"The room is clean and warm, the bed upstairs can sleep four people, the breakfast is rich, and the waffles are a must. Parking is easy. The common areas are spacious and the hot tub at night is nice."
"Unforgettable stay, nice place, pleasant environment, gorgeous view outside, similar as described. I am satisfied. The rorbu is clean, well equipped, comfortable and decorated space. The breakfast is delicious and pre-pack because Restaurant Kjokkenet was close during my stay. The receptionist is very helpful and show me how to boil nice coffee. The rorbu is absolutely perfect and I could not recommend it more."
"We stayed in a beachfront cottage, which had an oven and kitchenware. We could see the beautiful view from the door, but unfortunately the clouds were too thick on the day we checked in so we didn't see the aurora. The overall stay was good except that the toilet was a bit plain."

"My visit to Lofoten was solely because of the Northern Lights.
As a solo traveler. a central location, inexpensive, safe, clean are the key factors i base on for the hotel search.
Fast Hotel’s convenient location, self-check in, are superb. But during my stay, from check-in till the next morning, the entrance door to my room could not be locked at all and i had to go out without locking my room. Till the next morning a young male employee promised to help fixing it. He did. Was and am grateful to him.
On the second night, i ended up
not searching for northern light but the LIGHT - electricity broke down and internet connection was also down - from before midnight till 01:29. - and the hotel main entrance door, usually remains closed and is to be opened via pin code - now the sensor is not working (it is now 03:45, still not working), making my plan of going out to observe the northern light and coming back to the hotel not possible.
Somehow, during the wee hours at the lobby i met someone who works nearby and stays at the same hotel, taught me how to manully open the faulty main entrance glass door (just use hands, with slight force, to manually slide open the glass doors to both sides. It didn’t require much force at all.)
While technical hiccups can be rectified, here is my suggestion to the Hotel - please install a light for writing desk. The whole room has only two side table bed lights. No general light for the room at all (there are recessed ceiling lights but switches cannot be found). At the writing desk, a light sauce is a must-have.
That said, i still like the hotel a lot because of its location and self-check in, completely without a Reception counter/area - that is wonderful.
G
reat is also he closeness to the bus terminal (not noisy at all) is pivotal as the buses (running infrequently in Lofoten) are the “lifeline” for those who visit Lofoten without a rented car.
As a solo traveller, i will want to come back to this (and/or similar) Fast Hotel. i like it. It is like a trusted friend, sometimes not feeling well, but a friend is a friend."
"Hotel location is very good, right next to the docking harbour for cruises and there are a few car rental companies nearby. However, we arrived on a very busy day and they only had limited parking spots on a first come first served basis, so we had to park quite far away.
The hotel lobby looked really grand, with coffee machines free for guests to use. Check in was quick and efficient. We quickly checked out the gym on 2nd floor, we didn't get to utilise it but the gym was very well equipped with Technogym equipment and even a squat rack!
The room itself was clean and spacious, it was cloudy and rainy otherwise the view overlooking the docking port would have been fantastic.
Buffet breakfast was another highlight, with lots of options and allergies / ingredients clearly labelled. Definitely try out their wide range of local cheeses, absolutely yummy!"
"The breakfast at this hotel was the best we had in all the hotels in Norway. The sister hotel next door is said to be very good as well. Not only that, but the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff was also outstanding. The hotel is located in the center of town, which is very convenient, and we also got free parking this time. Don't miss this hotel when you come to Lofoten."
"Although there is a 24-hour counter service on the trip, there is actually no one to receive it. I heard from other guests that they will send a letter in advance to send information such as the room number and gate password, but I did not receive it. Later, I asked the customer service to ask the agent to contact me. Room number and password, I hope the hotel can provide an email, which is more convenient for tourists to contact! Other breakfasts and kitchens are not bad.
No reception at all, and only leave the phone number to contact isn’t convenient to the foreign tourist like us. But the kitchen and breakfast is good."
"Unexpectedly satisfactory, the hotel is located in the town of Svolvaer, with beautiful scenery right outside the door, and restaurants, supermarkets and shopping malls downstairs. The room is also spacious and clean, very cost-effective! But there is no parking lot, just find a parking space nearby!"
"The space is large in Europe. But hotel facilities are aging. Many electronic locks are bad. Hotel customer service has been back to the mail for a long time. But it is indeed the cheapest hotel there."

GGuest User😊Good hotel with best service. A lady at reception (sorry for not asking your name) was helping us carrying very heavy luggage to the room with high stairs. Sufficiency amenities and kitchen ware and dishwashing soap. Coffee, tea, cocoa with cookies serves in the morning with no extra charge.
🥹 only one door handle fell off but temporary fixable by ourselves.

WWatcherWe arrived on a wet day and got our room almost immediately. Charming cottages with ample parking spaces. Room is warm and decently spacious. Self service kitchen short on utensils... like no teaspoons, no racks for drying out washed cutleries, no microwave oven. A conventional oven is provided that takes a while to heat up.
HHans jr.Die Unterkunft liegt etwas vom Hotel entfernt.
