Whenever I visit Gu'an, I always choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the surrounding area is fantastic with plenty of dining and shopping options. Central Park is just across the street, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner – it's incredibly relaxing. The only downside this time of year is the abundance of poplar catkins, which can be quite annoying.

This is by far the most recommended hotel within Thaiwoo Ski Town. It's super convenient to drive straight into the underground garage. The rooms are very spacious, and the sofa bed can be pulled out to sleep an extra person, making it very family- and kid-friendly. There's a small balcony where you can enjoy tea and sunbathe, with a lovely, refreshing breeze. The hotel has its own activity space downstairs, offering various small programs daily, perfect for letting the kids run around freely. The hotel also has its own restaurant, and the buffet dinner is excellent and very reasonably priced when they have promotions. Plus, there's a McDonald's and other restaurants within the hotel building, so dining is very convenient. The hotel isn't far from the town's main commercial street, within walking distance, and there's also a free shuttle bus. We visited in late August, and it was an amazing escape from the summer heat; it would be even more convenient for skiing in winter. The hotel service was excellent; upon check-in, the front desk proactively informed me about all the packages available with my room. It's a hotel worth revisiting and highly recommending! What really stood out was the excellent service, especially from the front desk staff, who were so warm and proactive they made me feel right at home. I was particularly touched when they upgraded my room. There are plenty of great food options nearby, with a night market just downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the service was attentive and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the Mountain Resort!

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! The staff were professional and kind, making the service experience excellent. They patiently answered all questions without any hint of impatience, and even helped us with a late check-out. Issues were resolved very quickly, and we received complimentary welcome fruit. The facilities are very new and don't feel old-fashioned; they're the best among hotels in the same price range. I highly recommend experiencing Wuzhou! The guest rooms are spacious with fantastic views from the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and luxury amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and a scenic bathtub are all included. The breakfast selection is rich, and the local Ban Mian noodles taste authentic. Service response is very fast, and the robot delivery is super convenient. The environment is quiet and upscale, offering much better value for money than other hotels in the same price bracket – highly recommended! The ceiling-to-sky heated swimming pool is the biggest highlight! The water is clear and clean, the space is open, and the temperature is just right. It's free for guests, making it incredibly relaxing and great for photos.

An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Five stars go to Wendy, the housekeeper at Nuo'an Yuanjin Hotel! I've been to Aranya many times, and this stay at Nuo'an Yuanjin exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to Wendy's professional and meticulous service. Before we even arrived, Wendy proactively shared important information about entering the park and luggage transportation arrangements. Knowing we had large luggage, she informed us of the shuttle pick-up and drop-off points in advance. During check-in, she patiently explained all the hotel's amenities and services, clarifying anything we didn't understand. During our stay, we unexpectedly changed our plans and wanted to inquire about luggage storage and late check-out. Wendy patiently helped us check room availability and offered sound advice. When we wanted to find a quiet walking path in the park, she used her experience to plan a route for us, avoiding crowded areas. She was also very quick to respond to our daily requests for extra bottled water, disposable amenities, etc. I could tell she was very familiar with the entire Aranya park, having all sorts of information at her fingertips, and communicated with genuine warmth and friendliness. The room was well-maintained and clean, and the hotel overall was quiet and elegant. When traveling, a reliable and helpful housekeeper can save you countless troubles. Next time I visit Aranya, Nuo'an Yuanjin will be my first choice, and I'll specifically request Wendy as my housekeeper!

This stay truly exceeded all expectations. As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.

Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a variety of restaurants right outside the back door. During my stay, I enjoyed Korean BBQ, regular BBQ, hot pot, and iron pot stew – all delicious! The only minor downsides were the limited vegetable selection and prices being a bit higher than Beijing, but that's typical for mountain areas. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive: air conditioning, hot water, and soundproofing were all perfect. The pool, gym, and reading room were great spots to pass the time on rainy days. The pool has separate sections for adults and children, and the water isn't too deep. If you go, make sure to bring all your gear! Cons: The breakfast menu remained largely the same for the entire week. The Western options were decent, but the Chinese breakfast was too monotonous. Lunch and dinner were essentially just rebranded breakfast items. Laundry requires purchasing tokens at the front desk, and washing and drying are charged separately at 50 yuan each. Suggestions: Without significantly increasing costs, the menu could definitely be diversified. Given the number of seniors with children staying at the hotel, easy-to-store and transport vegetables like bean sprouts, shredded potatoes, tofu, and tomato with egg could be rotated more often. The sauces for noodles and the porridge options could also be varied. Please, please don't serve the fruits and drinks so cold – my stomach can't handle it!

Facilities: Very comprehensive, they even have a washing machine and dryer, and the front desk helped with the drying! Hygiene: Very clean Environment: There are small and large supermarkets nearby, and a huge one not far away. We even caught a supermarket sale. Service: Warm and thoughtful
