"A bit overrated hotel to be honest. Opposite Casa Port station BUT trains from and too the Airport, now ONLY go from Casa Voyageurs. That has just changed just this week. Service at Reception left alot to be desired. One man was particularly unfriendly to several arriving customers. The rooms are ok but the sink/shower area is far too dark, hopeless for shaving etc. No floot mat for the shower, so can be slippery. Bed is ok. Breakfast? A chaotic layout to be honest, one person actually complained too, then 3 staff came out, started talking to each other, blocking new arrivals! No labels for Jam, you had SIX pots all looking the same!! I could go on but really for such a hotel chain, they should really get their act together. IF you need to stay at /near Casa Port, there is also the Novotel next door, a bit more expensive but probably better."

"A beautiful hotel, well designed and well placed to get to the main places to visit in Casablanca. The staff on reception and the concierge were delightful, smiley and cheerful always- we really appreciated it. The dining area staff we encountered were not as cheery or helpful. The breakfast was mediocre, a meagre selection and not appealing. We didn’t like the fact that we had to wait to be served drinks in the morning, hot water, tea and coffee should be on tap for multiple visits during breakfast. The person behind the drinks bar was slow to take and make the orders and not particularly helpful- some cafetières or tea and coffee dispensers would remedy this. The room itself had a few cosmetic imperfections and could do with a deep clean, including the walls. We were surprised to see a lack of bidet showers in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and not in keeping with the culture we were expecting. Finally, the water went off a couple of times and the lifts were not in working on one occasion, both were rectified fairly quickly, but it was an inconvenience as we were not able to complete our morning ablutions."

"My Moroccon friend I studied my phd with in Ireland (my nationality) drove me from Cas airport to the hotel & helped me with my bags to my room & ordered me a bottle of wine from the bar (about the same price as the deluxe room), saying welcome to my beautiful country! The bar staff took the wine off my friend, a GP, and said ”I know this is how you earn your bread and you will be paid but we don't accept this here”. I.e. The receptionist accused my friend of being a **********. The bar man was disgusted by the comment. Having paid, I didn't stay at the hotel and checked out the next day. The receptionist should say... We don't accept non-customers going to customers rooms, not accuse another Moroccon woman of being a ****** (my conservative Muslim friend was mortified)"

"We chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the exhibition. Although, personally, I would have preferred a different area, one that felt newer and cleaner. Overall, for the price, the hotel isn't bad. More details: **Pros:** Delicious breakfasts, a beautiful lobby, a comfortable bed, and a sufficiently cozy and spacious room, even if it felt a little dated and dusty. The room also had an iron, kettle, and safe. There's a good supermarket, currency exchange offices, and a tram stop nearby. **Cons:** There's a major construction site directly across the street – they're dismantling a stadium, and work starts at 7:30 AM. I asked reception to refill my shower gel, but it was never done. The dust isn't wiped down, and they sometimes forget to restock the water. The bathroom is very dark, even with the window open. There's no proper desk for working on a computer, just a nightstand next to the bed."

"The location was good, very easy to reach by bus. The beach isnt very clean though. The AC didnt always work. It got quiet hot at night time but cold in the morning. Same with the shower, it took a while to get warm water and it didnt last for long. There were also quiet a fee ants in tht bathroom area. There are no soundproof walls - whenever someone from the next room moved, it felt like this person would be in my room. All in all this hotel has passed its best years."

"The price is very reasonable for what you get. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient, it's in the Medina but easy to find and close to the main road. It's within walking distance to Casa Port Station, La Sqala, Rick's Café, and Mohammed V Square, and not far from Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche. There is no air conditioning, but I visited in winter so it was not a problem. I was provided with a simple heater, and there was hot water available. Some rooms have balconies. The female staff member was very friendly, she even offered me the option of having a room with a better view (though it was on a higher floor) or staying on a lower level since there's no lift, only stairs. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace that guests can access to enjoy the view. Overall, it's a good choice if you're looking for an affordable and well-located stay in Casablanca."

"The whole breakfast arrangement here was hopeless.The breakfast room was not set up, there was little food, It was of poor quailty, The few staff that were there were all focus on empty VIP room not for normal guests.Simple request were met with curt responses. No cleaning table, No forks, No Tissue, The binding tape is still on the rock melon skin. Wait a half hour to get juice. Only 4 table less 10 people at that time. The wall mounted AC controls do nothing and the instructions on the panel dont help. The real AC control panel is near the ceiling! The hotel was a 5 min walk to corniche and Mosque."

