We had such an amazing stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan! The staff were absolutely incredible—so warm, cheerful and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived. The sweetest surprise was the beautiful birthday room décor for my daughter; it made her feel so special and created a memory we’ll never forget! The hotel was sparkling clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast!), and the beachfront location in Lagoi Bay was just perfect for a fun and relaxing getaway. With fantastic service, great vibes and such thoughtful touches, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations—we can’t wait to come back!
Stayed for two nights over the weekend. From the front desk to housekeeping, to the ushers at the breakfast hall, and the concierge and doorman, they were all very friendly. They were full of smiles and never failed to greet. Sadly, only on one occasion at the JAMU booth was the staff really unfriendly. Such a contrast in comparison to the rest of the staff whom I came across. I didn't get her name, but she was dressed in a black uniform and had shoulder-length hair. She was manning the JAMU counter on Sunday, November 16, 2025. She seemed uninterested in entertaining us when asked about the JAMU concoction. When I requested a cup of SUSU JAHE, she handed me a pack instead of asking if I would like to have it there or not. It was only when I told her I would like a drink of SUSU JAHE in a takeaway cup and not a pack of the mix that she made one for me. After preparing the drink, she left it at the counter without saying a single word and left. A petite lady in a kebaya top, who was smiley and friendly, came to man the counter and attended to us.
Anyway, I would like to express my gratitude to the staffs for their friendly and cheerful demeanor. Hope they continue to maintain their positive attitude.
Great stay at Oakwood Batam! The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities especially the pool and gym were excellent. Plus, the location is super convenient, right opposite Grand Batam Mall. Highly recommend!
Clean room and toilet.
Water pressure is good. Air-conditioning is okay but at night is abit stuffy. Air-con seems to be controlled but still acceptable..
Bed is comfy and there is 2 pillows. Cons is that
grabfood driver is not allowed to enter. They have to park at the guard house and walk in or we have to walk out..hope they can allow them to come in nearer to the main entrance.
Will stay here again.
One of the longest standing 5 star hotel in Batam.
View is of greenery - facing the golf course. Gorgeous.
Hotel was running full, friendly reception officer Finy, offered me a deluxe room with twin beds, balcony golf course view. My original booking was standard room king bed.
Shuttle buses at certain timings to Grand Batam
Mall and Nagoya Hill.
Gym was well equipped.
I saw the Sauna and yoga area at level 10
One thing to note- the sun is overhead in the morning.
So the pool does not get sun as it is blocked by hotel building( until around 1015am) . In the afternoon there is chance of sun.
The area where the cafe is gets morning sun.
Cafe Luminal next to the hotel served coffe roast from starbucks .not a major starbucks coffee fan so I had watermelon juice instead.
Cafe’s environment was great for remote working as there were many charge points.
Overall a pleasant stay.
Hotel is new and very clean with basic amenities. I like the room with spacious shelves that we could put our luggage bags. A lot of varieties for breakfast, and normally with quite a number of local dishes. Overall the egg station and bread are those i preferred since some food was not up to standards. Staff are courteous, pleasant and helpful when i asked for recommendation. Lobby has a huge sitting area for meeting up with friends and right at the end, a small lounge which serves drinks. The only inconvenient part is the swimming pool - it is not in the same building and cannot reach with a connecting lift. Swimmers has to move out of the hotel to go to the next building, move to level 6 and there's the swimming pool. There are changing rooms available. Perhaps the hotel is new, our taxi driver could not locate the hotel. As there are a few Harris properties in Batam, best to inform taxi driver including address. Btw, getting Grab to any other shopping malls are convenient and low cost. There are plenty of eaterie around. Within minutes walk, there are minimarts, cafe, food court, restaurant, massage parlours, skincare and hair salon! These are 2-3 storey high building. Nagoya Hill is the nearest shopping mall which is about 10-15 minutes walk.
There is a school nearby so you could hear some noise when they are conducting activities.
Also on-going construction nearby, can't really hear from room, so it doesn't bother us.
Over all a great stay!
Hotel stay was good, booked a Family room. Services were excellent and the location was ideal, all within walking distance. We had a very good sleep. My 2nd time staying here and the breakfast buffet has since improved with a wider spread.
Keep up the good work!
Worth mentioning is that we requested 3 single beds, although 1st night it was a full house, 2nd day morning they really prepared it for us. But since we slept well, we declined the good offer. Thumbs up!

