Comparing Wilkes-Barre many hotels, I finally chose the BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Wilkes-Barry Center. I stayed for 10 days and felt good. The hotel had a sense of affinity and lived very relaxed and comfortable. After a short stay, I renewed this hotel because I was used to living.

The room was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. An included breakfast buffet was simple but good. The man responsible for it was constantly on the move refreshing food, drinks, and cleaning up. There was also an adjacent Fridays restaurant. The negative was a shuttle that ran to and from the wedding. 12 people in the van for 20+ minutes with NO air conditioning on a 90 some degree day! Only the front 2 windows operated. Men in suits and ties were dying, as were the ladies in gowns. A few people that took an SUV due to the van's capacity mentioned that they heard that the A/C wasn't working in the van. This was a very poor ”amenity” provided by a Marriott.

I chose a room with a kitchen. I am very satisfied. The room is large and has a living room. There is no problem in making simple Hamburg steak salad in the kitchen area. It saves money, and meals around are quite expensive. The sofa can also be expanded into a bed, it is very convenient from the highway, and it is excellent value for money, keep working hard
