"The homestay is located on the pedestrian street right outside Luoyi Old City. It is easier to access through the parking lot at the back, though most taxi driver will refuse to reach there as the street is pretty narrow. Although the homestay follows old Chinese theme for all rooms and furniture, everything is new and clean. We even had water filter machine. There’s a separate laundry room that you can use for free. We were lucky that our room was at the very back, far from the noisy pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who prefer staying close the to old city to take photoshoot in Chinese costumes."

"This stay was a delightful surprise! Maggie at the front desk kindly upgraded me to executive lounge access for two. The lounge itself was quiet and elegant, with a great selection of afternoon tea desserts, drinks, and evening light meals that were all delicious. My room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were consistently warm and polite, and every detail of their service was spot-on, far exceeding my expectations. It offered great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend!"

"The room was great, clean and tidy. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly. It's super convenient for visiting Luoyi Ancient City and Shizi Street. There's even a delicious breakfast stall right outside, and a subway station, making it really easy to grab a bite and get around."

"This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk service was incredibly warm, with friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge even proactively helped with my luggage. "The service was absolutely excellent . We were made exceptionally comfortable and assisted in organizing our time in the area. The owner speaks English which was super helpful. Our room was upgraded to a king bed room which was so nice. We're getting exhausted from a very full 3 weeks in China and it was nice to be comfortable. The room was spotless and included a smart toilet, and all sorts of extras like a hair dryer, tea kettle, and snacks. I appreciated the motion detector night lights when I got up in the night to use the bathroom. The location is fantastic as you are only blocks away from 2 ancient cities. We even got to watch a free aerial show in the ancient city, only because our host told us about it and how to get there. He also helped us get to the current best Peony Gardens. Didi costs were very minimal getting to the train station, to the International Peony Gardens, and returning from the Lingmen Grottoes. We enjoyed the breakfast that was prepared for us. A good meal helped energize us for the day. If we ever come back to Luoyang we would definitely want to stay here."

"Our stay at Qichi Riverside B&B in Luoyang was truly wonderful! The location is great, very close to Luoyi Ancient City, and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The B&B host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They helped us hang our clothes to dry and even lent us their phone number to order takeout 📱. Every day, there was hot coffee and milk tea available, and before we left, they even gave us a small gift. It was full of warm hospitality ❤️."

"This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel."

"Clean and tidy, the front desk service is warm and intimate. The treasure chest is equipped with good things such as health red date tea, makeup remover towels, disposable toilet pads, and a washing machine. The details are full and the stay experience is excellent."

"I stayed in Luoyang for a night over the weekend and had to switch rooms five times. Although the front desk staff were very friendly, it was truly exhausting because the facilities were just terrible. I arrived in the afternoon and was told I'd received an upgrade. However, I found that the headboard and door were on the same side, the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself, and neither the sofa nor the bed faced the TV. After sitting for a bit and feeling uncomfortable, I called the front desk to switch rooms. The new key card was delivered by a robot. The second room was the standard type I had booked, but the window was tiny, and the room was incredibly dim during the peak afternoon sun. It looked nothing like the pictures, which was very frustrating, so I went downstairs to change again. For the third room, I was upgraded to a lake-view room. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong, industrial smell, like new building materials. I initially thought it wasn't too bad, but after a short while, my nose became completely blocked. I suspect it was due to excessive formaldehyde and benzene, which triggered my rhinitis. So, I went downstairs to the front desk to switch rooms again. The fourth room was also a lake-view, and it had a damp, plant-like smell, but at least no renovation odor. I asked housekeeping to open the windows and then went out to get some food. When I returned, because the windows were open, I turned on the lights and saw a lot of bugs on the bed. When I looked up, the ceiling light strip was covered in them. Housekeeping came to look but couldn't fix it, so I had to go downstairs to switch rooms again. To be fair, this wasn't entirely the hotel's fault since I had opened the windows and turned on the lights myself, but I never expected so many bugs to fly up to the 18th floor. For the fifth room, they directly upgraded me to a suite. I guess the front desk staff were probably at their wits' end. Because the suite had sealed windows and fewer people stay in them, it still had a renovation smell. The toilet wasn't smart, and the toilet seat kept sliding around. Sigh, I really didn't want to bother anymore, so I just put up with it for the night and left the next day. I really don't recommend this hotel; it's honestly the worst Marriott I've ever stayed in. The TV doesn't even support screen mirroring. Last year, I stayed at the Mercure just across the street for less than 200 at the same time of year, and this 600-700 Marriott is not even as good as that. The value for money is extremely low."

"We had such an amazing stay at the hotel! We had a change in travel plans as our flight got cancelled, so we needed an hotel close to the airport for our long layover. We would choose this hotel again! They provide free shuttle service which is very convenient, as well as lots of amenities to relax after a long flight. everyone at reception was very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is very clean and modern, and the rooms are very spacious. They even provide an hanfu rental service, which i was very excited about since i didn't get the chance to try one yet due to our disrupted travel plans thanks again to all the staff i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Zhengzhou"