1. Well-equipped apartment. Safe, ironing equipment, umbrella, beach bag, crockery, cutleries, pot and pan and best of all – extremely comfortable bed and pillows and new air-conditioners!
2. Clean and modern interior. A few small flying insects that got into the room (inevitable due to the surrounding garden/forests and opening of doors) but thankfully, didn’t encounter any mosquitoes or ants in the apartment – what a relief! Fogging in the common areas is done twice a week – Tues and Thur late nights. Didn’t detect any unpleasant drainage smell in the toilet/shower so I’m perfectly happy with my assigned Queen Suite apartment!
3. Balcony views:
(i) Block 1 is beach front apartments with full sea view
(ii) Block 2 is made up of two sections: one section faces the Garden and the other section faces the Car-park
(iii) Blocks 3 and 4 have either (i) Garden view - with partial sea view on highest floor) OR, (ii) Forest view – with partial sea view too on highest floor).
(iv) Block 5 on the top floors have distant sea view (this block is on a slope and furthest from the reception and pool)
4. Friendly staff. My requests were attended to swiftly.
5. Private beach (shared among the 3 resorts there) is reasonably clean with fairly clear sea (there’re jelly fish warning signages).
6. Pool at Cassia is smaller but newer and cleaner than at Angsana. A new pool bar construction is currently being carried out in front of Cassia’s pool and the hoarding blocks the beautiful sea view from the infinity pool until mid Nov – what a pity!
7. Adequate breakfast spread but houseflies and birds were spotted in the restaurant – made me worry about the hygiene level
8. Various English movie channels but screen resolution was poor and images often lagged for a few seconds – makes the movie watching experience tiresome and annoying. Only the International news and Singapore channels did not suffer from lags/poor image quality
9. Some of the building and lift direction signs in the different apartment blocks are puzzling and confusing – the signs are probably very clear ONLY to the people who planned/designed them - certainly NOT easily understood by foreign guests! You need to get into the correct lifts in different buildings to reach the blocks furthest from the reception (to avoid climbing any stairs or slopes eg blocks 4 and 5). I only figured out the various sheltered linkways/correct lifts after a few trial and errors, lol!
10. Credit card is needed for room deposit during check in even if room cost was already paid in advance during online booking: 4 Million Indonesian Rupiah per apartment per night
There are smoking rooms available for smokers on the top floor of hotel . Rooms are clean. The hotel is next to the Batam city center pier, so it’s very convenient. Breakfast is delicious and there are many type of food to choose. The swimming pool is clean. It’s nice experience to stay here.
Excellent hotel. Staffs are welcoming, warm and polite. Cleanliness is impeccable. Excellent location - <5 mins walk to 2 malls (grand batam mall, city square mall) and, massages shop. Just beside the hotel is A2 food court. At night, there's a row of food stalls at roadside of the hotel. Opposite the hotel there's a convenience shop and many restaurants, penuin wet market is there as well. Breakfast is rich in variety from western to local Indonesian, including an Indomee stall.
Overall, it's a 10/10 recommendation!

AAnonymous UserA first timer visiting Montigo Resorts. Very near to Ferry Terminal. There’s complimentary bus service to the resort. Once arrive at the resort, the staff will welcome the guests to the resort. They will help to get your passports to check in while having u sitting at the comfortable sofa.
Once the room is ready, they will arrange buggy to send u to the room. The room is big! (Was given a free upgrade, Thank You!)
The room is a little “old” and a little rundown with dirtied white walls surface on the room. The bed n pillows are too soft. Their room swimming pool has a nice sea view, but the water does not seem to be clean enough as both I and partner develop mild rashes or eczema after a swim. The aircon in the rooms also seem old and it had a hard time trying to cool the room. I had to on the fan. They probably need to refurbish the entire resort to give it a fresh look.
Breakfast varieties are not much. Not all the food are nice IMO.
Do note that this resort is about 40-50min away from City Centre. U can take a grab around 132,000 to 139,000.
However, I must give a 5 star to the service that all the staff had rendered. A whatsapp msg to call for buggy and never once they failed me. They always have a smile at your request. I like their service. 👍
I hope the next time I visit this resort, the resort will have a fresh look. Look forward to their awesome customer service the next time i visit this resort. Cheers :)
TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining.
The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!
PPatsylimService is top notch, food is delicious. Good spread for breakfast. Staff are very friendly and professional, extremely helpful especially when we are travelling with elderly. We had an in tent bbq which is a nice experience dining under the stars. Will definitely return again for a nice relaxing stay in future.
GGuest UserJust be aware of that you will need to pay ALOT more coming here. The hotel is a part of gigantic resorts and shares amenities with other hotels that we were not aware. That means: kids clubs, bars and restaurant are all far that you need to take a shuttle only available every 30m. They charge extra for everything: buggy is for rent only, kids clubs is charged by hours, bowling voucher is supposed to be free but that voucher is only for one person and you need to pay for shoes, socks your friends. Even Ping Pong table needs to pay. Not recommended and don’t think we will come back
DDean StantonInstantly one of my new favourite hotels in Batam.
Convenient location in Kampung Pelita area, opposite Aston Hotel and Residences and 9 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill Mall, 20 minutes walk maximum to GoGo Supermarket in Bengkong. Amazing place nearby, Kobie Coffee and Ruma Pelita - easily a 5/5 café and cultural / creative experience.
Staff are lovely, gracious, efficient, with excellent language skills. Professional but friendly and welcoming.
Public areas are modern, fresh, tranquil and very well maintained. Lots of thoughtful little touches throughout.
Standard rooms are compact but well appointed, very clean, comfortable. Nice linens. Good sleep. But don't expect any views from the windows.
Like the pool area. Breakfast buffet is highly recommended.
KKyaw SwaWe went on a Saturday and it was fully booked. We didn’t get a King size bed that we reserved. Breakfast the next day was also a bit chaotic, as the hotel struggled to seat guests at the same time. We had to wait outside for a while before we got a table.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were standard. Rooms were clean and nice.
The construction work in front of the hotel somewhat obstructed our view of the sea, which was 10 minutes away from the hotel. We could see the sea from our sea view room, but the view wasn’t that nice.
Sidenote: Did not enjoy the Kelong seafood restaurant. The food was terrible.

VVincent GiangI had a great two-night stay at Alltrue. The staff were friendly though not of them can speak English. The location was peaceful, and the room was spacious and clean. Facilities like the spa, gym, and sauna were excellent, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of delicious options. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserCame here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. We will definitely be back!
GGuest UserWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.
Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.
