Everything was great, good location, excellent value for money. It's located across from the river where Ukai (cormorant fishing) takes place, about a 15-minute walk from the boarding point. The breakfast was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was very happy with my experience. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional, always making me feel welcome. The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautiful, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. One of the highlights was the excellent facilities. I especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the three onsen baths. There was a lovely open-air rotenburo on the first floor, another onsen on the third floor, and a beautiful panoramic onsen on the ninth floor with an amazing view. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable vacation.

However, the hotel room is very clean, big and beautiful. Hotel staffs r friendly helpful and we have a smooth communication as all of them can speak English. Overall I love this place Takayama and I enjoyed staying in this hotel too 💕

One of the best I have experienced with ryokan staying. I love a small hotel/inn as it is not crowded. This place answers my expectations. Its location is a bit far off but it is not an issue. It is accessible by public bus from Takayama. Each room has private onsen. It also has 2 outdoor, private onsen on first-come-first-serve basis. There are also public baths for male and female. Room was in good condition. Bathroom is a bit small for me. Only complaint I would have was foot step noise from the room on upper floor. Very annoyed. Food was great. I stayed 2 nights, the hotel provided 2 different types of food - appreciated. Highway recommended.

The hotel locate near JR station. You can walk 6-10 mins to hotel or get the hotel shuttle bus. But this hotel far from old town and morning market. You have to get hotel shuttle bus but shuttle bus to Jinya market only service in the morning. After that you have to get shuttle bus to JR station then walk to old town. The Izakaya restaurant in hotel is delicious. You don’t need to go outside. You can enjoy onsen and then dinner in the hotel. The vending machine in this hotel don’t have any beer but there are many kind of beer, sake, whiskey in souvenir shop but it close 10 pm.. So if you want to buy more after that, you need to go to 7-11 that locate the opposite of the hotel. Hotel staffs are friendly and good service. I’m very appreciate that.

Great stay overall, one of their baths was under renovation when I visited, which is a bummer. This is one of the places where the facilities age like fine wine. You can feel that it's dated but extremely well maintained, which I appreciate a lot. Breakfast was also amazing, there were a ton of options. The place is great for families and couples wanting to relax for a night or two.

The staff were very friendly, the hot spring area was spacious with an infinity pool, and the view was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean, the amenities were all of high quality, and the view from the window was beautiful!
