"The room was clean, the staff was super helpful and nice. The pool outside was amazing and open for a long time, they provide towels. The breakfast was amazing with lots of different options. The only thing missing was a thicker blanket. And the time for checkout is pretty early."

"Hôtel magnifique avec un personnel très accueillant et serviable. À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée pour accéder en voiture et nous garer devant l'hôtel, mais le personnel de la réception nous a immédiatement guidés avec beaucoup de gentillesse. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking souterrain, en plus des quelques places disponibles devant l'établissement, ce qui est très pratique. La chambre était propre, moderne, bien équipée et surtout très bien insonorisée, ce qui nous a permis de profiter de nuits très calmes. Le personnel a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos demandes et nous a donné d'excellentes recommandations de restaurants. Nous avons également apprécié le geste de nous autoriser à rester 30 minutes de plus après l'heure de départ. L'emplacement est idéal : bien que l'hôtel soit légèrement en retrait de la route principale, c'est un véritable avantage car cela permet d'éviter les nuisances sonores. Il se trouve à seulement quelques mètres de la plage, dans un quartier vivant avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité. Tout était parfait. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation !"

"We had a totally great experience staying at Hotel Potami and will definitely be staying there again. The hotel itself is absolutely excellent, beautiful, and really reached the standards we were expecting. Grace, the manageress, is absolutely amazing, very helpful, and cheerful. She is doing a brilliant job managing the hotel, and I feel like I've made a new friend in her—she easily deserves a 5 out of 5 stars! Being a brand-new hotel, I completely understand that there are still a few adjustments to be made. The rooftop restaurant/bar wasn't functional yet during our stay, and there just needs to be a bit of improvement regarding the bathroom showers, as the water tends to flow out onto the floor. Additionally, while the rest of the staff was wonderful, the receptionist didn't come across as very friendly and could use a bit more warmth with guests. Minor growing pains aside, it is a wonderful place. I give the hotel itself a solid 4.8 out of 5 stars (or 4/5 overall), and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Himara!"

"Super nice hotel, very new, we had a great room with view on the sea. Staff was friendly and they even cleaned our room in the afternoon. The road to get to the hotel is gravel and very steep, also it’s about a half an hour walk to the promenade."

I’m not going to talk only about how comfortable the hotel was, how welcoming the atmosphere felt, or how incredibly helpful and attentive the staff were — especially with all the little things that make traveling with a baby so much easier. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care made our stay feel truly special. But what I really want to highlight is something that goes far beyond comfort and hospitality: the exceptional professionalism, honesty, and integrity of the people working here. During our stay, I unfortunately left my wallet at a restaurant. It contained all my important belongings, as well as a valuable gold necklace. Naturally, I was extremely worried. The hotel manager immediately took action and contacted the restaurant. And what happened next was simply incredible: within just five minutes, the restaurant owner personally came to our hotel to return everything I had forgotten. Everything was there. Nothing was missing. I have traveled to many places and stayed in many hotels, but I have honestly never experienced this level of honesty, responsibility, and genuine care. It is moments like this that truly reveal the character of a hotel and its people. Hotel Azura is not simply a comfortable place to stay — it is a place where you feel safe, respected, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. A very special thank you to the manager and the entire team for going above and beyond, for making our stay so comfortable with our baby, and for showing such incredible kindness and integrity. This is the kind of hospitality you remember. Iwould wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Azura to anyone looking for a place where exceptional service comes from the heart. MMichael BilenkiThe only thing we liked was the location and the sea view from the room. It's the only hotel that's located right by the sea and with its own beach. All other hotels in this resort are located across the street from the sea. The standard room 326, where we stayed for 4 nights, was terrible. The mattress was pushed through, and in the morning it felt like you'd been beaten all night. The safe was out of order. The shower was missing and water was spreading all over the bathroom floor. When we asked to fix the problems, the hotel manager only promised but did nothing. About the faulty safe, she said, ”Don't worry, they don't steal from us.” On the first morning of our breakfast stay, we were required to pay for tea and coffee, although I said breakfast was included in the reservation. I complained to the administrator, and she told the restaurant not to charge us for tea and coffee anymore. In the days that followed, at breakfasts, the wait staff at the restaurant looked at us like we had stolen something from them. On the third day, we were told that the black tea was over and they didn't even apologize. Overall, the atmosphere at the hotel was not friendly towards us. On the beach, some of the deck chairs were in faulty condition, the shower didn't work for the first three days of our arrival. The hotel doesn't give out beach towels, and that was a problem for us. The hotel staff saw and informed the administrator that I took a face towel to the beach, so the administrator not only scolded me, but also changed towels in our room the next days for old, washed and even without the hotel logo, it seems to me, towels were given to us forgotten by previous guests. Unfortunately, the Grand Hotel Aita is not a hotel you want to return to.

