Stayed at Tune Hotel Kota Bharu — simple, clean, and comfortable 👍
Room is compact but the bed and aircond were great. Located near KB Mall, so it’s easy to find food and shops. Street parking available, and check-in was smooth.
Good value for a short, no-frills stay. Would stay again.
Stayed at H Elite Hotel for 2 nights. Overall, the experience was good. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices and was enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the parking area was convenient and sufficient.
However, the bed and mattress could be improved. The bed made loud spring noises even when just sitting on it, which suggests that the mattress and bed frame may be quite old and need replacement.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and upgrading the bed and mattress would greatly enhance guest comfort.
The hotel did look new outside but actually quite dated. But still easily, might be the best in KB! Nearby are shopping mall and few local eateries. Room/bed was big, king bed was comfy. Only the toilet bowl bit lower than usual. Breakfast variety is massive, love that you can get Kelantanese famous local laksam, roti titap, kuih akok and some Johorean steam bread with pool peanut curry. Continental menu, pastries, egg station available too. The pool is huge and their gym also very big and quite updated. Afternoon tea packages are quite interesting. Located just a 10 mins to city centre. Would love to come back again to this hotel.
Just one I noticed, no sejadah in my room. Don't forget to bring your own.
The room and environment is okay. I got the downstairs room, so can hear clearly when the upstairs move or jump. Soundproof is one issue - then the wifi in room is not stable and the toilet light went off (likely because electric is not stable). Breakfast is very average. Okay to stay, but no next time
I came in a separate car from my husband & child as it was an impromptu stay.
I had a course that I needed to attend but no transport was available from my office so I needed to drive there for 2 days straight.
It was exhausting with my current condition.
Hence, I booked a room here just a day prior😅
Thankfully I got a nice deluxe queen room which spacious enough to fit my family. And recently just got renovated.
Sleep & rested for the night. Got to go to my course after having breakfast & my husband staying with my child having fun at the pool until check out time.
Surely, will repeat again if needed 😅
My stay at this hotel was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were complete, with great bathrooms and air conditioning. The front desk service was also very friendly; both check-in and check-out were smooth. The overall environment is quiet, making it very suitable for sightseeing or business trips. It offers great value for money, and I would recommend it to friends and would definitely stay here again.
Easy to find out ,Air conditioning is best at 16 C degree . The hotel even provides a purified water dispenser, so you don't need to buy bottled water anymore, because there's a big bottle available.
For me okay, nice hotel walaupun furnished dia mcm da lama sikit tp masih boleh guna. Thank you juga ada iron yg jenis steam iron. Staff dorang semua okay. Mungkin boleh tambah lagi chanel tv and quality siaran. Itu sahaja, yg lain semua terbaik! 🥰👍✨
Best hotel in KB so far.. i love the breakfast too despite Ramahdan month still many varieties at the hotel restaurant. Just a bit disappointed on the treadmills that require proper maintenance or perhaps get a new set.

Stay here for one night is a great experiences especially for family with kids. Me with family got a good time stayed here and definitely will repeat again. Kids having fun played at the swimming pool Level 6. Only at night time, not much lamp at the swimming pool side. Family with more than one car, need to pay extra, or you can pay 20myr for one day at the basement parking. Overall, all is good.
The hotel is currently having a lobby renovation so entry and exit is through the Billion Supermarket lobby. Having said that, the hotel made the temporary pathway rather integrated and security posts and reception was extended to the temporary lobby. The hotel lobby itself is grand and beautiful and staff were always available, attentive and accommodating. Check in was pretty smooth. My room was very spacious and decor although a bit dated is still good. The hallway wallpaper outside needs some care though. Toilet is good and comfortable seating and working spaces. Bed is supersized and amenities are adequate. Wi-Fi connectivity is easy and very fast! Breakfast variety is as good as any 5 star hotel although consistency in taste is the issue. I had a great breakfast on the first day but the second day was rather meh despite having almost similar dishes as the day before. Dining staff are very kind and gracious to your needs.
The room very clean. I love their buffet breakfast spread , have locak delicacies like nasi dg and nasi kerabu. The staff is friendly, always greet us and offer help. My grandchildren love the pool very much because the swimming pool is big
Strategic location, clean room new building, friendly and helpful staff, love the gym perhaps it could be better if provide small towel and water in the gym. Overall satisfied.
Always be my choice for staying in Kota Bharu… Good location as walking distance to Pasar Malam Wakaf Che Yah… Foods are everywhere and the price is affordable… Many restaurants you could choose… For the hotel itself, the breakfast is amazing !! So yummy and variety of foods served… Highly recommended !
KKhairulnaim ZukriA night at Jewels Hotel, Kota Bharu – charmingly modest yet full of pleasant surprises. We snagged a room for RM152, and despite its appearance as a budget establishment, it turned out to be delightfully comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant, beautifully furnished, everything one needs to unwind after a day of exploring. Only one small hiccup: toiletries were basic — a 3-in-1 shower gel (shampoo + conditioner) plus towel, and that’s it. No toothbrush, paste, cotton buds and so on. If those were included, I’d be rating it an A+. Some interesting colour: Jewels Hotel was formerly known as Habib Hotel and is part of the HABIB Group. Its theme, as you might guess, revolves around “jewels”, reflected in its decor and name. All in all, for value and comfort right in the heart of Kota Bharu, it hits the spot — perfect for travellers on the go wanting something pleasant without breaking the bank.
