I had a great time staying at this hotel! Everything feels brand new and super high-tech — they even provide an electric toothbrush, which was such a nice touch. You can control the aircon and TV with your voice, and the whole room setup feels smooth and modern. I booked a suite with a peaceful, green view. Some trees block part of the river, but I personally liked the added privacy and nature vibes. For my parents, I chose a 270-degree view room — it offers a much clearer view of the Li River. The room is slightly smaller than the suite, but the view is absolutely worth it. Before staying here, I actually stayed at a hotel near Elephant Trunk Hill (象鼻山). That area was super busy and noisy, especially during the holidays. Compared to that, this hotel is on the quieter side of the river and feels much more relaxing. There’s also a beautiful park right next to the hotel, which is great for morning or evening walks. The location is still convenient — you can walk to sightseeing spots easily. Plus, there are plenty of food options nearby, and delivery is super easy. What really made the stay memorable was the service. I’ve lived in China for three years, and this was honestly the best hotel service I’ve ever received. Everyone — from the front desk to the canteen to housekeeping — was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Only minor downside: parking is limited. If you’re driving during a holiday, you might have to look around for a spot. If you’re after comfort, smart tech, and warm, genuine hospitality — this is the place to stay!

The room is spacious, the bedding is fresh, clean and tidy, the service is attentive, the facilities are complete, the environment is beautiful, the dishes are rich, and the price is moderate. Overall, the stay experience was very good and I felt at home. Will stay again next time I come.

The inn has a short road from the ancient town. It must be reached by a car (not allowed to walk). It is built on the mountain and the bamboo forest. It is taken care of by the two couples. The hope in life is that there is music in the house, there is aromatherapy, there is book fragrance, there is pen and ink. I entered the door and heard the sound room. I like my brother's record. The feeling improves instantly. Room hygiene is OK, it is recommended to improve the lighting in the house, the homestay itself has a birth defect of lack of supervision, and it will be more afraid if it is not bright enough (personally like bright).

The hotel is in a prime location, and it is very convenient to go to nearby attractions. It costs about 15 dollars to take a Didi taxi to China's No. 1 Arcade Building, so there is no traffic jam. The hotel is by the river and the environment is very good. Although the hotel has been established for a long time, its facilities are still kept relatively new, worthy of being a five-star hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location was also perfect—close to major attractions and convenient for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

It was a pleasant stay. Jane the personal butler did manage to fulfil the requests and created some nice surprises. The overall design and layout was satisfactory. A lot of recreational activities provided and planned for. As the compound was huge it never felt busy while you know there were many people behind the operations. If you ask me if the price was worth it, then I would take a second look, possibly at the price point, there are much better hotels in China but at Chongzuo, they do have a slight monopoly as there are not many hotels in the area for comparison unlike Guilin or Yangshuo (which has similar views and much cheaper price point).

房間靠着湖建的，房間較大，景色方面，枯水期水比較少，基本上是一半土一半水。 服務方面，酒店有提前聯繫服務，酒店門口有個小停車場，可以停車，提供搬運行李服務。下午有下午茶，是一塊芝士蛋糕+破壁機果汁+話梅+小零食。晚上有一份燉甜品。早上有中西早餐，我這是中餐。 衞生方面，酒店房間很乾凈，整齊，該有的配置都有，智能馬桶，電動窗簾，小冰箱，空氣凈化器，徠芬吹風機，浴缸等。 熱水方面，水量很足。 不足方面，酒店地圖上沒有位置，無法導航，服務小哥未提前提供酒店位置，酒店牙刷太硬，刷牙容易出血，房間有智能化設備，未提供智能終端，不能語音控制，還是需要手動。 不太重要的點，睡眠模式不聯動排氣扇，排氣扇有燈，還是得起來關，同理是智能馬桶，智能馬桶琢磨了一下才關上燈。

Dong Li Gu Cun was the most wonderful experience we had in China, with comfortable rooms and delicious meals. The staff is highly receptive and warm, with very good tips for the trip, and attention to details. We felt in heaven, in a awesome scenic area, with the true Chinese spirit. There are many options of activities throughout the village, from craftsmanship of chopsticks, porcelain, preparation of traditional food and beverages and much more. There are also many activities for children. Special thanks to Xia, Kay and Chen, for the cultural immersion and special attention, since we were the sole foreigners in the village. We highly recommend the Li River Craftsmen in the Spring Festival if you want to have a traditional experience, and we regret to spend only 4 days there, because we would like to stay at least a whole week. We intend to return in the near future.

But what truly made our stay unforgettable were two incredible team members: Lynn and Rong. Lynn greeted us with the warmest smile and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Every recommendation she gave — from bike trails to hidden cafes — was spot on and made our experience even richer. Rong was equally amazing — thoughtful, kind, and always ready to help with the sweetest energy. You could feel they both genuinely cared. Liangsu isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave, and these two beautiful souls are a big reason why. We’re so grateful and already dreaming of coming back.
