Pension Yufuin

Including a 5-year-old child, I came on a family trip with my mother (three adults, one child). The house is managed by an elderly couple, and they take care of it carefully. The landlord doesn't speak English well, but he always tries to communicate with customers somehow through a real-time translation app. Thanks to you, I was able to stay well without any inconvenience. The location is about 10 minutes walk from Yufuin Bus Center. It was so nice to have a secluded rural village feel during the walk. In the small river in front of the house, you can always see ducks and other birds swimming or fishing. There is one open-air bath and two family baths in the hot spring. The family bath can be used if it is empty without reservation. The open-air bath can be used in a fixed time. We used the family bath, and my mother kept complimenting the hot spring water. We were also very satisfied to be able to enjoy the hot spring with our children. It was a hot spring bath with a unique Japanese sensibility. Hotel amenities (towels, yukata, toothbrush, ...) are fully equipped, and you can bring them as much as you need if you need them. The overall home atmosphere is warm and quiet. However, since Kaiseki is not provided, it is recommended to make a reservation for dinner at a nearby restaurant in the morning. Most restaurants in Yufuin operate as reservations, and it is easy to close early and see frustration. Usually, we make an appointment by phone, but we are difficult to speak Japanese, so when we make an appointment, we asked the owner of the house for help, and he made an appointment very happily. I was very comfortable while I was in Yufuin, and my family was satisfied.
