Aryaduta Lippo Village

Where do I begin? The entrance to the hotel is impressive—gleaming, well-maintained reception areas and spotless toilets, truly reflecting the 4.5-star rating. The reception staff were excellent—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely warm in their service. The facilities themselves were solid, offering a well-equipped gym, engaging fitness classes, a decent-sized pool, and reasonably priced food and drinks. Overall, the amenities were good, and I had no complaints on that front. However, an extra fold-out bed was an added cost (about half the price of the room), though they did offer a discount on it. Unfortunately, things took a turn when we saw the room. This was nowhere near a 4-star standard—more like a 2-star experience. While it's cheaper compared to places I stay in Australia, it was still twice the price of accommodations nearby, which makes it feel overpriced for what it is. The lady at reception could only offer us two room options, both of which were in poor condition, so we opted for the lesser of two evils. This was a disappointment in terms of service. The room itself had a number of issues. The hot water barely worked—either scalding hot or ice cold, with no middle ground. The room was dirty, with visible damage such as switches hanging off the walls, poor patch-up jobs, and mold on the ceiling. It was simply unpleasant, as you can see in the photos. This is supposedly one of the best properties in the area, but it felt like they have a monopoly here, given the lack of competition nearby. The air conditioning unit made a horrible noise and had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the room was tired and in desperate need of renovation. One last thing to note: if you're traveling with children, be cautious when it rains—the tiles at the entrance get incredibly slippery. Would I recommend this resort? Based on the room quality and the price, unfortunately, I can't recommend it. I won’t be returning in the future.

Zest Hotel Airport Jakarta
8.4/5607 Reviews
This is my second time staying at Zest Hotel for an overnight transit in Jakarta, will surely choose it again for transit because: 1. They offer free airport shuttle service, both pick up and drop off. The hotel is around 10- 15 mins away from the airport, depends on which Terminal you arrive 2. Room is not big but it's clean. However, my 2nd time here got a little disappointment - there's a towel in the bathroom with cigarette smell :/ 3. They provide toothbrush/tooth paste, shower gel, shampoo, hangers, free wifi, water (also has water dispenser in the corridor), enough for short stay transit 4. Buffet breakfast - well... don't expect too much because it's only Indonesian dishes plus bread. No eggs :(( Also not many choices but with this cheap room price, am totally fine with it! The Indonesian burbur (rice porridge) is very tasty, I had 2 big bowls!! 5. There are some eateries/ cafes and Alfamart ( or Indomaret or 7-11... can't remember) just outside the hotel, very convenient. 6. Zest Hotel is situated next to Swiss Belhotel Airport Jakarta, they belong to the same hotel group so the free shuttle bus also includes the guests from Swiss Belhotel. We went over to Swiss Belhotel's lobby restaurant for dinner, very good food and service. They offered us super yummy tempe chips with our drinks :)) Just a friendly reminder: if you are going to Terminal 3, it might take a bit more time for your airport drop off as they need to drop guests to T1 and T2 first (if any) .My experience was it took me 30 mins to arrive T3 from the moment I get on the shuttle. Anyway, I will still choose Zest Hotel as my transit hotel and recommend it, you got more than what you pay for!
Hotel Santika Premiere Ice - BSD City

The room was spacious and i personally liked the washroom bcos of the rain shower. Water pressure was strong. The bed was comfy and kudos for variety of channels on the tv. The breakfast was so good i spent almost 2 hours enjoying the food while chatting with my sister. The main highlight for me was the freshly baked croissant and the traditional indonesian rice (i forgot the name but it has small chunks of meat in the rice). The customer service was also great, everyone was friendly and smiley. Overall i enjoyed my stay at santika ice bsd and would recommend it to other people :)
Tokyo Riverside Apartment @ Pik 2

The room type is pretty good, and the hygiene is acceptable. The only problem is that you need to get the key from the box downstairs. Overall, it is pretty good, and the price-performance ratio is okay. It is relatively convenient to eat, drink and shop, and there is a business district downstairs.

Jakarta Airport Hotel

The hotel was easy to find and convenient to check in, even at 1 am. Though it was an airport, the sounds of flights didn't bother us. Slight ding on cleanliness because our pillows did have a musky smell, perhaps from smoking before. Overall, a great place to stay the night for a layover and super convenient to T2 flights the next day. Breakfast was mostly western with fried rice as well. Great drinks, coffee was ok (Denny's coffee pot warmer style) for an included breakfast. Would stay again.
Anara Airport Hotel

The hotel is average. It's convenient to spend a night between flights, but it is a little hard to find the entrance from outside of the airport. The room wasn't very clean. I saw dust, small pieces of dirt, spiderweb on the ceiling, old napkin ball tossed at the back of the wardrobe. The curtains cover the window, except they don't connect to the wall tightly enough and always allow a ***** of light to shine through. The air conditioning panel on the wall shines a bright green light at you at night (a common problem in hotels). The AC itself is quite loud, and you need it turned on at all times, otherwise the room becomes too hot. Another source of noise was the room ACROSS the hallway. I could hear what was going on there, in part thanks to my room door not being able to be shut tightly. In fact, all the doors (bathroom door and shower door) don't shut tightly and leave a few cm gap when closed. The towels are small, old, hard and smell unpleasantly. I could also hear the TV (or whatever else) from another room for several hours during the night, which distracted me from sleep. Everything in the restaurant was unclean as well. The floor, the tables, utensils and plates. The breakfast was average, and, funnily, the coffee smelled like dirt too. The only positive impression was made by the staff. They were very polite and professional, helped me with directions and were really nice to talk to. P.S. where am I supposed to put the hand soap after opening it?
