A Mixed Stay at Apo View Hotel: Room for Improvement I recently stayed at Apo View Hotel in Davao, booking a twin room for myself and my cousin upon arrival. Given the hotel's reputation, I had fairly high expectations, hoping for a comfortable and top-tier experience. Unfortunately, my first night left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The amenities felt outdated, and two major issues stood out: the internet connection was very weak and laggy, and the air-conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, making the space uncomfortably warm. After a long 24-hour journey, I was too exhausted to raise a complaint that night, but I hoped for a better experience in my second booking — a family room. Another point of concern was the service at the reception desk. Upon check-in, I stood before the staff without even being acknowledged. What was more frustrating was that another guest who arrived after me was attended to first. A simple greeting or assurance that someone would be with me shortly could’ve made all the difference in that moment. However, it wasn’t all disappointing. During my first breakfast buffet, I was pleasantly surprised by a friendly and upbeat staff member who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. His cheerful attitude truly brightened my morning and helped shift my perception of the service. I regret not getting his name, but his hospitality deserves to be recognised. In summary, while Apo View Hotel has potential, especially with its long-standing reputation, there’s certainly room for improvement in terms of guest service and room maintenance. With a few upgrades and more attentive customer care, it could provide the high-standard experience guests expect.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities I could ask for. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again!

Compared to the older Red Planet Hotels this venue is 'recently refurbished' with customizable lighting. The 2 spotlights above the bed(s) are individually switched which is helpful if you want to read as your partner sleeps.

Hotel location is perfect. Walking distance to People’s Park (5mins), Bangkerohan (7mins), San Pedro Cathedral and Osmena Park (15mins). Nearby Mercury drug store which opens until 10pm. 24/7 McDo and Greenwich. 5min drive to Roxas Night Market. May jeep na dumadaan sa tapat ng hotel but most of the jeepney drivers don’t know the Gov Duterte St. mas familiar sa kanila ang Ilustre St. then walk towards to hotel which is 2mins lang. Lunch and dinner buffet is being offered, daming waiting.  Hotel is not recommended para sa maaarte. Luma na ang establishment at mahina ang toilet flush, no bidet. Provided ang pail and dipper.  Mahina din ang aircon but enough to make a room cool temperature.  No hair dryer and hand towel. Only body towel, soap and shampoo/conditioner are their toiletries. As a business traveler, I prefer clean, hassle-free hotels with good wifi that will allow me to work in peace, rest well after a long day, and allow me to access good dining options within walking distance. Seda ticks all these boxes. The whole place was clean, the room was immaculate, and I love the desk in the room! Plus, the staff were very friendly and were ready to assist. Seda Abreeza has become my preferred hotel in Davao.

We spent a relaxing afternoon by the pool, the turquoise water sparkling under the warm sun. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. From the fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to the exquisite presentation, every dish was a treat for the senses. Beyond the luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, the Blue Lotus Hotel offered a sense of escape, a chance to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with ourselves. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful for this unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Blue Lotus Hotel to anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious getaway. It's a place where memories are made and relaxation is guaranteed.

Honest review. Loved to 1. Great location 2. Many pools to choose from 3. Friendly, courteous staffs, fast service 4. Accommodating 5. Spacious lobby 6. Easy check in and out Other side: 1. Too pricey hotel 2.bfast Buffet food was just standard for a luxury hotel , should be set up maybe outside (non pork) 3. Should have another room to store their extra beds not displaying just outside our room (Executive suite) 4. Lock Knob was broken at the CR 5. Dinner buffet was too pricey for p2,500.00 each. 6. Fireworks dance must be set at the middle stage for the benefit of all guests not just for the buffet eaters (dinner) 7. Gym area was not spacious for a luxury hotel 8. Limited Recreational activities to choose from 9. The color of the hotel (i know it's standard color of Discovery) but it's dull , not appealing

Ok ang lugar ok ang hotel very cute accessible sya.ok Yung staff mabait at matulungin.kaya Lang Luma ang mga beddings and pillow cases.over all ok naman satisfied.God bless.

The location is the city, ambiance is good, room is clean and tidy. Unfortunately the staff in the reception is rude and unhelpful. I politely request for a additional pillows since my husband has a medical condition. He needs to have 2-3 pillows for him to elevate his head while sleeping. However the front desk staff strongly informed me that they are fully booked and she cannot provide an additional pillows since the pillows are all consumed. So I just kept quiet and proceed to our room. So I ask one of the staff who help us in our luggage if he can spare me 2 more pillows. Good thing he provided us with 2 more pillows when he came back to our room. I understand if they are fully booked but that is not the problem of the client. Hotel Management should prepare extra pillows incase client will have their request. Management people in Hop Inn Hotel kindly conduct a seminar on your staff how to handle customer service. Since your staff in front desk is unprofessional, rude and no customer service at all. Attitude is everything....😡😠😣☹️😟
