The host is very nice, contact us in advance for pick up service and also provide us the drop off service at the train station of Zhangjiejia West. The room is very nice, all amenities that you need is there. Also, offer some snack and cute gift set when checking in. The room is spacious and clean. The host also help to buy Tianmenshan Ticket for us and advice any information you need. The convenience store is next door and several restaurant just across the road. Tianmenshan Cable Station is only 5 mins walk. I had a brilliant time staying here and would recommend this hotel for others who would like to stay nearby Tianmenshan Cable Way.

We had a great experience at this hotel near the Yangjiajie entrance of the park. The facilities are quite good, with a nice common area where we really enjoyed playing billiards — a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The young woman at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us. She helped us buy our park tickets, gave us a map, and explained the best routes to explore the area. Her attention made a big difference in our visit. The rooftop terrace is another highlight — it's peaceful and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, which makes it a great place to unwind. Breakfast was included, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a delicious and authentic Chinese-style breakfast, and the ladies preparing and serving it were lovely and very attentive. Overall, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommended if you're planning to visit the Zhangjiajie National Park from the Yangjiajie side.

Tucked away in the scenic heart of Wulingyuan, Er Ya You Inn offers a cosy, authentic stay with a distinctly local charm. The inn combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern comfort—think wooden interiors, warm lighting, and serene mountain views from many of the rooms. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, often going out of their way to help with travel tips, tickets, or even home-cooked meals. Its location is ideal for exploring the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a short walk or drive away. While the inn isn’t luxurious, it’s clean, atmospheric, and offers great value—perfect for travellers looking for a peaceful base to enjoy the natural wonders of the area.

Nice cute hotel, great location for Tianmenshan. Amenities were good. Standout was the service though, all 3 service members were incredibly helpful. The male helper (who I’m assuming is, or is one of, the managers / owners, was very kind and slowly ran through the best way / cheapest way to get to Zhangjiajie national forest park and how to manage from there, as it can be quite overwhelming at first. Very much appreciated the service and great price!

The host are extremely polite and friendly. The lady took us from the hotel to the bus stop 🚏, gave us all kind of information to move around and when my mom stayed at the hotel by herself because she was too tired by walking around the mountains, they took care of her, gave her some Wantong and were super friendly, even she can’t speak English 🥹🫶🙏 We also made some laundry 🧺 everything very clean 🫶 We are very grateful with them. The food is extremely delicious 🤤 100/100 🙌🙌🙌🙌

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Yuxi Homestay! The hotel owner was so kind and helpful with planning our itinerary and booking tickets for Wulingyuan, Tianmen Mountain, Huanglong Cave, and the Glass Bridge. Our room was simultaneously cozy and spacious, with a beautiful view. Every morning we were treated to a delicious free breakfast. It’s a family business, and it really shows. They were all very kind and the little daughter running around was very cute too. If you speak Chinese, you’ll get to experience how fun they are. If you don’t, they’ll try their best anyway so try to meet them halfway. There’s a great restaurant right around the corner too, and the owner there is a good friend of the hotel owner. The restaurant name is Tu Jia Xiao Er, or 土家小二. I don’t think I’d want to stay anywhere else if/when I come back to Zhangjiajie!

The best service I ever had from a hotel. It's a family-run hotel where you can add the receptionist on wechat and he responds extremely fast. The receptionist helped create itineraries to explore Zhangjiajie's many parks. At first, we weren't sure if he was trying to sell us tours or packages for profit but all the advice he gave us was for free! When we explored the park, we found his advice to be so helpful since we moved against all the tour groups and heavy traffic, avoiding lines and long waits for pictures. We were kind of difficult and had to ask for refunds for tickets last minute because of personal reasons, but he still helped and fulfilled our requests. Truly the best service ever. Also, we had a third friend who stayed with her dad at a separate 5 star hotel, and the receptionist made sure to help them buy discounted tickets despite not even being guests at the hotel. She said this hotel's service was even better than their 5 star hotel's! Her dad often called him for help while we were at the park and he would always pickup. At the end, he gave us free Zhangjiajie magnets!

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at this well-located hotel in Wulingyuan. It served as an ideal base for exploring both Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the park entrance and surrounded by plenty of great local dining options. Being right on the scenic footpath along the stream added to the charm. The hotel manager was exceptionally helpful, offering valuable tips for our visit—and to our delight, spoke flawless English, which made everything even easier. We also appreciated the convenient self-service laundry area, which was well set up and very useful during our extended stay. We stayed in the top-floor room, which came with a large patio and a nice view. While it was enjoyable, if we return, we’d probably opt for a standard room with a balcony. The so-called “pool” isn’t really a pool, so paying extra for that amenity isn’t worth it. A few areas for improvement: the top-floor room would really benefit from a fridge and some comfortable seating—after a long day of hiking, a sofa would’ve been much appreciated. The extra space in the room felt a bit underutilized, just an empty area with a hard floor. That said, the bathroom was excellent—the shower had great pressure, generous space, and multiple spray settings. The bed and linens were comfortable, though we did find the pillows too large for our taste. Overall, a great stay and a hotel we’d recommend—especially for its unbeatable location and helpful staff.

Location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to a lot of restaurants, shops, the Nanmenkou streetfood market and Dayong ancient town. The room was spacious and communication with the front desk went smoothly through WeChat. The only thing was that cigarette smell kept coming through the airvent when we turned on the airconditioning. If you don't mind it, I would say this hotel is fine to stay at when you are planning on exploring the city and Tianmen mountain.

The hospitality has been incredible, from bringing our luggage to helping us with the natural park expedition as bringing fruit snacks in the middle of the day, everybody was caring and supportive at an extraordinary level. Plus the house and the swimming pool are super super nice. Highly recommended for both families and couples.
