The room is very comfortable, quiet, spacious and bright. The bed is very comfortable. I had a deep sleep all night and woke up naturally the next day. The hotel is in a good location. It takes more than ten minutes to walk from the Gottingen Railway Station. The breakfast is a typical German breakfast, which Chinese people may not be used to.
You can store your luggage at the front desk for free and pick it up after shopping. Thank you for the patient, meticulous and thoughtful service of the front desk staff and manager!
The only episode is that Ctrip is an agent platform. When checking out, it took some time to communicate with Ctrip platform and the hotel for some reason about the room bill. The receipt printed by the front desk shows that the twin room is more than 60 euros a night. I don’t know if I can contact the hotel directly to book, which will be cheaper.
The accommodation is very good, clean, carpeted, the place to eat on the first floor is also very good, not far from the subway station aegidientplatz. Next to it is the Lower Saxony Museum, very interesting
Hotel very well located, close to the center and at the entrance to the city.
Very good check-in and check-up service.
Restaurant does not have room service and has few dinner options. On the other hand, the breakfast is excellent and very varied.
Good sized and practical room.
The only defect: the shower box does not cover the splashes of water and floods the entire bathroom floor.
Yes, I recommend considering this hotel for your stay in Wolfsbourg.
We were as a couple looking for a central hotel for a short holiday in town. After longer search and comparison on the Internet, our choice was to the Widukin Hotel.
We were not disappointed and our expectations were partly overcome. The hotel is in the centre and everything views are in pedestrian range. Also there is a deep garage at a moderate price. There are no long-term parking spaces in the city centre, except for a little distance from the parking houses. Restaurants are numerous in the surrounding area and offer something for every taste and bag. The breakfast is rich and of good quality.
The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and recently well-realized.
Finally, it should be noted that bicycles can be safely placed in the deep garage.
We would like to continue to recommend the hotel and would choose it again.
I rushed to Hannover to see the Christmas market in the evening before Christmas, and visited the palace garden (very grand, spring will be more beautiful) and the new city hall the next day. The hotel is in the Hannover Pavilion area, parking is very convenient, health is good, breakfast is also rich. Very cost-effective hotel.
The best holiday inn, beautifully decorated, very new, the room is large, the waiter is very warm, there is a parking lot, 19 euros 24 hours, very empty at noon, very full at night. However, there is also a large parking lot opposite, 15 euros 24 hours
GGuest UserThis is a rather new hotel that was built at the former location of vertinary medicine of the Georg august university. The link to biological sciences is further illustrated by the name of the bar: herbarium bar. The later is rather professionally run as long as the main bar keeper is not busy sharing recipes with his friend. The rooms are well designed and practical but arguably the quality of the design does not hold the highest expectations. The location is excellent but the rooms are quite despite the closeness to the main train station. As many hotels in the post COVID-19 phase, some of the you her staff require further training. In summary still one of the best hotels in the center of goettingen.
GGordonThis is literally walking distance from the show ground. Free parking and they awarded me for not needing the house keeping service. The best part is, the rooms were clean AND the parking was free. I have gotten used to Hannover now and I really like this hotel. Every morning I enjoy the walk to the show grounds and walk back. It's perfect.
CCocoLocoIt's a nice little bed and breakfast. It's old, and it shows in certain amnesties like no socket in the bathroom. Which means you've to blow dry your hair in the sleeping room. The beds are old, too. 😅 However, the rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately, the internet didn't work for me, at all. You are only a 3 minute walk away from a supermarket, and there are several restaurants around. The bakery across the street is amazing and delicious.
And the breakfast at the b&b is typical for Germans. I really loved the hot boiled eggs. They were fresh and still hot. The breakfast is plenty!
You can't do anything wrong for the price!
TThe Traveler CoupleMe and my boyfriend just stayed here for one day and we checked in late. The place is amazing because you are around every thing in the Hildersheim. Worth of your time and money ❤️ By the way breakfast selection is nice, I like it. ❤️ But regardimg the Hildersheim I think it's really beautiful in summer time but it was a nice place for winter because the market is just near the hotel. And regarding the parking fee it would be free if you check-in to them youjust need to tell it to the receptionist. The hotel itself is an old structure but comes with an elegant feeling.
AAnonymous UserGood location near the station
Christmas Market is close.
The person at the front desk is good with multilinguality
However, the cleaning staff seems to be able to speak only German and Italy, and it feels a little troublesome to be able to speak in a strong tone in German though it says that it doesn't know the language
Recommended for those who stay here and go out most of the day
AagtukEasy walking distance from the train station,Had to wait ages for checking in only one member of staff at first.
Website showed restaurant at the hotel to have dinner but on arriving we were told there was no restaurant even though it showed opening times on the website. So it was a fair walk to find dinner.
Generally the room was good and would stay again.
GGuest UserThere will be no private bathroom and elevator. My room has odd smell (from paint smell?). The public facilities are okay clean.
One of the shower didn’t work properly and the light automatically turned themselves off quickly. I had to wave my hands multiple times directly under the detector when I was showering.
Location is not convenient. I arrived during weekend and I can’t find any supermarket still open nearby. I had to go back to hbf eventually. But if you prepare well it is okay.
Overall it is acceptable.
OOlgaThat was amazing! Our room was perfect: clean, warm with view in the cosiest yard of the hotel!!! Amazing! We had tea and coffee and a kettle. A lot of light there!!!
Friendly people at the reception! Delicious breakfast!!! If you hesitate whether you need breakfast there, include it!!! That was soooo good! There were variety of cheese, pastries, sausages, fruit, beverages!!!
The hotel is 15 minutes from the station and right next to the Christmas market!!!
I hope I’ll come there one more time!
MMichael ClaußI have only stayed once. The reception was very friendly. It was nice that I was able to check in relatively late in the evening.
The room was very well maintained: clean and equipped with the necessary things. The mattress was a bit too soft for me, but that didn't bother me for an overnight stay.
The check-out was also quick and uncomplicated. I enjoyed my stay.
