This hotel proved to be a wonderful choice for my short visit to Udaipur. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and in a very nice area, just a short tuk tuk ride to the Old City. My room 504 was quiet and spacious, comfy bed, great large TV screen, lovely ensuite with lovely shower and plenty of hot water. I had a wonderful breakfast each morning on the 10th Floor Restaurant FIRKI which has spectacular views of the city. Food is plentiful and fresh, with great selection and good coffee. I had Dinner in FURKI on three evenings - vegetarian menu with plenty of options. Hotel has embraced technology in a big way - for example menu is obtained by scanning qr code on table - but staff happy to assist the non-techies like myself. Speaking of the staff - the entire team at FIRKI were exceptional - a great team of friendly and helpful staff, without exception, they are a credit to the hotel, always smiling and happy to chat to guests and assist in any way possible. There is also a rooftop Bar/Restaurant TARO which looks spectacular but I did not get a chance to try. Finally I have to thank the Receptionists, warm, friendly, smiling and helpful at all times - from the moment I arrived to departure. The only small issue I had during my stay was trying to use AC in room - the engineer did attend to assist me - system seems to be controlled centrally rather than from room - however, overall room temp was fine. Thank you to all the staff at Parallel Hotel for a lovely stay - your staff are a credit to you and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

Stayed for 3 days, lake view room Advantages: near the lake, with independent yard, relatively safe, you can see the lake view Disadvantages: The service is very good on the surface. It is very nice. It cannot be executed on the ground. There are unwashed blood stains on the bed and Xiaoqiang is crawling. As soon as I entered the first room, I found that the light was broken and it kept flashing, and the switch was also faulty. The visitor didn't fix his breath, communicated 3 times, and changed the room. I was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage, but the body odor in the second room was obvious. I opened the window and it took a long time to ventilate. Every time I cleaned and replaced, I was short of things. I had to call for it, but it would be delivered soon. The original mineral water in the hotel is a pink brand called Java. It is recommended not to drink it. When it is boiled, it is full of suspended scales. It is fine if you buy it outside. Check out on the last day. It is 11 o'clock when the reservation is made. The hotel phone reminder is 10:30, and the delay is up to 11:30. The attitude is rather blunt. Looking at the hotel for 7000 rupees a night, the difference between hygiene and details is too big, but the hardware is OK

Excellent stay with the family. A little rough and lengthy check in, noisy corridors with people shouting across the halls and balconies even late at night. BESIDES the above we had a fantastic stay. Very courteous and helpful staff and teams, great housekeeping, superb breakfast. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

A ROYAL experience !!! We stayed at Leela Palace, Udaipur for 2 nights as part of our trip here for our 25th wedding anniversary and what an amazing stay we had. Right from the welcome with rose petal showers as we walked in, the boat ride with accompanying live flute music, to the fantabulous arrangement in the room; Special mention about Mr Madhav Rathi, who was responsible for arranging everything in the room (cakes and cards to welcome us) and outside for us, was one of the most friendliest and accommodating staff we encountered. Even my last minute request for complimentary incense of the exclusive Leela fragrance, he sorted within few minutes. He is an A* staff for Leela Palace. T The room, deco, ambience, the environment, the early morning soothing music, world class cuisine by Mr Roopak, exemplary service from Mr Gaurav / Mr Ronak to name a few, the cleanliness and attention to detail, evening cultural events — a royal experience indeed. Definitely a place to visit again for a longer stay in future

I was checked in room no.117 on 29 December for a day's stay. I have only one grievance about this hotel which is regarding a warm water bath in December cold. I waited for warm water in the bath room as the tap kept open for 10 minutes around 6 'o' clock on 29th morning. Then called the front desk for help. He said they have switched on the system and hot water will be available within 5 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes. When I picked up the phone again , he asked me to keep the tap open for another five minutes. This was successful. But water was not falling properly through the shower. shower holes were filled with mud. I cursed the hotel. A horrible experience in a wellnown hotel because of the poor maintannce. Room temperature also was erratic. Room and both room wwere not properly lighted. A wonderul property spoiled by poor maintanance. One compement for the hotel- Good breakfast.

The room is very large and very spacious. It is also very convenient to get to the City Palace from the hotel for around 100 rupees. The service is also good, the quilt sheets were a bit dirty when I first checked in, and I told the front desk to change it immediately. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the spring rolls were okay, the Rajasthani set meal was totally unused