GGuest UserUna vera chicca con cibo e panorami fantastici. Siamo stati contentissimi di aver scelto questo hotel. È tutto nuovo, pulitissimo e c'è un'atmosfera di pace e relax fantastica. Siamo rimasti davvero contentissimi del ristorante dell'hotel. da italiani , siamo sempre un po scettici hahaha....Abbiamo cenato lì una sera e il pesce fresco era eccezionale. Anche la colazione a buffet è stata super, con un sacco di opzioni locali e fresche. Le foto della piscina sono 100% realistiche ( giustamente viene il dubbio ma sono assolutamente come da foto): cè un'incredibile piscina a sfioro con un idromassaggio proprio accanto, e tutto con vista sul mare e un'altra piscina normale che non è gigante ma è bellissima perche puoi nuotare, rilassarti e amirare il panorama e il tramonto da li. La nostra camera era spaziosa, moderna e con un balcone privato, intimo e senza alcun rumore e anche li ci siamo  goduti il panorama. Non è da meno il servizio. Lo staff è davvero gentile e professionale. Un grazie di cuore a Florian e Johana (spero di aver scritto giusto i nomi) per essere stati così disponibili dall'inizio alla fine. Ah, una nota importante: prima di prenotare avevo letto qualche recensione su Google che parlava della strada per arrivare, dicendo che era orribile e pericolosa. Onestamente, mi sembrano molto esagerate. Sì, la strada è in salita, ma è assolutamente fattibile e in cemento e bastava andare pianino. Non lasciatevi spaventare da questo, perché la vista e la tranquillità che si hanno da lassù valgono tutta la salita! Non possiamo che raccomandarlo!

GGergana RushidAn excellent stay – highly recommended! Hotel Portanova exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Although communication in English was a little limited, everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and always willing to assist with a smile. The hotel was exceptionally clean. We checked in early on 25 June, slept for just a couple of hours and went out. When we returned, our room had already been cleaned and refreshed, which really impressed us. The attention to cleanliness throughout our stay was outstanding. The atmosphere feels warm and family-run, making you feel more like a guest than just another visitor. Breakfast was another highlight – everything tasted fresh, homemade and carefully prepared. It was the perfect way to start each day. The only small downside was the language barrier, but it never affected the quality of the service or the kindness of the staff. I honestly can’t give this hotel anything less than 5 stars. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Sarandë, Portanova Hotel is an excellent choice.

CClair-JWe spent 3 nights here in May, and honestly we will be back! Lovely hotel, and fabulous beach! Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed (including water in the fridge and tea/coffee). It was also cleaned every day to a high standard. The breakfast (free!) was fab, lots of choice and nice and fresh! The beach and sun bed were amazing, beautiful and right in front of the hotel!!! We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was really good! Grilled shrimp and Mediterranean salad were a highlight for me :-) but what really makes this place is the staff - friendly, kind, helpful and really focussed on good service! Shout out to thw young chap who is also a painter and decorator (when he’s not a waiter) - so helpful and friendly the staff on reception (very helpful) and the wonderful staff in the beach bar who made it so we could watch the football :-) location is also fab - outside of town, but only 30 mins walk and so nice and peaceful! Wpuld highly recommend!
