"First off, the hotel's location is fantastic, right inside the Tonghu Grassland scenic area. The environment is superb, and transportation is very convenient, with shuttle buses available within the scenic area. The butler service was exceptionally good; they provide one-on-one service, contacting you in advance and offering excellent suggestions for your itinerary. Since we were traveling with our child this time, he participated in the evening stargazing activity, which I highly recommend! It's especially great for fostering a child's interest in astronomy. The hotel also hosted an amazing 'Ma Dao Cheng Gong' (instant success) equestrian show in the evening, which was incredibly impressive and definitely worth seeing. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent travel photography services at a reasonable price, and the photos turned out beautifully. Overall, I give this hotel a full five-star rating; everything was wonderful! We'll definitely be back!"

"Traveling with my parents during the off-peak season, the hotel upgraded us to a family room with a great view. The hotel's location is right in the city center, directly across the road from the Ningxia Museum. After breakfast, we walked over, and it was just opening, which was perfect. The experience was excellent. The hotel breakfast was good, especially the croissant with chocolate sauce – a perfect combination! Paired with freshly made beef noodles, it's definitely a super recommendation from this hotel. By chance, I also tried the hotel's executive lounge. While the food selection wasn't extensive, it was quite refined, and the red wine was excellent – a local Helan Mountain wine. I'm already planning to buy a few bottles online after returning to Beijing. All in all, it's a very good hotel."

"Stayed at this hotel for the Yinchuan Marathon and it was such a pleasant surprise! First off, the location is fantastic – close to the high-speed train station and nestled between several parks, so the surroundings are beautiful. It's also super convenient for dining and getting around. Plus, you can catch a show at the Cultural City in the evening! Secondly, the room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with smart controls throughout, and you could see the river view right from the window! Best of all, I was able to check out at 6 PM (because I booked in advance), which is an absolute blessing for marathon runners! Overall, a truly excellent experience!"

"Before departing for Yinchuan, I was a bit unsure about the room types. Upon arrival, I had a brief chat with Geng Wei, explaining my needs. She objectively detailed the differences between the two room types without just pushing the more expensive option, which was very genuine. The hotel's lamb offal soup for breakfast was surprisingly delicious, a real bonus. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay."

"I chose the Meihai Yizhi Hotel purely for its location, and it turned out to be the best decision I made during my trip to Yinchuan. It's right next to Gulou Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. It’s a three-minute walk directly to the main street, which is packed with local specialty foods, popular trendy shops, fashionable clothing, and cultural/creative products. If you want to try local snacks, you can find them right downstairs. In the evening, the Gulou night view is absolutely captivating, perfect for a stroll and taking photos. Being in the heart of the city center, the transportation is excellent; everything is close by, which lowers travel costs and saves a lot of sightseeing time. The hotel's exterior is simple and attractive, and the interior boasts a light luxury design that feels very upscale. The lobby is bright and clean, with a refreshing fragrance – you can feel the high-quality accommodation experience as soon as you walk in. The front desk staff were warm, proactive, and friendly, checking me in efficiently. They even gave accurate recommendations for local eateries frequented by locals, helping me avoid tourist traps, which was very thoughtful. The room itself has an excellent overall feel, with a modern, minimalist design, sophisticated color scheme, and an appropriate size. The natural light and views are superb. The smart room control system is fantastic, allowing me to control the air conditioning, curtains, and lighting with my voice – a must-have for anyone who loves convenience. It's easy to use and very high-tech, enhancing the stay experience. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable; no dust, no hair, no strange odors. The bedding was white, soft, and comfortable against the skin. The room was regularly ventilated, keeping the air fresh. The sleeping experience was superb, with excellent sound insulation. Even though the pedestrian street downstairs was lively and bustling, the room remained quiet and peaceful. The mattress was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, was spotlessly clean, had strong water pressure, and instant hot water. The toiletries were high-quality and pleasant to use. Housekeeping was punctual every day, with attention to detail, thorough trash removal, and full replenishment of supplies – attentive service without being intrusive. The breakfast was rich and varied, incorporating local specialty foods. The dishes were freshly prepared daily, authentic in flavor, and made with healthy ingredients. The dining area was clean and tidy. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with free parking, a self-service laundry, and luggage storage all provided free of charge, making the value for money exceptional. The location is irreplaceable, the service is thoughtful, the hardware is excellent, the hygiene is rigorous, and the value for money is outstanding – every aspect is perfected. You definitely won't regret staying here when you come to Yinchuan; I would rebook without hesitation."

