distance - takes about 10-15 minutes. Okay to visit for a change of scenery but nothing special. We went there to watch football in one of the bars a couple of times. A nicer place to walk to is the village on the other side - Limenaria, which happens to be Sophia's home town. This is about a 50 minute walk on a path which runs parallel to the main road, so much safer. Limenaria is much more picturesque with a better choice of restaurants and bars. We went on one trip - a boat sailing around the island and the usual - swim stops, beach stops, lunch. We booked this in Potos at the quay side. Really cheap - €30 pp and it was fine. Again, something to do for a change but nothing to write home about. We booked through TUI. Flights were on time, transfer good. As the plane flies to Kavala on the mainland there is a short coach journey (15 minutes) to t

My mother and I loved the room and WE thought that we were very lucky that we got such a good room with such a good view.(nr. 2104). The people from the reception always helped us uncomplicated, easy and quickly. Warm greetings to Eleftheria with whom I shared an emotional story that occured onThassos and that will always connect me with Greece. Also warm greetings to the sweet Giorgia who works in in the Restaurant Elia and made us feel like home with her hospitality. She told me that I pronounce greek words in a good way and that really motivated me to learn even more greek. I love this language! And your food! We say thank you to all you guys for everything!!
