"The location is very convenient for a tourist: it is directly across the street from Dongxi (east-west) Alley and is a short walk from Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Qixing park. The entrance is on Zhengyang Pedestrian Street meaning easy access to shops, food stalls and restaurants. The hotel exceeded my expectations, offering a high standard of comfort and service for the price. I am a frequent traveller who usually views a hotel just as a room with a bed to sleep in, though sometimes I treat myself to something nicer. In this case I chose the Mountain view room. The room was spacious, the largest bed I have ever slept in and floor to ceiling windows that gave a good view over the scenic area. There is a tea table in the window area, in which I enjoyed sitting drinking tea and watching the world go by. Even when lying down in bed I could see a ‘wall’ of sky. It was a very relaxing environment. While there I made use of the free laundry room which was very handy. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Even the lobby area is made to feel welcoming with free drinks available and a wall of cards with messages written by previous guests. The restaurant is on the top floor, which also has an outside seating area with good views. The restaurant had vegetarian options available, which were tasty and reasonably priced. I would defiantly stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Couldn’t have chosen a better stay in Yangshuo! This hotel exceeded my expectations by far, and it’s well worth the price. I would like to start by mentioning the breakfast, with plenty of both Chinese and Western options, among which the Guilin rice noodles were the absolute highlight for me! I loved eating this local dish every morning—light yet filling, and so rich in flavor! Another highlight was, without a doubt, the large pool with stunning views. It was always super clean and never crowded—a must in this weather! Also, the whole outdoor area is perfect for taking lovely pictures. The room didn’t disappoint—big, bright, and luxurious, with a lovely view of the mountains (opening the curtains every morning was a show!) and a cozy bathtub. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel staff for being so helpful and kind throughout the stay, and for helping us book a taxi to our next destination. Honestly, there’s nothing bad I can say about this place, and I would totally recommend it. Can’t wait to be back!"

"It was a very nice hotel with beautiful scenery outside. We will stay again if come back Wuzhou. Lots selection for breakfast and dinner buffets. Bed is comfortable. Unfortunately the Chinese restaurant on 3rd floor we had morning tea next day allowed smoking. I can not believe in such a modern place in 2026 still allowed smoking."

"I couldn't have been happier with my stay. I've never been to Guanxi province before, but it surpassed all my expectations. The village itself is beautiful, and around 7km from Yangshuo, so it's not as busy as central locations but still plenty to see around the Yulong river. But most of all, the family and all the staff at this hotel were truly exceptional, and made me feel so welcome. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean, and they service your rooms every day which means you always have a freshly made bed and water bottles. Breakfast was included and was wonderful and plentiful....porridge, watermelon, yams, boiled eggs served with red tea, and you could also order coffee. You can also get a big bowl of noodles, but after they realised as a foreigner, I don't really like to eat this kind of thing for breakfast, they simply adjusted to my tastes and gave more eggs and sweet potatoes the next day without me even needing to ask- fantastic service! I really enjoyed the company of the boss man, and I assume his wife. After watching snooker together the first evening, they invited me to eat dinner together the next night, along with the kitchen cook. It felt like a family meal, and I felt very welcome indeed. By the way, I walked between villages in my afternoons, which was great exercise and there's plenty of good routes for bicycling. 🚲 I am already looking forward to coming back 🏞"

I also want to dedicate my thank you to 叶子 for her brilliant service to my husband and I today. We went out for a bike ride and suddenly, a huge storm has hit. We were drenched. We have already checked out at this point but when we arrived back to collect our luggages, she noticed our wet clothes and made sure we were properly taken cared and making sure we are okay before we leave for our train. This deserves a proper recognition. I’d recommend LS Hotel for anyone who want a fantastic hotel experience. The hotel is beautiful, has many photo spots to taken excellent photos and even served afternoon tea in our package. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back to beautiful Yangshou in the future and back to this hotel!"

"A very comfortable stay! The room was simple, modern, and clean. Hyatt's 'Good Dream' mattress was so soft and comfy, I didn't want to get out of bed. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, there was a 55-inch large TV, and a separate workspace, all well-appointed. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. 😴 The breakfast was fantastic too! Enjoying a bowl of luosifen (river snail noodles) while admiring the river view at the Grand Gallery restaurant truly felt like the right way to experience Liuzhou! They had all the local specialties like Sanjiang zongzi and oil tea, with a rich mix of Chinese and Western options. What was even more surprising was that some of the most popular luosifen shops were right near the hotel, so we didn't have to drag our luggage around to queue. 😄 KRIS, one of the staff members, was incredibly thoughtful ❤️ and helped us with many issues. If I come to Liuzhou again, this will definitely be my top choice."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it's consistently great. First off, the service is excellent. They proactively contacted me about my arrival time and needs, which was a huge plus, especially Joyce, Moon, Pink, Freya, and Amy from the service center. Secondly, the hotel's location is fantastic – right next to a shopping mall. You can even access the mall directly from the hotel lobby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the metro station, and just a 2-3 minute walk to the Exhibition Center, so getting around is a breeze. Additionally, the hotel facilities are well-maintained, with the gym and pool fully operational. The breakfast is also quite good, offering both Chinese and Western options to suit various tastes. All in all, it was a very good experience."

"This hotel was a great choice for my trip, and I'm so glad I picked it! First off, I have to give a special shout-out to Winnie at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. The check-in process was very efficient and smooth. The room itself was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. My only minor suggestion would be to fix the loose outlet in the bathroom, as the hairdryer wasn't working very well. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and getting around. Overall, my stay was fantastic. The staff were all very attentive, and any requests were handled promptly. It was a very satisfying experience, and I'll definitely be staying here again on future trips to the area. I highly recommend it to other travelers!"

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

JJiatengjialatasiluotongI only have three words: Exceeded expectations! Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in. Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again. I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier. I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience! And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

GGuest UserStaying at the Versailles Hotel for my trip to Guilin was a great choice! The location is absolutely perfect, really close to the train station, and it was super easy to get taxis to all the attractions. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and shops right around the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff were quick and helpful with check-in. My room was meticulously cleaned, the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the high-floor view was lovely. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodles were authentically delicious. They even have a self-service laundry room and a large parking lot. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!

The room was clean and cozy, the mattress was super comfortable, and the kids' play area was spacious. It's definitely our top choice when traveling with children! GGuest UserHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
