Comfort Inn Traralgon
3.8/528 Reviews
I visited The Comfort on a stay for business, at first glance the room looked fine, unfortunately the house keeping soon let it down, the microwave was covered with greasy finger prints, the cook top was covered in dust, the toilet looked terrible and needed a good scrub and a haircut might have been good too, the bed was quite hard but you can’t please everyone I guess, the shower was so low on pressure that it was the worst I have experienced maybe blocked filters? Noise from adjoining rooms and car park was quite annoying, lots of tradies leaving early for work. The stay was cheap but we were quite disappointed with the general quality
Motel Traralgon
3.8/554 Reviews
I was so impressed with this little motel! We got a room for a very reasonable rate where, elsewhere, I would expect pretty cheap quality but the room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The rooms are lovely and light filled and come with a great selection of tea/coffee/biscuits. The lady at check in was also very friendly and accommodating. I’ll be staying here if I ever pass through Traralgon again!
The Black Bull Motel
4.3/560 Reviews
This Motel looks aged from the street but looks can be deceiving. We had a twin room with 2 double beds. The whole room had been recently renovated and was lovely and plenty big enough. The managers could not be any more helpful. It is on a service road so not as noisy as the main road. The only fault we could find would be not enough hanging space for the towels. We would most definately stay here again.
Mantra Traralgon
4.4/556 Reviews
The mantra is a fairly new hotel and on the surface looks quite nice. We loved the convince of 2 queen beds in our room which allowed our whole family to share the same room. However, we found the mattress to be very uncomfortable and not particularly good quality. The room was spacious and well appointed with a pod coffee machine and USB wall points. The mini fridge was actually cold and spacious. The bathroom was small but decent with attractive black taps. Shower pressure was good but the bathroom door didn’t close effectively. Unfortunately, the walls were very thin and we heard a lot of noise from the neighbouring room. We could hear their conversations past 10pm. In addition to this there was very loud music from the nightclub across the road which continued until the early hours. This was the biggest issue for us as it was really loud. I am shocked this hasn’t been mentioned in other reviews.
Best Western Governor Gipps Motor Inn
3.9/529 Reviews
The Best western is situated just off the Main Highway, almost drove past it. There is ample parking in front of each room, the checkin was quick and simple, but most of all the quality and cleanliness of the room surprised us. There was a mini fridge with several cartons of milk, as well as a microwave. The room was a reasonable size with a sofa, writing desk and chair The linen was fresh and spotless the bed was also comfortable. The bathroom had a large jacuzzi bath with shower overhead, the usual amenities included. For a 1 night stop over from a long days drive you couldn’t go wrong staying here, 5 minutes walk from the centre of town as well.
Century Inn
4.2/568 Reviews
The service from the receptionist (Kavi) is excellent, expecting a hot tub/ spa in the king studio all the way to Traralgon, however we only knew it doesn’t have any spa or hot tub included although it was stated on their website 🥲 other than that, the room is spacious and comfortable, the food is great as well
