The first time we used the recommendation of the Trip.com website and we were so lucky! Excellent hotel (namely a hotel, not a guest house like on ordinary local islands). The service is at the highest level. They differ from the resort only in the absence of alcohol. A gorgeous bikini beach along most of the island. They met us at the exit from the arrivals area and took us back there. Comfortable rooms. The food is beyond praise: a magnificent buffet, always a large selection of dishes for every taste, fresh fruit, and a huge selection of desserts for dinner. Shark feeding show every day! Cool excursions. In general, I definitely recommend it!
The best hotel in Fulidoo
The housekeeper Shariq arranged it attentively
The accommodation is safe, the food is rich and affordable, and there are many activities
We stayed for five days and felt that time passed quickly
Thanks to the hotel staff
I will come again if I have the chance
PS:
Turn left from the hotel and walk to the beach 30 meters away
Through a wave area (it is better to take a boat to go there, which is safer. The housekeeper can arrange it)
You can enter a coral garden
You can see solitary turtles, manta, tuna
Groups of sharks
Tsing Yi everywhere, groups of cow harbours
Countless scenic fish
Sitting on the 12-meter steep cliff on the seabed
Quietly feel
This prosperity and tranquility
Very great experience at here!
Friendly staff, Breathtaking view, Nice food!
Have much activities to do, prepared by the hotel.
There is even photographer helping us to take nice photos and free one complimentary photo to us.
There is even painting class!
Great one!
The island selection was very successful. In addition to the speedboat being a little far away (acceptable for more than an hour), there is also a seaplane option. The service response, accommodation hardware and snorkeling environment are all great. There are no mosquitoes on the island, and the water houses are even more comfortable and great. The sun set water house is closer to the trench and more suitable for snorkeling. The other water houses have more beautiful sea water colors, and the sand houses look very good. There is not much publicity, and even if the occupancy rate is relatively high, it is still very quiet. The island is not too big or too small, and it is not very tiring to walk and the sea water is beautiful. It is not hot for several days. Everything feels great. The breakfast can be changed more every day! I will come again in the future! The atmosphere of the water house is also good at night, not scary at all

We were picked up at the Velana airport after an overnight stay at the local island, with transfer fee of $40 USD per person to take the speedboat to Fulidhoo, where Kinan Retreat is at.
After alighting from the jetty at Fulidhoo, it's a short 5 mins walk to the Retreat. Welcome drinks and hot hand towels were offered.
We missed the morning excursion trip but decided to go for it the next day. The room provided can have an extra bed for $15 USD. Fulidhoo is a small local island but it's the favorite hangout for stingrays and nurse sharks. You will be able to spot these lovely creatures around the shore, especially near evening time when there are people who start feeding them. You will be able to get up close and even touch them, but with caution.
We went on an evening fishing trip that cost $45 USD per person, inclusive of a BBQ dinner for the dishes that were caught.
On the next day before leaving for our resort island stay, we took the excursion trip to see dolphins, snorkeling with nurse sharks at SharkPoint and went turtle spotting, all these for $40 USD per person. Underwater videos were captured and shared by WhatsApp. Great service by the counter lady Shahidah.
I will recommend this Retreat to visitors, and you will not be disappointed with the time spent on the island.

It's very close to the pier. The color of the sea at the door is so beautiful. Linda, who received us, was very enthusiastic to pick us up at the pier and explain the hotel matters to us. This hotel is considered the best hotel in Fulidhoo Island. It seems that you can go free diving on the north side of the island. There are nurse sharks and manta rays. The girl who lived next to me went there with her friends. I signed up for the shipwreck snorkeling and 2-day scuba fun dive of the hotel's diving center. It was great and interesting. I felt that I saw more than I did on the Maldives liveaboard. I recommend everyone to sign up for night diving. At 5:30, you can see underwater fireflies when you turn off the flashlight. After the water level is raised, the sky is full of stars. It's too romantic. I've quit diving because of what you said. I will go there again if I have the chance. See you again!

AAlphaprimeroWe moved from the beach villa to our overwater jacuzzi water villa with ease
Upon reaching the room, we loved the view where you'll be able to see sunrise on the left side and the sunset on the right of it.
Tried out the jacuzzi pool, swam around our overwater villa throughout the afternoon. We brought bread from the meals and fed the fishes that were always around the villa. During low tide, you could even stand in the water under the overwater villa with fishes swimming around you, all the time. Once in a while, you may see a solo nurse shark swim nearby.
The pictures taken are so Instagram-able . Really enjoyed our stay at this resort.
After meals, will play at the pool table, air hockey, play darts and table futsal. My son also paid a visit to the gym. There is an Ameera Spa just behind the main dining hall.
NNehaOur time at Thundi Resort was wonderful, thanks to Shifaz and his team who were all very helpful and friendly. The food was great, Chef Mohit catered to our needs well and he's a fabulous cook. I would definitely recommend Thundi for a peaceful, relaxing, and worthwhile stay at Fulidhoo. Thank you.
