Hotels near JR Michikawa station, Yurihonjo

I am a Hong Kong tourist, I don't know Japanese, the front desk staff only understand Japanese, but there is no problem because the staff is very patient. The room is clean and comfortable, the cheapest room type is the room, only the toilet, the wind and lu share (shared place, but can be locked when used, single or with friends). The room type for the second night is expensive. It is a foreign room. It may be a lot new because of the renovation ratio and the room, and there is a private bathroom with a bathtub. Because I am traveling by bicycle, the station is very convenient to step over 1.4 kilometers, and there is an indoor parking lot. There are Lawson and aeon in5-8 minutes on foot. The hotel 3/F has a microwave oven and vending machine; 2/F has a smoking room and a comfortable underground lobby.

We got room 203, with two double beds. The room was standard JP biz hotel sized, in other words small but manageable. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The room lighting was dim and the color temperature of the lighting was on the cool side. The bathroom was classic old- style biz hotel, very compact, with the sink faucet taps serving both sink and shower wand via a valve. The sink’s faucet spigot swiveled over to fill the tub. Breakfast was well below average for a Route Inn. Usually, it’s a very good breakfast but not at this location. The staff were a bit stiff, but professional. The communal bath was small but very good. Overall, below average. I suspect that most people carry on to Akita, only 40km farther, they pass Yurihonjo by and they just don’t get the traffic to invest in the place.

To be honest, I was planning to stay at another hotel, but there was no vacancy and there was a vacancy in front of Richmond Hotel Akita Station, so I made a reservation and stayed there. Room was very nice and fairly spacious. The hotel breakfast was top notch with all the akita specialties, a western selection and a salad bar. Close to various attractions, and the front desk is happy to help with restaurant recommendations if you need it. Location is absolutely perfect being linked to Akita station.

Book because it is the best city hotel in Akita called the guest house in Akita. The bus from the airport is just off Kiuchi-mae. Walking distance from Akita station. Even if the room is renewed, there are many hotels that the water area remains the same, but it is wonderful that this hotel has been properly renovated. The shower is also vigorous. Amenities include pelican soap body soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Body sponge, toothpaste set, shaving set, brush, cotton ＆ cotton swab, etc. The downside is that there are no cosmetics such as lotion that you can always prepare at the city hotel. The wifi is unstable and I have the router brought several times and it is finally stable. Since there is no concierge, there was a little inconvenience in making restaurant reservations I asked the front desk staff. However, in the end, I was introduced to another store ＆ I was able to make a reservation. In addition, he did what he personally asked for. Without this, it was ●●●, but he did it properly, so ●●●●. Situated a minute on foot from Ugo-Honjo Station. All rooms have Wi-Fi and wired LAN connection. Some rooms have a train view where guests can enjoy looking at the passing trains. The Japanese cuisine buffet breakfast is popular among guests.

Hotel in downtown Akita. It is not a distance that can't be walked from the station, but I recommend transportation because there is a little distance. There were many things around the station that you could eat and the color 々 was convenient. The room is a business hotel, so it is just that.

This hotel is near to the station and right above a Lawsons. Room is nothing to shout home about, small and clean. In fact I felt it was a bit smaller than what I'd usually expect from a Japanese hotel, and the air had the faintest tinge of smoke in the air despite this being a no smoking room. Still, beds were comfy and all necessary amenities were provided. The breakfast was appreciated, but can be crowded. There's a good mix of Japanese and Western options, and constant free flow of coffee/tea in the common area.

A newly opened hotel at the end of July 2023. It is located in the city center. It is very convenient to walk to the shopping street. Although the hotel parking lot is very small, there is a very cheap parking lot next to it. It only costs 400 yen a night. In addition, because it is newly opened, the hotel's equipment is all new.
