Stayed at Dusit Thani Residence Davao for a recent business trip, and it exceeded expectations. The location is very convenient—close to the airport, which is perfect for tight schedules. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped for work, with a comfortable desk setup and reliable Wi-Fi. The environment is quiet, making it easy to focus or rest after a long day of meetings. Service is excellent—staff are professional, attentive, and quick to assist with any requests. The amenities, especially the pool and fitness center, are great for unwinding after work. The place is very convenient as it is very near to malls and specially to the airport if you are staying in just before your flight. There are also a lot of 24hrs dining around the place.

Service sometimes take time and manning doesn't know what to do, TV not working at all without any advise until asked, cleanliness is average due to age of the hotel and the food inconsistent to quality and public health standard.

It has a beautiful garden. The food in the restaurant is nice. Seats are inside in a Filipino style room, outside you can enjoy the spacious lush garden while have lunch/dinner. The rooms are large, beds comfortable. It is a bit older but the Charme of this resort is stunning. There is a shuttle boat to beaches at Samal island. Short ride to malls, with grab no problem at all. The breakfast is solid. I would say this was my best stay in Davao.

I think this hotel stay could use a few improvements for better guest comfort. Arriving late in the evening, I was greeted and given all the necessary information. Upon reaching my room, I tried to find details about my stay, such as meal times, as I had booked a Deluxe Room with Club Access. However, there was no information in the room regarding how the club worked. So, the next evening, I went to the club at the last minute because I found out they were closing the buffet, but I could still grab something. I do appreciate the hotel's efforts to implement eco-friendly solutions. As always, the service was the best.

If you are early before 2pm they won't allow you to enter the hotel. we tried to enter 3 times because we arrived early but they are strict to follow their check in time. good location because it is near the mall and other places to visit. they need to improve their customer service. My kids are excited for the swimming pool because they see it on the post of the hotel that they have it but when we ask for where the pool is to go for swimming they say it's not available and said under maintenance. We don't know if they don't like us to use it because we saw the pool and it's ok. They are disappointed. Check in again probably not? maybe if they improve their service. Need to maintain also the facilities and amenities.

The hotel is rather old and not that well maintained, the ceiling of the common area leaks due to no good roof, looks like the upper story was never completed. Wi-fi does not work in the room or on the second floor you have to sit in the hotel lobby. Hotel is generally clean, but under bed, and corners of common areas are covered in dust. Generally its ok for a few nights at a good price, but hotel is deteriorating rapidly due to lack of maintenance.
