"Hotel is undergoing renovation.
So for the time being there is no front office and lobby .
I try to make early check in , but no excuse.
I am just thinking maybe , they will give us some excuses due to renovation process .
Anyway , we are allowed to check in around 13pm local time .
And its okay too."
"It was good. Unfortunately, when I booked through the trip app, I reserved a deluxe room with a sea view. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that sea view rooms are only available in their business category."
"The location is very strategic, Losari beach and the souvenir center of Jl. Somba Opu can be reached by a short walk. The room facilities are quite adequate, the food at the restaurant is okay. We experienced a power outage several times on the last night of our stay, but other than that, this hotel can be recommended for staying."
"This gem is runned by a very lovable couple Marla and her husband.
the place is clean and fresh close to the sea and many restaurants around.
Marla can help you with lots of info and arrange trip to anywhere with real value for your money.
Highly recommended.
When we back in Makassar we now know where to go."
"The service is good but the security is often not there, sometimes the parking is blocked even though there is still space and you are directed to a parking lot that doesn't have a door."
"Located strategically at sam ratulangi street. The staffs are not well trained, the reception doesn’t even know the meaning of TWIN BED that I had to argue with him? Showers are not properly functioning. Breakfast was quite ok…
There’s always at least one miscommunication between me and the reception staff on every each day, such a draining experience to stay at this hotel especially when you’re on vacation."

Great
TTakuto ShinogiAll the staff were kind to Japanese tourists.
The rooms are large and clean. (However, the water flow was a little slow, probably because the shower drain was clogged.)
At the restaurant, the chef explained each dish in detail, so we were able to enjoy delicious traditional Makassar cuisine without any hesitation. I wanted to go to a restaurant in town, but the food was so delicious that I didn't have to.
I would like to stay again the next time I visit.
I would like to visit at a time other than Ramadan to use the pool and spa and check out the facilities on the 15th floor.
I had a great time for 5 days.
Thank you! Arigato!!
GGuest UserThe best place to stay and enjoy in Makassar. The room was very nice, super clean and great window views. Hotel staffs was friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast and nice and delicious. Definitely will come back again to stay here if had a chance to visit Makassar.
GGuest UserThis business hotel is the perfect mid range transit hotel or for discovering Makassar.
The staff are warm and efficient and the rooms large and comfy.
Breakfast is above decent.
It’s a bit off the main shopping street but still central enough to reach anywhere in the city with Grabcar for RP13000 to 27000.
MMilan VodopivecThe reception staff went our their way to help me: they directed my Bluebird taxi driver, as he could not speak English; they helped me with ordering a Grab taxi; and even after I left the hotel, they contacted me to notify me about a restaurant I was asking them about. I am particularly thankful to Ms. Dewa for this support.
GGuest UserThe receptionist and security guard were friendly, we were given an early check-in dispensation, we arrived at 11, we waited a while, at 11.30 we were allowed to check in even though it should have been at 14.00, there was a welcome drink in the lobby, the water was strong like a fire engine, it was really cool. The room was clean, there were no sandals, there were 4 clothes hangers, it was pretty good
GGuest UserGood is location. If you want hotel by the sea, then this is it. No other hotel offer such sea view and islands of Lae Lae. Bad points: Unfortunately the hotel is old and dirty. The lobby ceiling leaked, ac outlets are dirty. Room's cleanliness is average, chair and carpet are old and dirty. Bed sheets were a bit dirty. Everyday bath towels are smelly. No small towels for hand. Mininimum amenities. The breakfast spread is ok, fare of indonesian soto, mie ayam, various of nasi and chickens, egss, cakes fruits. The rooms is a bit damp, AC is average and noisy. Toom is thinly insulated, you can hear the noise from people talking at the alleys. Staff are friendly. This hotel should be 2 or 3 stars
PPandaLautNeed better pest control. In the room I stayed, I observed some german cockroaches (blatella germanica) that coming out from under the bed, in the bathroom, and around work table area, especially in the nighttime. Apparently I also found one tomcat just before check out earlier.
GGuest UserI don’t know what to say cuz I am thinking to say about the good things. the most I hate in this hotel is the wifi, it’s super poor. You need to log in with the username and password that was given by the receptionist. And then when I am connecting the wifi in my room, oh God this is disaster. So well, I am using roaming in Indonesia and my roaming went smoothly then the wifi. I even can’t open google. Or refresh my instagram. It’s super super slow. I need to go to the lobby if I wanted to use the wifi since my roaming has limited access too. And the bathroom is just too small but its unique the concept like in the airplane.
The only thing I like in this hotel is the location and the reception is super friendly, and there are many options for breakfast but mostly for Indonesian traditional foods.
NNURFAJRIVery good recommended hotel in Makassar, the emperor hotel is easy to access, the location is good, one of the hotels that are good class is cheap but not cheap.
