"Excellent. My kids love the pool and the playground. My husband enjoyed the gym. The room is spacious. We picked the grand deluxe and love it. Two toilets, how convenient. I heard there are connecting rooms between deluxe and grand deluxe. We are going to pick those when we come back. The staff is friendly. When i accidentally left my stuff after checked out, they helped me look for it and i easily could get it back without any hassle."

"Good location for budget travelers, but cleanliness and facilities need improvement Location & Accessibility. The hostel is located near the Gadong Night Market in a relatively safe area. It takes about 15 minutes by car or bus to reach the city center, where you can find the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Kampong Ayer (water village), and museums. Public buses to the city center are available right from Gadong Night Market. Room & Cleanliness: I booked a bed in the female dormitory and was guided to another building about a 1-minute walk from the main Google Maps location, which was fine. However, I had concerns about the cleanliness. The bedsheets, although supposed to be fresh, had visible hair and dust on them. I was offered a different bed, but it had the same issue. Since I was exhausted from long-distance travel, I gave up and accepted it, but I felt uncomfortable watching the staff simply brush off the dirt by hand and assign the previous bed to another guest. Facilities & Wi-Fi: There is room for improvement regarding the bathroom and Wi-Fi. The shower rooms (separate from the toilets) are extremely small, with no hooks to hang towels or clothes. There is also a mild sewer smell from the toilet and shower area. The hostel uses a strong orange air freshener throughout the property, which felt a bit overpowering. While Wi-Fi is provided, the connection was extremely slow—perhaps because my room was at the far end of the hallway. Since eSIMs in Brunei are relatively expensive compared to other countries, the weak Wi-Fi was quite inconvenient. Overall: It has the absolute basics. If you are on a tight budget and just need a cheap place to sleep for 1 or 2 nights in price-heavy Brunei, this could be an option. However, expectations for cleanliness and comfort should be kept low."

"The location is fantastic. Even during Ramadan, they prepared breakfast for us. And not just in the room, but we could eat as much as we wanted at the 7th-floor buffet. Thank you! The room is spacious. There are so many light switches that it's hard to figure out which one controls what. There was a kitchen, but it wasn't usable – no pots, pans, plates, or spoons. There's an electric kettle, two complimentary bottles of water, and a fridge. The staff are very kind. I appreciate having a bathtub, and the hot water works. My biggest complaint is that even with the AC turned off, it was still cold. Maintenance came to the room multiple times, but it remained chilly. The pool is a good size, and there's a gym too. A supermarket is conveniently connected next door, along with cafes. Across the road is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and it seems to be owned by the same group. Postcards can be found at the Ritz-Carlton gift shop. The hotel front desk offered a service where, for $1 per card, they would go to the post office, buy stamps, and mail them for you – very helpful! A ride to the airport was about $10 via a ride-hailing app. The place has a retro vibe. There were koi fish in the lobby. The biggest issue is the no-smoking policy; you can't smoke outside, in your room, or anywhere on the premises. Apparently, this isn't due to Ramadan but is a Brunei rule."

"The best part only swimming pool.. my kid was playing alone, during Ramadhan it seems not many kids were around playing and swimming. Unfortunately, i a bit late to book for sungkai buffet at this hotel, it was already full. and for Sahur buffet, it was not ofered during the 1st week of Ramdhan.. So, actually we came here, it was just for the swimming pool."

"Good value for money and a comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was also convenient for getting around Brunei. The only downside was that the shared bathrooms could be cleaner, as they were sometimes a bit dirty. Aside from that, everything else was satisfactory, and I enjoyed my stay overall."

"Wonderful staff and useful airport transfers, but the hotel needs a complete renovation The strongest part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely willing to help with absolutely everything. Their attitude made a huge difference, and we are very grateful to the entire team! The hotel also provides complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, which was extremely convenient. We received a room upgrade, and the staff brought drinking water and fresh linen to the room. Coffee and tea supplies were replenished every day as well. Unfortunately, the building and rooms are extremely outdated, and cleanliness was a serious problem. The hotel clearly needs deep cleaning, better maintenance and a major renovation. Despite the excellent service and useful amenities, the poor condition of the property made the stay much less comfortable. Thank you again to the wonderful staff — you were truly the best part of this hotel."

"The reception lady was lovely and professional. She verified all the required details promptly and, shared some useful information within the hotel and nearby attractions. The room is pretty standard, comes with the necessary in-room amenities and the air-conditioning was NICE. The environment was pretty neat, no loud noises from the street nor from the air-conditioning. Location of the hotel is ideal. It is near some of the main attractions, while furtherest is about a 15 minutes car ride. Breakfast buffet (at an additional fee) is alright, mainly international cuisine. Tried their in-house restaurant and in-room dining. Food was delicious and affordable. All of the staffs I have came across and interacted were extremely friendly and positive. Nothing much to be picky for this hotel."

"I used this hotel for a transit stay. Upon arrival, the hotel's shuttle staff was immediately available, making the transfer to the hotel smooth and convenient. The location is great, with many attractions within walking distance, and there's a night market nearby, which is a big plus. The bathroom was also clean, which was nice. For breakfast, there weren't many options, but there was toast, jam, and drinks, which was perfectly fine for my child's breakfast. Just note that toothbrushes are not provided in the room, so you'll need to bring your own."

"We enjoyed our one-night stay with my friends. We stayed there for our hiking trip. They granted us a late check-out until 1:00 PM. Breakfast was alright. I wish they had soup options like corn or mushroom, and more fruit selections—there was only watermelon (not sweet) However, the main courses were delicious. Wi-Fi on Level 5 was not stable. The swimming pool was closed for some reason. We called the reception 3x, but no one picked up. Other than that, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it."
