Hotel is just outside the airport , very convenient . Room is okay and breakfast is also reasonable .
Had a fire drill in the evening , and it was very cold standing outside . Not much communicated and staff went through motion and then finally after 45mins, just let everyone go back in, without really explaining nor achieving much - just going through motion.
The airport was also disappointingly lacking in dinner options except for Burger King and a few bakery options
Check in early, Trip Help the hotel agrees that everything goes well
Next to the hotel is the international company. There is a bus. It is convenient to travel. The environment is quiet.
Gerne wieder
Hotel location is very good, right at the entrance of the train station, the train station has supermarkets and restaurants. There is a swimming pool and sauna on the ninth floor of the hotel, which can eliminate the tiredness of the journey. Breakfast is better, pure Western food, there is no way for students who can't accept it.
Eating and accommodation super
Also the staff are always friendly to make a lot of effort.
However, the hotel is no longer up-to-date.
For 5 stars, some shortcomings are still to be corrected.
Nevertheless, we had a nice time and we liked to come back.
Good East-West car traveling location. The hotel is clean, offers every you need for a basic stay. When booking, I was promised free outdoor parking at the parking facilities, however, when I arrived at the hotel, I was asked to pay 6 Euro parking fee/day.
Unfortunately, the hotel's best years are behind it. The cleaning ladies apparently cannot bend and stretch. And the lack of service is excused by a lack of staff. After a short rain shower and then the weather is nice again, the outdoor area is no longer used. (Statement: no staff to wipe chairs) The few staff are nevertheless mostly very friendly and accommodating. Food... well.... You should really expect something different for this price category. Wholesale market sausage and the same breakfast offer every day quickly put a damper on the desire for a great start to the day. Overall, it's a shame that you get the impression that this property is slowly going to the dogs.
Last but not least....booking a room through any online provider (when you call the hotel you are told that direct booking is not possible) leads to extreme prices. €240 for one night, with a breakfast that really leaves a lot to be desired, is ultimately just sad.
The service was in a effort at check-in, but because of poor German knowledge it was insufficient. It is very bad if you get a yes to a question as a answer, but it is not exactly the fact. Unfortunately, we did not receive any clarifying answer from the German staff on a further request.
And 35,- € or even 30,- € with discount are inappropriate for the evening buffet, as some foods have very poor quality.
The staff was very friendly and understanding and allowed free-of-charge late check-out. The room had a good heating/cooling system but no kettle. Very satisfied overall.
The forest hotel is located directly on/in the forest. Beautiful modern rooms, beds i.O. , mattresses very firm, therefore needs habitual. Bath/Douche flat and very modern.
A buffet for €25 is offered in the evening, which was also in order. Selection was abundant.
All in all, the forest hotel is recommendable.

KKwanGreat last minute booking, close to airport but best to arrange transfer from airport. Public transport is alright you can make it there but not the easiest with lots of luggage or bad weather. Check in and out was super simple and easy. Room and everything was great, no do not disturb sign tho so had to verbally tell staff in the morning not to come in. Again transport around is close and alright but not good in bad weather to walk.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and clean! I liked it much, located very near to BER airport. The breakfast is merged in the lobby, not so easy to find a seat in the busy time. But the breakfast choices are ok.
It’s to far to walk to the airport, but you may either use the public bus in front of the hotel, which is cheap and convenient or scan a code at the hotel registration and book for the hotel bus. Unfortunately, the public bus goes only once every hour.
TThomas SuzhouThis is new hotel, conveniently located very close to the central train station in Potsdam. Take the exit to Friedrich-Engels-Straße, turn right and you already see the new nice looking building about 300 m away on the other side of the street ”Lange Brücke” (long bridge). The reception and breakfast area is on the first floor (Erdgeschoss), well lighted with large windows. Everything looks new, nice and neat. (No worries, no smell at all from construction materials or new furniture, also not in the corridors or in my room). The standard room I booked is small with minimalistic furniture, but I like it simple anyway. The tiles in the bathroom are real cool and nice looking, so is the carpet and color arrangement in the floors.
The staff was friendly, but you need to be a bit patient, as several if them are new and still being trained on the software to check in. 😊
No doubt, next trip to Potsdam I will chose the same hotel.
LLucien P. FantkeFantastic location. Friendly service. Good breakfast. But: internet super slow if working at all. No flexibility in bike rental. Staff tried to be helpful but wasn’t very knowledgeable in certain areas. Free welcome apples were a nice touch. Room itself could have been cleaner. Broken outside window. Tv not properly working due to internet issues. Water wasn’t refilled. Had to ask for refill during our 3 day stay (even we booked the luxury suite) especially on a Sunday when all shops are closed that isn’t very cool. Staff was very friendly about it but I would prefer service that doesn’t wait for me to ask for things.
Ppeace.joy.hope.love.faith.eatsJust right outside airport. Great location to catch a flight from. Breakfast is basic. Quick machine self check in on my own. There was super long queue waiting for the counter. Big room and ample space for one. Bathroom has a glass panel where you can look in from the room, which is weird. Not that it matters for a solo traveller. I am disappointed that my double bed room is actually two single beds pushed together side by side (see photo). Was happy until I laid down and discovered the divide.

JJliairenaoThe self-service check-in was confusing, mainly because Ctrip did not send the check-in code. Fortunately, the remedy was timely and I did not have to wait too long. It was still a distance from the airport, which was somewhat inconvenient to catch the plane. The room was not big, but it was well-equipped. The three beds were clearly arranged. It was also a good experience.
SStephen0526very good! The hotel is very clean! I will stay with my parents next time. Foreign hotels are like this. They are cheap but very clean and nice! Good quality hotel
