Campanile Marne la Vallee - Torcy

Possibly the worst hotel experience possible. The first night we checked in the staff were rude and disinterested, even lazy to the point where they couldn't check our names properly and told us we were not booked in here. The signs posted around do not make you feel safe here. Of course you have to look after your belongings but you would hope your room would be safe! The metal shutters on the windows are also slightly intimidating. The last night we had a power outage and the staff seemed less than interested in giving us any updates as to what was going on. We asked if they had a rough estimate and just shrugged their shoulders and that was it. It may be worth popping over to the supermarket just up the road as tea and coffee ”is only for day one”!! The maids did not care if you had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door and we would see 3-4 maids per morning! If you are not a French National be prepared to pay the 'tourist tax' €1.70 per night per person. The only positive note we have is that the female reception staff were kind and friendly.

We stayed for 5 days for Disney purposes. It was convenient location because we could go to the Louvre without transfer. I went out in a fairly cautious state because I only checked out the information of the sli, but the surrounding area of the hotel was also a woman walking alone and it was an atmosphere without problem. It is just from the exit of Tolstoy 2 and it is just to the hotel. The front desk staff is very helpful. I couldn't check in early, so I changed my clothes in the hotel toilet on the arrival day and went out to Paris city. I took it because I saw the word of mouth that the hair dryer was a paid loan, but there was a hair dryer in the room. There are many places in the room to insert the outlet. In Japan, it was like a Dommy Inn. Large suitcases can be opened in full if they are near the entrance. Breakfast is the same every day, and various kinds of bread, ham, boiled *, cheese, yogurt, cereal, etc., fruits were not cut, so I didn't know if it was decorated or not. There is no vegetables. Some other people were eating alone, so I was not awkward even for a woman traveling alone. There are tourists from Asia, so it doesn't come up strange. It is a hotel that I would like to recommend to Disney Paris for the 30th anniversary from Japan because it is close to the airport.
