"Impressive lobby. Nice restaurant and bar. Front desk is polite & efficient if somewhat cold and robotic.
Rooms are not sound proofed from the outside- stayed on the 4th level in a deluxe room- windows weren't double glazed and seal was poor- traffic & street noise audible and disruptive to sleep. Draft coming in from the poorly sealed windows can be felt. Otherwise the room was reasonably comfortable- bedding was comfy, the usual amenities and large enough TV screen. The bathroom was cramped and small, just functional.
Overall, not sure if I will return again given the poor soundproofing of the rooms. The only advantage is its proximity to the international airport terminal. Otherwise just an average stay."
"This hotel is above a pub. When checking in, you have to find a bartender, which may be a little confusing at first. But the staff was very friendly and helped me with my luggage. It is more like a hotel apartment, but the environment and facilities are good. It is also close to the airport, and the taxi cost is about 15 Australian dollars. Very suitable for people leaving for the airport in the morning."
"The room is very clean and big, and it’s just on the opposite side of the international terminal. It was super convenient!!! The staff also very nice to me, since I don’t want to have the corner room, they offered me another room! Thanks a lot! And the wifi was so good, I managed to do some work before my flight."

"Arrived after hours, staff communicated excellent about where key was etc. clean . Noisy people in other rooms, could hear birds. Room came with ear plugs so that says it all."
"We will not stay at Aerotel Sydney again. The small double bed is up against a wall so if one person wants to get out during the night they have to climb over the other! The bed was very high and very awkward to get into. At 65 and 70 years old that is not what we were expecting nor wanting. There are no windows. We didn't get much sleep. We ended up 'topping and tailing'. We were also disturbed by a lot of noise from within the hotel. Whilst it is only a short walk to the departure area, that is not sufficient to outweigh the huge disadvantages of the room and setting. There was insufficient room for our 6 suitcases so they had to be stored behind reception. Luckily the reception is manned 24 hours a day."
"First of all, there is no elevator which is quite disadvantageous as it’s very difficult to carry your luggages 2 floors up. Secondly, the room is small, quite outdated, tiny bathroom and the lighting feels like a camping setup. If you had booked the room with breakfast, please check the timing as it’s only open from 7.30am, so if you had an earlier flight this is not useful. Overall, the location is good and close to airport with only about 5-10mins away with taxi."
"The room is very spacious and clean and the staff is really friendly. It was nice that the bathroom was spacious, and I think I could stay here all the time. Satisfied Satisfied Satisfied"
"Great service apartment, very close to airport and only 15minutes by metro to downtown. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants-perfect for a city trip top Sydney.
Only disadvantage is, the checkout is before 10am, it can be extended to 11, after that the hotel will charge something extra."
"Generously sized king room, plenty of storage and free space, so we never felt cramped.
Bathtub. Not many hotels I've stayed in bother with the bathtub, but I happened to have my Epsom salts in my luggage, so it was a really nice addition to the room.
You really can't hear the planes much, even when they're right above the hotel. I also didn't find other guest noises very bothersome, you could hear some doors closing sometimes, but overall it was a very quiet stay.
Can't fault the reception staff, they were always polite and tried to be helpful."
