Uchisar Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel is in a prime location in Uchisar village. The Uchisar Castle can be reached on foot in a few minutes. It takes a maximum of 5-6 minutes by car to go to Goreme. There is a taxi rank very close by. Hotel parking spaces are available. Since the hotel is built into the rock face, the rooms look accordingly. It is a mix of subsequently built walls and rock faces. Architecturally, this is great. The hotel is a listed building by the Turkish authorities, so it appears that every effort is being made to keep it in its original condition. Upon entering the room, there was an unusual, but not unpleasant, smell in the room, which you no longer noticed after a few minutes. This is probably caused by the rocks. There is no air conditioning in the room itself, which is not necessary. The indoor climate is regulated independently by the rock structure and we found it pleasant. The hotel is relatively small and the staff is always present yet discreet. This creates a very loving, almost family atmosphere. The highlight of the hotel is the terrace area. When we visited, the upper terrace was being redesigned. So we can't say anything about it, except that the construction work was done in a very hospitable way. The lower terrace is a dream. You have a unique panoramic view of the valley. We were lucky and even had a good view of Mount Erciyes. The staff is very friendly and leaves no wish unfulfilled. They even come up with creative ideas of their own to make the stay even more special. Even if this involves not inconsiderable efforts on your part. So we were suggested to set up the table for dinner on the lower terrace. The result was that we were able to enjoy an unforgettable dinner with a wonderful view. We ate breakfast on the restaurant terrace. This is located between the upper and lower terrace and also has a great view. The breakfast itself is sumptuous and leaves nothing to be desired. All in all we can say that the food was of a high quality. The food is prepared by local staff (the ladies of the house :-)) and was very tasty. Even the types of jam and Turkish dumplings served for breakfast are freshly prepared by you. The staff at the reception gave us extremely good advice regarding a sightseeing tour. They booked the desired tours with trustworthy agencies. According to their own statements, the agencies were tested by the staff themselves and selected accordingly. We can only confirm that the Red Tour booked was led by a very competent multilingual guide. We felt very well looked after and informed. As a result we can say that we enjoyed an exclusive stay. We can recommend the hotel without any restrictions.

Went to Cappadocia for winter hoped for a good or at-least average hotel experience The hotel experience was overall very poor -1- The food was terrible like am I supposed to eat cold spaghetti and cold vegetables ? -2- The staff did not know a word of English, I ordered the penne arabiata sauce in my room and I got tomato sauce! Very unprofessional.. -3- The staff was very rude and inhospitable, We found tin foil in our food on day one and when we complained to the staff they simply laughed, and when we were leaving there was a bus behind the car, we asked the staff at the front desk to do something about it because we would be late for our flight and he simply said “Not My Problem” and we got ticked off.. The rooms were overall dilapidated and run down. One more problem out of the many was that they don’t have an elevator ,not suitable for kids and adults , how in the world are elders supposed to climb up 3 flights of stairs, Bad staff, Bad food. Would not recommend anyone to stay here…

I really like the rest of Kistar ❤️, this is a beautiful hotel with the smallest details in mind. Clean, comfortable and warm small boutique hotel. The rooms are great (family has two bedrooms and two bathrooms). The view from the room to the valley is very beautiful! ! ! The host is very welcoming, the breakfast is delicious, everything is fresh, and the plates are beautifully presented. Next. We will definitely stay at Kistar again! The kids really like it, this is the indicator of the highest score!

The hotel is just below the üschar Castle We came here 4 yrs ago to do a balloon flight and stayed in one of the fabulous cave rooms and loved it. We came back and have not been disappointed We have voted our breakfast as the best in Europe it’s true you can’t order or go to a Buffett but what they give you is wonderful home cooked jams fresh bread s and fresh small doughnuts a local delicacy cooked for you as well a traditional cheeses tomatoes etc The service is brilliant and always with a smile This time we are in one of the balcony rooms and not a cave it’s smaller and wooden floors but has charm and wonderful views. It’s hard to leave the outdoor seating area the views are spectacular

The most unforgettable experience in Cappadocia, the rooms are really primitive cave hotels, very distinctive, with heating and air conditioning. The owner Önder is very kind. He recommends different activities for us and makes reservations for us, from ATV to The hot air balloon and the red and green lines all sincerely provided his own opinions. Finally, we listened to his suggestions and it was true. The other line was boring. The hot air balloon needs to get up at 3 in the morning, and the boss thoughtfully prepared a blanket for us to fear that we would get up early the next morning. We need to go to Kayseri Airport at 4 in the morning on the third day. The boss also booked the express bus for us. I showed up at the door on time at 5:58. It was only 100 lire in a three-hour drive. We brought 4 large boxes, which were also transported free of charge. Every night we went back to prepare Turkish black tea for us to chat with us. The breakfast was also very rich. Patiently introduced each ingredient, and also raised a Shar Pei named Potick, friendly and docile, in short, it is a worthwhile experience.

Believe me, it is a hotel far above your expectation. The owner of the hotel, Mustafa, greeted us with a smiling face. He gave us information from the first entrance to the exit minute. Where to go, how to go, where to shop, where to eat. Even after we checked out, we called and he helped us again. The rooms are clean, quiet and peaceful. Due to work, I stay in a lot of hotels, but this place was clean and beautiful for us. We stayed 5 people in 2 rooms. The breakfast buffet also got five stars from us. Our son also had a good time with the puppy in the garden (in his hut outside the hotel).

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Horrid hotel with thieving employees. Several medications were stole when we were on an excursion. The meds could only be accessed by employees who did not return them resulting in a cost of $245 for replacement meds and doctors appointment. When I complained to the manager who repeatedly said “No problem” to which I assured him it was a problem. There was NO SAFE in the room as pictured for meds and passport. The room would be less than a 1 star in the US. Most things in the room were either broken (bath fan, bath shelf, radiator, etc), missing (safe), wrong scale (lighting),etc. The staff would see us waiting in the lobby for assistance and ignore us standing out front the door smoking. Their English suddenly became almost zero when a problem occurred. RUN, DON’T STAY HERE.
