"I visited Maldives for the second time and took a short trip to Velassaru with my 3-year-old baby. I had another wonderful time. Hygiene: I stayed in a sand house for 2 nights. Every day, the staff would take the initiative to ask if it was cleaned. The guy cleaned very carefully. I like his work attitude. Facilities: Because of the rainy season, the wind and waves were very strong. I originally planned to experience the Japanese restaurant Teppanyaki, haha, but it was closed on Sunday night. I didn’t make an appointment at other restaurants and couldn’t eat. I could only have a buffet dinner in the main restaurant. I want to praise Velassaru’s buffet. I personally feel it is still very good. It is more suitable for my taste than the previous one in Xiya Family. Haha, I didn’t get to eat the ice cream twice a day around the island. At that time, the children were either sleeping or digging in the sand, and they didn’t give me a chance to eat at all. Environment: The lagoon is super beautiful. It rained a little before going to the island and I was worried that the whole journey would be rainy. Fortunately, it was sunny the next day, and the photos were also very good, haha. Service: The staff on the island are very enthusiastic. They will say hello and tease the children when they meet."

"I had an amazing time with my boyfriend in SAii Lagoon, everyone there was so kind and lovely! They treated us like family and we felt so welcomed. During check-in I met “Jack”, he is so friendly, professional and extremely helpful! Also he speaks fluent mandarin and English which is a plus for Chinese tourists who struggles with English. At the restaurant/pool bar “Mr. Tom Yam” we’ve met some amazing staffs there, always happy to see us and they served us with the most delicious cocktails and food! We were always so happy to see “Eli & Sam”, they gave us the best suggestions when we couldn’t decide on what to get, you won’t be disappointed for sure whether is food or drinks! They knew what we wanted before even telling them which was a plus! And behind the bar you have the best mixologist called “Joseph” he made us AMAZING cocktails I swear is one of the BEST ones I’ve ever tasted so far! They would always greet and smile. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who wants to go there. Before leaving I met “Tharaka” she was so lovely, kind and helpful! Everyone was so lovely, friendly and professional! Will be back to this place soon! "Hard Rock Hotel and restaurants are awesome.The accommodation is so relaxing.Music is always in tune with the vibrant water waves and view.We booked for overwater villa and fully board package all worth of our money.All their restaurants served good food including buffet.This island must be considered coz you can explore three(3) different locations such as Hard Rock,SAII and Marina.The most amazing services,food and staff including our very own Filipino Executive Chef Ruben prepared sumptuous breakfast,lunch and dinner!Sessions and E And B are very commendable.Location is closer to airport just 15 mins by speed boat.Thumbs up,Chef and the whole staff.The manager is also considerate and all the staffs are very friendly and accommodating,receptionist explained all the things that you will be needing in the island.Good job,to all rockers!Hard Rock Hotel really well rocks…Marina and SAII you must also rocks with the Hard Rock!…All the best rockers!#alwaysbegratefulandspreadkindness#workersofGod"

"Let's talk about the good things first: 1. The overall environment is very good. Although there are a few vegetation and marine life, it does not affect the beauty of the glass sea. No matter what the weather is, you can see different levels of blue. 2. The facilities are very new. Whether it is the room or the public area, they are very clean and tidy, especially the restaurant and the open kitchen. I didn't see a fly when I was eating. 3. You can take a free speedboat to island hopping to Saii, hardrock and crossroads, and you can pay by credit card directly on other islands The bad part is the service. I would like to make a special statement. Here I specifically refer to the hotel's housekeeper. The points are all deducted from the housekeeper (named Ismail). The fishing activity originally scheduled for 2/2, he said that if the number of people could not be gathered, it might be cancelled. As a result, he did not give us feedback when the departure time was approaching that day, so we went to Zone to ask the person in charge there, and were told that there would be no fishing activity on 2/2, but it could be arranged on 2/3. We asked all this information ourselves. What is the use of having a housekeeper? 2/3 Before the trip, we met the butler at the pier, and he joked with us: ”No fish, no dinner”. We can pay the restaurant to process the fish we caught. Let me explain here that this fishing activity costs $150 per person, and each processed fish costs $25. We have no problem with the price, and we were very lucky to catch a grouper. As a result, when we were preparing to take it back to the hotel for processing, we were told that it was too late to make dinner that day, and it could only be used for lunch or dinner the next day, but we had to leave for the airport early the next morning. The hotel did not mention this information in the introduction of the fishing activity, and as a butler, he never told us about this rule, especially when he knew that we had to leave early the next morning, why didn't he even remind us?! He even joked with us before we went fishing, ”If you don't catch any fish, there will be no dinner.” As a butler, shouldn't he know these rules? We gave feedback on everything, and he went to ”check” Then they told us that they couldn't solve it. Even on the day we left, they sent us an introduction to the next day's activities. Did they care about the guests' itinerary? Of course, the hotel also has good waiters. The crew members who picked us up at the airport were very professional and enthusiastic (the crew member who sent us to the hotel saw dolphins and asked us to go out to see them). There was also a curly-haired waiter in the restaurant who was very thoughtful. I remember that my husband didn't have noodles the day before, so he asked the kitchen to make 2 bowls and send them to us the next day, and then gave us a 50% discount for dinner. I hope the hotel can clarify the rules of some activities. For such an important service staff as the butler, training needs to be strengthened. I also hope that the Ctrip platform will give feedback to the hotel."

"This hotel is on a small island near the city of Male. The map of this island shows Villingili, which is called Vilingmale by locals. It is the same place. The hotel is very clean and the front desk lady is very considerate. After leaving the airport, take a taxi for 6 US dollars to the pier of this island, and then buy a boat ticket for less than 1 US dollar. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the island. After leaving the pier, walk 2 minutes to the hotel. It seems that you can also take a ferry from the airport to Male, and then take a ferry from Male to this island. But I haven't done this, I took a taxi. This island is very quiet, there are no cars parked on the roadside, but no one is driving. The movement on the island is basically electric vehicles, bicycles, and walking. There are all kinds of facilities on the island, and young people basically work in the city of Male. It is very suitable to find a quiet place and observe the life of people."

"Everything is good!!! But I think there should have a buggy service to send guests to the water bungalow which ours was really very far. We got the all inclusive and is really well included which covered my 3 meals and all time drinks! Nicely set up bday deco with request (just pay of coz). If you are not using their paid services (kayak, parasailing, water ski, massage, etc), u don’t need to waste a single cent. Food is good! 4 types; Arabic, Thai, Italian and International. If you got all inclusive you can book any of the restaurant for your meals but 1 day advance. If u didn’t book/did not get all inclusive, you can only dine at ocean restaurant which is the international buffet. As we got all inclusive, we have free flow of drinks (cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, hot coffee/tea, spirits and wines). We drank until we had cleared what’s on the menu, we requested the bartender to recommend us or give us what they could offer (foc) and they really gave it to us! Nice experience!"
