"The hotel is located in a small town about 20 minutes' drive from Selfoss. You can check in by yourself after getting the key at the front desk. Unlike most areas in Iceland, the room is quite large and the hygiene is always clean. The town is right by the sea, very quiet, very typical Nordic style, plus such a low price, it is worth it."

"Pretty nice and extremely kind reception people. I love them. As usual like other hotels in Iceland, you should take a ride to get here. The hotel room was big enough and there were 3 beds in the room although I'm staying by myself. I love the way how the room is formed. I had two doors, one led me to the yard side and the other one faced the other rooms as well as the reception. IDK this is the general rule but the shower pressure was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to take a shower. Speaking of the Hot tub, it was pretty small and adorable. But if you have plans to visit either Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon, You'd better skip this Hot tub."

"A clean, no frills place. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and the dogs were friendly. Very close to Selfoss which has some great places to eat. Perfect as a place to stop and rest for the night."

If you are tired of the traditional package of the hotel, you can drive or walk to the restaurant in the town. The next morning, I saw tourists riding horses on the opposite mountain to explore the volcanic spring!"
