After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers. This hotel seemed brand new. We stayed in a Junior Suite. Everything was sparkling clean, the blue velvet couches in the room looked like no one had sat on them before. Very gutsy of the designer to choose this color/material combination for couches in a hotel room. I’m afraid it’ll take one lousy guest and they won’t look as new anymore :-P Anyway, I enjoyed the elegance of the place through and through.. and for this price! You won’t find anywhere else in the world. I’d say this is Four Seasons quality, for which I’m used to paying 3-4 times more. The air-conditioning is superb. It keeps the temperature and air circulation exactly how you want it without the noise. In too many hotel rooms the AC blows on your face when you’re sleeping, not this one. You don’t see it or hear it, yet it’s chill and effective, which is exactly how you want it. The shower pressure is good, and the temperature is easy to navigate. I prefer the handheld that can be placed on a specific level on the wall, I find rain showers too wasteful, nevertheless it’s there. The toiletries are plentiful and conveniently come in pump containers. There’s shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and a soap bar. The room slippers are comfortable and pillowy, the bathrobes are light cotton fabric. Drinking water is complimentary, and provided in four 500ml glass bottles, replenished daily. There’s a small gym right by the spa, but it has all the essentials: 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, an elliptical trainer, a mat, and a dumbbell set starting at 2kg going to 20kg. I was the only one there all three times that I used it. The breakfast portion is on the smaller size. If you order the eggs Benedict it comes with 2 small eggs on white toast, and small pieces of smoked salmon. The sides include a jar of fruit salad, yogurt, and a bread basket. The cappuccino is really good. If you have a reason to visit Yangon, this is a must-stay.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

Stayed at this hotel for more than two months and was very satisfied. The staff service is very good, especially the Miss Phyo Ei San at the front desk, who is kind and very pleasant to get along with. This was my 6th visit to Yangon, but my first stay at the Golden Butterfly. The hotel was chosen for its close proximity to the Shwedegon, our only reason for this visit. The hotel is ageing, aren't we all, but it still maintains some of its old grandeur with its beautiful entrance displaying timber craftsmanship of days gone by. The reception was managed professionally in a friendly welcoming manner. The room allocated was airy and clean, with a very large bed, TV and room safe. The bathroom was of normal size,clean and well maintained however the old style shower bath configuration may be difficult for the aged or those with hip and back problems as the bath stands approximately 50 cm high. We were only at the hotel for three days/two nights and as stated earlier our sole purpose this visit was to see the Shwedegon. During OUR stay the staff were friendly and helpful, arranged taxis for us and provided us with guidance as to shopping. The restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, providing me with a large mug for my breakfast tea rather than the usual 'thimble' size cups. The pool area was clean and a nice place to finish one's evening with a cold beer and a glass of wine. Overall this is a low to medium priced hotel ideally situated for a visit to the Shwedegon. Recommended though older or infirm guests should check out the bathroom configuration before booking.

the people do not all speak english at front desk. the rooom was small good for night stay. the ac would not go below 19 c . the water was goood and hot . the pillows ok. the room has safty box and ref. the bed was good against wall so could not wake around. you go to 3 floor to check in . you have to have key to go to floors. the breakfast was good. cold cereal and has asia breakfast. fruit good and coffee great strong. tv had only 2 channel with news english.. hotel airport pick up is 20.00 you can take a taxie for 9.00 or care service for 12.00.
