Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

The hotel is in the center of the city, and there are many buses from JR Kanazawa Station to the hotel. The hotel has complete facilities and good hygiene. Service is average, overall pretty good

I stayed in Nikko Kanazawa that I stayed the day before, but I stayed without a choice, but a pod type hotel that is not comparable. The room was very clean and close to Kanazawa Station. I was traveling alone and booked as a single person, but it was a sufficient environment for a room without meals. The people at the front desk were also kind.

Immediately from Omicho Market. FamilyMart is also close. Check-in takes time due to the slopes of national support. If possible, when you leave your luggage before check-in time, you can just finish writing and explaining what you want to check in, and then have them go out, and if you leave the key and luggage when you come back, check-in will be possible. It will be smooth. Also, if you put on the luggage delivery lane and the doorbell, you will not overlap check-in out and luggage storage. The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms are spacious. It is good that the toilet and shower room are separated. The heating effect is good and the bed comfort can sleep well. There are many outlets and it is easy to use. There is an electric control in the room on the bedside, which is good. There is a lot of storage space, and mineral water is free. The downside is that the amount of hot water in the washroom is small and difficult to use. It is good if the hanger rack space is single, but it is narrow and difficult to use if it is double. I want outside shoes to go to the bath. The most painful thing was that there were no chairs at the working desk, so it was difficult to use when writing on a computer at work. Why don't you have a chair even though you have a desk? The refrigerator is weakly cold. The limoncon reaction on the tablet is bad and cannot be used. The large communal bath also has an open-air bath, which warms the whole body comfortably, and there is also a sauna. Some of the locker keys are broken, and when you try to close the key, the keys will be removed. There are about two lockers with the same phenomenon. I had a hard time opening and closing. Breakfast is Western style and many of them go well with bread. Speaking of Kanazawa, some people get tired of Japanese food because it is seafood, so I think Western food is good. I think the content is good. The problem is that the content will not change if it is a consecutive night.

The hotel is not far from the station. When you come out of the station, you will see the elevator to B1 on your left. Go towards the hotel, completely avoiding traffic lights, snow or rain. I used it with my family for sightseeing in Kanazawa. It is close to Kanazawa Station and has a parking lot. The interior is beautiful in a new hotel. The unit bath is also very large. From JR Kanazawa, it takes about 25 minutes to walk. It may take less than 10 minutes to take the bus. Get off and walk for 5 minutes. Close to Emachi Market, the room size is larger than expected, and very clean and tidy. If you need a comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, you can get it from the lobby. The hotel also has a self-service breakfast that you can choose to buy. There are also free umbrellas that you can borrow, but remember to bring them back to the hotel after use. There are English and Japanese services, so communication is not a problem. Next time I come to Kanazawa, I will still choose to stay here.
