Close to the airport, but not fully walkable. A taxi is probably still preferred to get to. I believe if you contact the hotel in advance to ask you can find out more about getting a shuttle - it's somewhat easier to go to the airport from the hotel than going from the airport to the hotel. This is the somewhat 'budget' version of the other Fliport hotels. Hotel rooms are clean enough, with a decent buffet breakfast. There is a pool, gym and very small kids play area. Staff are friendly; somewhat minimal English spoken (if that is a concern). More of a stopover hotel to be near the hotel than a hotel to properly stay and enjoy at.

The hotel is located in a slanted location. We spent a lot of money on taxis for sightseeing. We booked a sea view room and the view was okay. It was 28 degrees during the two days we were there. The room was extremely hot and stuffy. It woke me up from the heat at night. I couldn't sleep well at all. I was curious about how big it was. The hotel's air conditioner was reluctant to turn on. The cleaning lady said that the air conditioner was not turned on and it was just natural wind. She also brought me an electric fan, but the hotel front desk lied to us and said that the air conditioner was on. Haha... 760 The air conditioner was not turned on all night. This is the worst thing. The experience should indicate that there is no air conditioning in the hotel, so I won’t be sure.

My partner and I stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning. The location is PERFECT for the airport - it was less than 10mins by taxi. Also, the hotel is not on the flight path so you don’t get awoken by planes! The hotel is new so it’s clean, modern and very comfortable. Our only issues were with the staff, who were young and a little untrained. The day we arrived was quite warm and humid and I had problems cooling the room with the air con. When we reported it, we were given conflicting advice and it was kinda blamed on us (eventually, we learned they don’t have a cooling function during the winter months). Also, there was a restaurant attached hosting a party, which meant there was loud, drunken karaoke and cigarette smoke filling the lobby, which seemed inappropriate: I’m not sure why they didn’t just close the doors. I’m guessing the staff are new in the hotel game and still figuring it out, I’m sure this will get better.

The hotel is very good, very close to the airport, and there is a drop-off service. Our family of three chose this place just to facilitate the flight the next day, which is very suitable. This is the only hotel I have stayed in that provides midnight snacks at night. Although the chopped pepper is really spicy, hahahaha, but it is full of sincerity. The front desk saw that there were three of us staying in the breakfast room and sent an extra portion. When the room aunt delivered the toothbrush, she also asked if I needed slippers. She really considerate of the guests. Thumbs up 👍!

The hotel is extremely close to the airport, you can walk to the terminal building, but they provide an hourly shuttle as well. The room was very decent and clean, bed was comfortable, and water pressure OK. WiFi was fast.

The front desk helped us solve the problem and upgraded us to a larger triple room! Due to the enthusiastic help at the front desk, we temporarily decided to extend our stay for one more day. Holiday Inn Express Xiamen Lingang is very close to the airport which is convenient. Otherwise the sourrrounding area is not too interesting. I was lucky to get a room with sea view which was beautiful waking up seeing fishermen returning from sea. Staff didn‘t speak English but was very helpful and trying their best to help. The breakfast was very delicious, better than in more expensive hotels I have been. The rooms are big and modern western style furniture. There was no mini bar but you can order somehow and then robots bring the purchase upstairs. Cleanliness was ok but unfortunately the shower drain was a bit clogged. Overall I enjoyed my short stay at Holiday Inn Express.