"The old saying that in real estate the ”three most important things are: location, location, location” also applies to hotels! The Shenhua hotel is in the heart of historic Yinchuan just a block from the drum tower and about two and a half blocks from the bell tower. Heading the opposite direction from the drum tower you are just a short walk from a night market with a variety of casual dining options. Heading just past the drum tower you get to a lovely broad pedestrian street with great shopping and restaurants. The Shenhua is a solid, comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast bar has options to please everyone. People matter, and the hotel staff does a great job addressing any questions or special needs a client might have. (Ma Xiao did an exceptional job of making me feel welcome at the hotel and helped me with a shipping need! Employees like that make a great difference!)"

"Room: Aside from a strong smell upon entering and quite a few flies, there were no other downsides. The room environment was excellent, everything was brand new, very quiet, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! They were very supportive, and the four of us slept soundly until morning. I even asked customer service about the mattress brand! Food: Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner wasn't quite worth it, as there weren't many options. Having stayed at the Star Hotel the night before, the comparison was stark; the variety of food was less than at the Star Hotel. Breakfast was decent. Service: The service was excellent. Issues were resolved immediately, and we weren't rushed to check out. The night before, at the Star Hotel, we were out enjoying the scenic area, and as soon as noon hit, customer service called twice to rush us, even threatening to charge a half-day fee... perhaps the Star Hotel had a very high occupancy rate, but that experience wasn't great. Activities: The hotel environment was pretty good, clean, and hygienic. We checked in at 4 PM, and the next day, after sleeping in, we played sandboarding, ATVs, and dune buggy rides at the hotel. Overall, it was fun. The dune buggy wasn't as exciting as the ones in the scenic area, but the kids were very happy. The children played in the sand for three or four hours while the adults relaxed, which was very convenient! We played until 4 PM, and the hotel arranged a car to take us to the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!"

"Although the Sheraton Yinchuan has been open for 7 years, it's still very well-maintained in all aspects. The lobby is beautiful, and the room decor, linens, and towels all feel new. The cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast offers a good variety of Chinese and Western options, and the dishes ordered from the Chinese restaurant menu were delicious and reasonably priced. There's ample underground parking. The surrounding environment is also excellent. The staff are very polite and proactively greet guests. The young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic and processed our check-in quickly. He even offered us elderly guests complimentary breakfast. I also want to thank the housekeeping staff; they found an item we left in the room, contacted us, and helped ship it back home. Our stay at the Sheraton has left us with a wonderful impression of Yinchuan."

"Overall, it was decent, I guess, considering it's in the desert and conditions are limited, so you can't expect too much. Stepping out, you're literally in the sand, and any small dune is perfect for sandboarding. The restaurant offered good meals for all three sittings, with options for à la carte or hot pot buffet. While the choices weren't extensive, it was fine for a two-day stay; I felt like I'd get tired of the food if I stayed longer. Also, paid desert activities like dune buggy rides and camel riding were more expensive here than at the nearby Tonghu Grassland scenic area. If you plan on doing paid activities, I'd suggest doing them at the scenic area first, then staying in the desert to enjoy free activities like sandboarding, hiking, and stargazing. I highly recommend stargazing; it's beautiful even with the naked eye. Finally, I booked this hotel mainly for the pool and professional astronomical telescope. The desert gets too hot in the afternoon, so besides swimming, you're pretty much stuck in your room with the AC on. There weren't many activities available here, and they said all the activity materials were out of stock. Well... on our first day, the water was too dirty to swim in. They did change the water on the second day, but it took all day, and by evening, the water still hadn't reached knee-level. Our child went in to splash around for a bit and said it was cold. When I touched it, I realized the water was ice-cold, like mountain spring water. We quickly took him back for a hot shower, fearing he'd catch a cold. Then, during stargazing that night, we found out the astronomical telescope was also broken, so we could only stargaze with our naked eyes... I'd just say it was a less-than-perfect desert trip."
