"It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, Zaandam. It's a short train ride to Amsterdam Central, and costs just over 3 euros. Be careful, because this is not Amsterdam, so you can't use the Amsterdam tourist pass. It's a relatively new area, so there are many fast food restaurants and clothing stores. The security seemed good. It's almost a straight line from the station to the hotel, so you won't get lost. However, the hotel entrance is a little difficult to find, as it's between the restaurants.
There is no front desk, so you use a machine. At the end, your room number will be displayed, so don't forget to check it!
The room is small, but I only had a backpack, so it wasn't a problem. It's modern and very clean. Another plus is that the shower room and toilet are separate. The shower water pressure and hair dryer air pressure are perfect. The bed was a king size bed, so I was able to sleep comfortably.
Amenities include hair and body wash, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. The room has a kettle, a very thin refrigerator (which barely holds anything), coffee and tea, a TV, and a safe. (No hangers)
There was no noise and it was very comfortable. It's cheaper than central Amsterdam, so I recommend it!"
"Rooms lovely and big hotel in a great location next to amazing supermarket and a Turkish cafe and 10 minutes into a beautiful town centre and riund the corner to the train/bus station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful the only two negatives where we wished the room had a toaster considering it’s self catering we only had a microwave and kettle and tiny fridge. We only had breakfast in the hotel once the day we left and we were all very disappointed the receptionist had to tell the kitchen staff to cook some more food due to there being hardly anything there and for 17.95 it definitely wasn’t worth the money but overall I would recommend this hotel."
"The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the room key card kept malfunctioning – it repeatedly didn’t work properly. On the last day, we had to manage with only one card, even though there were two people in each room. Also, the sink was very, very small, which was quite inconvenient."
"Very clean, great location, huge comfy bed, nice swimming pool, new sauna, TV that spins to cover seating and bed, and very friendly staff.
The building also looks super cool, would stay again and would recommend"
"Excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Zaandam train station. Reception service good in general.
Room size good and spacious, except that bathroom door is too close to the bed.
Housekeeping leaves much to be desired. No cleaning & changing of towels on one day in one of our 3 rooms during our 4 nights' stay.
The worst thing is it's bathroom toiletries. Only very tiny bottles of shower jel/shampoo were provided and most of the bottle caps could not be turned open even with force. How could one clean his hair & body with just so little amount of body/hair wash?? Absolutely a stupid and nonsense procurement and supply!"
"When the room is ready, staff allow me for early check in and there’s always staffs to clean the toilet and bathroom to maintain good hygiene. I would recommend those who are travelling alone to choose this hostel"
"I booked and paid in advance. I booked about three weeks before my arrival. But when I got there, I was told by the reception that I had to pay an extra €14.2. They told me that this was city tax, which tourists needed to pay. I really didn't understand it at that time. Because the receptionist received an email and was told to pay the tax, but I did not receive the notice at all. The key point was that it was not displayed when I made the appointment. So my decision is to contact customer service to solve the problem."

Very Good
Zzhengtingoverall a good stay, but what you pay is what you get for, basic amenities only. no fridge or water boiler. but lobby had water dispenser. apart from that, if you reach earlier, early check in will be 20euros. and if you want to store your luggage at counter, will be 5 euros per locker. Huge shoutout to the friendly counter staff tho, very friendly and helpful, thankyou.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located far from the city center, outside the GVB transport zone, I do not recommend checking in without a personal car. The hotel itself is quite good, I did not find any obvious disadvantages other than the distance
