I loved my stay there. Luxury in an old remote town. USB chargers had turbo mode. Curtains perfectly blocked the light. Hot shower with proper water pressure. However, toilet was annoying. It is as loud as one on the airplane, and auto flushes as soon as you move a little bit. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for amenities too. Service was great, and I can easily compare it to 4 stars hotels in big cities. For a foreigner, check in took about 40 seconds, which is super fast. Roof has a nice terrace with tables.

Lushan is the favorite ancient town of this Yunnan trip. The ancient town is not big, it can be visited in more than half an hour, but it is really comfortable and simple.
