Even with the windows shut and earplugs in, the noise was still overwhelming; an elevated highway is just 30 meters away. To their credit, the hotel staff were very accommodating. There was a note on the bedside table acknowledging the noise and earplugs were provided, with a polite reminder to keep the windows closed. However, none of this really helped. Falling asleep was a struggle, and I was still woken up during the night. I considered myself lucky to only be disturbed once. My neighbors, on the other hand, seemed to be woken up repeatedly; I could sense from my dreams that they eventually gave up trying to sleep. Their phone conversations became quite loud, but oddly enough, that actually helped to divert my attention from the highway noise, which I suppose was a silver lining. The air conditioning blows extremely cold, so you'll periodically want to open a window for some fresh air. Be warned, though: the window is broken, and once opened, it might not close again. If you do need to call the front desk for assistance with the window, steel yourself. Be prepared for potentially poor service; even if the staff are rude and grumbling (despite it being their faulty window), you'll just have to tolerate it. Remember, you're away from home, and your personal safety is always the top priority. The walls might look quite aged, but don't let that bother you. After all, it's a Jin Jiang hotel. The complimentary slippers might appear used, but please, don't fret. Even if they are old, they *probably* wash them – after all, they're likely just thrown into a large tub to be 'cleaned' together (sarcasm intended here, suggesting questionable hygiene practices). Whatever you do, don't ask them to change your room type; it seems to be an insurmountable task for them. You'll likely just be met with the response: 'There's nothing we can do.' A really good and comfortable hotel. However, for non-smokers, it's best to choose a non-smoking room, as some smoking rooms can have a quite strong odor. A big tip: there are tons of food options right downstairs, which is super convenient! And the BBQ is a must-try!

Dining options are plentiful and conveniently located right around the commercial street. Getting around is extremely convenient. The hotel facilities show their age, but are still quite decent. It's a solid choice for business travelers who aren't too particular.

The hotel is conveniently situated near Xuzhou East High-speed Railway Station, offering easy access with multiple direct bus routes and a short taxi ride (approximately 10 minutes). Right downstairs, you'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes. Moreover, the Jinlong Lake Scenic Area is just around the corner, featuring a wonderful lakeside greenway perfect for jogging or a leisurely stroll – a really pleasant bonus.

Even though this hotel opened quite a while ago, the rooms don't show their age at all. They are incredibly well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Plus, it's a reliable chain brand with a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it! The window soundproofing is superb – you can't hear any noise from the elevated road downstairs. They even thoughtfully provided earplugs, which shows great attention to detail.
