"We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment we stayed in. We chose this apartment because it was pet friendly and for the location. The apartment was much larger than we expected, the kitchen had everything you'd need for longer stays, there was a beautifully maintained fully enclosed communal bbq/garden area and the rooms/bathrooms were very clean and tidy. It was easy to park and the building was quiet when we stayed there. Little bit of road noise comes through but it was blocked out with ear plugs and a bit of white noise from the fan supplied. :)"
"Be prepared for the unexpected. The room was probably repurposed from an aged care facility with sink at one end of the room, a fiberglass portable toilet and shower at the other end, and a bed in the middle.
To their credit, room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed, nice white linen, and pillows were ok. Staff was courteous, amenities in room were minimal, and coffee machine at reception was broken.
On the whole, our stay went well, though definitely not worth the $193 we paid for one night, but that I guess is the price you pay for going to Sydney."

"The hotel apartment has cooking facilities, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. The hotel is convenient to the train station and shopping malls, and is also close to the University of Western Sydney. I will stay here again next time I come to Sydney."
"Hotel was very nice but reception lady was quite cold. Everything was good but swimming pool was very dirty with dead fly and insects inside the pool all over. Overall recommend"
"Very impressed with the renovated hotel. Everything new and high quality. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed the extra tv channels. Fantastic location. Gym was out of order as advised but so was the pool. I was hoping to use the pool. Lobby has a strange smell, recommend changing the cleaning products."
"This is an outstanding aparthotel! The room is very large, with a huge kitchen and living room, and two bathrooms! Supermarkets, shopping streets and food streets are nearby! But the price is relatively expensive, and the parking fee is also expensive! Travelers need to think carefully!"
"It took us a little walk from the Parramatta train station, dragging two kids and two large suitcase, to the hotel. Roughly 20 min. But once we had familiarised ourselves about the surrounding area, it takes only 10-15min to travel between the hotel and train station. So 4/5 for its location! Besides, it is very close to the Westfield shopping center. It makes an almost seamless transition for us.
The best part of Holiday Inn Parramatta to us was its cleaness and friend service. We loved how clean our room was on the first day, and how clean it was every time we came back after the room service. We were convinced by the hotel team on their committment over cleaness of the room.
The room amenity may need an upgrade (not to mention the super sensitive fire alarm). The AC seems to be set at a super low temperature, but if setting higher there was a foreign smell. No enough power point so not easy to recharge phones and other electronics. Plus, there were not enough cutleries at the room (so I had to eat a slice water melon with a tea spoon.)
But all by all, I still think this hotel is a great place to stay for a short term holiday. Their outdoor swimming pool is easy to use."
