The hotel 🏨 deserves full marks. From the moment I checked in to the moment I was amazed by the scenery, the location of the hotel can be said to be excellent. It is not far from the beach to disembark, so you don’t have to carry your luggage uphill. The tall guy at the front desk was super nice and took the initiative to help with luggage. Guests troubleshooting problem: I, Ma Daha, changed my headband to a Hong Kong one, so I couldn’t charge it. The day before, my phone was turned off for one night. To be honest, I was really panicked. The lady at work brought it to the room during breakfast. Finally, when I checked out, I suggested that I buy a plug and swipe the card directly. explain

Fabulous location near enough to the port to be walking distance, but far enough away for it to be peaceful. We had room 22 - family room with sitting area - and it was great! Lovely decor, comfy beds, small fridge with tea making facilities. Breakfast was out of this world - Swedes love their brekkie, however in 2 weeks of touring this was the most outstanding! Viggo made our stay even better by being super helpful and a mine of knowledge about local restaurants and places to visit. Thank you! Parking is available opposite for a small fee. 2 hours a day free.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Alma. The location was great, quiet but very close to everything (both the sea and the sights). The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as was the restaurant serving Asian inspired food. We will definitely stay here again.

Villa Alma is a beautiful hotel right on the sea within the walls of Visby. We had a family room, which contained two bedrooms and a sitting room. Our room had a view of the sea. The breakfast was delicious, with home made breads and granola. If we ever get back to Visby, we will definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay at Villa Alma. We were greeted by such friendly and accommodating staff, who did their best to make our stay a good experience. Villa Alma is centrally located close to the city center, the medieval wall and right next to the sea. The interior is so cute and coherent throughout the while hotel! I am definately coming back.

Great service the hotel staff were very accommodating when it came to early check in an early check out. The only thing I would say is the noise from the playground outside the room. It’s a shame they built it there. The location is great and the breakfast is outstanding. I will definitely come again soon

Restaurant Villa Alma at Gotland (iceland outside of Stockholm/Nynäshamn/Sweden) Great place close to the sea with great food, drinks and service! Quite expencive but good! Great atmosphere and tasteful decoration. Expect to spend for 3 dishes and drinks 1 000 SEK per person.

Very good location by the sea and very close to the center. It’s a very cosy nicely designed hotel! The breakfast is very good with lots of choice, including saffron waffles:) We were there during October with our 8 week old daughter and we had a very good stay

Villa Alma is understated, comfortable luxury. Perfectly located, tastefully designed down to every detail. Breakfast was amazing, and the sea is just outside your door. A perfect stay for a first visit to Gotland. Will certainly be back!