"The hotel is luxurious and deserves its rating, but I have a major concern that's frankly shameful and scandalous. For a hotel of this size and luxury in a Muslim country like the Kingdom of Morocco, it's an absolute disgrace that prayer mats are not provided in the rooms. This is truly scandalous and a betrayal of Moroccan identity, to be honest. You provide alcohol and gambling, and yet you can't provide prayer mats?!"

My stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Accor luxury hotel. Service was unprofessional from check-in, breakfast quality and hygiene were poor, and even simple orders took far too long. Most seriously, personal belongings were taken from my room, and the hotel failed to conduct any proper investigation or provide follow-up despite multiple complaints. Overall, poor management and serious security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Barceló in a king-bed room. Overall, everything was good, and the room was well equipped with most of the amenities you need. The only missing items were toothbrushes and slippers. However, there wasn’t much variety at breakfast—very limited choices. For a hotel rated five stars on Booking and TripAdvisor, I expected a much better breakfast. Instead, it felt more like a one-star hotel breakfast. Otherwise, the room quality was very good.

Very close to the airport. The room had a comfortable bed, but the pillows were huge and uncomfortable. There was a kettle, tea, and instant coffee in the room. The staff were very polite and friendly. Check-in took a bit long, about 20 minutes. We went for a swim in the pool; everyone saw us heading there and just smiled, not saying anything. But once we were in the water, they told us we couldn't swim. Maybe there were chemicals? We didn't understand. We went straight back to our room to shower. The water was hot with good pressure, and the bathtub was comfortable. The view was nice. There's a shuttle every half hour. The restaurant had regular prices, and the dish was beautifully presented, though the taste was debatable.

This was a welcome Oasis which we booked for a night due to a sufficiently long layover to justify. This case it was around 15 hours and it would be overnight so it was decided to book this hotel in order to be a bit more comfortable and refreshed for the next day's leg. For those who are sensitive, there does appear to be evidence to suggest scented product use throughout the establishment... But it's not too overpowering such as on the Royal Air Morocco's aircraft.... Staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are neat and tidy and well laid out with sufficient room to move about in. It's a surprisingly quiet area given its proximity to the airport. And it has a free shuttle which is currently running every 30 minutes on the hour. Give yourself a little bit of extra time to find where the shuttle is though as it may not be particularly apparent. The breakfast spread is very delicious and the fact that they had the famous Moroccan mint tea and bottomless cups really made my day! My only regret in staying here is that it was a bit of an excursion to go into the city to do some proper sightseeing and take in all the wonders of Casablanca.... Even if I've only seen the movie once ;) ... But this isn't on the hotel.... And hopefully I look forward to visiting again and spending a bit more time to explore this interesting region. A thoroughly endearing part of this hotel were some cats patrolling the premises.

Staying at Riad Old City Palace was pure magic – a hidden oasis in Fez’s bustling medina that felt like stepping into a warm Moroccan dream. The atmosphere is enchanting: intricate zellige tiles, cozy lounges with plush cushions, and a serene riad courtyard that whispers tranquility amid the city’s chaos. It’s the kind of place where every corner invites you to relax and soak in the authentic charm. The staff? Outstanding! From the moment we arrived, they were like family – incredibly friendly, always available with smiles and genuine care. Whenever we had doubts about anything (taxis, markets, hidden spots), they were there, patiently answering questions, always picking up the phone promptly, and even guiding us with precise directions to local gems. They made our trip seamless and stress-free. Food highlights were next-level. The late-night teas were a lifesaver after long days exploring – aromatic mint tea served with warmth and perfect sweetness under the stars. Dinners were flavorful feasts of tagines, couscous, and fresh salads that burst with local spices. Breakfast? A lavish spread of fluffy pancakes, fresh fruits, cheeses, and endless Moroccan pastries – we never wanted to leave the table! This riad is simply a nice place run by the best team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we strongly recommend it to everyone visiting Fez. We’ll be back!

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The price was reasonable, and the facilities were modern. I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back. The location is excellent, right on the Atlantic Ocean, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a beautiful, expansive view. The room looked exactly like the pictures, no differences at all. Regarding facilities, the kitchen cabinet doors were a bit stiff to open and close, but it didn't affect their use. Other kitchen amenities were quite comprehensive, which was a huge help for our family trip and cooking during Ramadan. Initially, I wasn't sure how to use the induction cooktop, but the gentleman at the entrance was very kind and came to help, even though we had a language barrier, we managed to sort it out. Plus, there was a foldable drying rack in the wardrobe, which was very practical and convenient. Finally, they provided a parking spot right outside, on the roadside. Although it wasn't marked, the person in the reflective vest didn't charge us once they saw us parked there.
