"The location is slightly far from the town but it's just right beside the beach, if beach and ocean are your priority. Topnotch hospitality, especially staff from the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, and we also ordered room service for dinner, which was equally good. Access to the aqua park was convenient with hourly shuttle bus. The aqua park itself is not huge, for adults, not much thrilling activities available and 1 hour is more than sufficient. Our room comes with jacuzzi but sea view has been blocked by the coconut tree right in front of the balcony. Request for upper floors if you prefer greater views."

"Salalah Rotana is by far the most premium proprties I have stayed in. Beautifully designed, with well maintained rooms, polite and courteous staff, and lots of amenities. Breakfast spread was so good with lots of options for indian vegetarians. The chef even accommodated our dietery request for Jain food, and specially cooked some items throughtout our stay tenure. Pool is beautiful, and unbelievable shoreline. Though one cant swim at the beach due to high waves, its wonderful to just be there. I highly recommend this property. A bit far but centrally located from many attractions and driving around Salalah is easy with a rental car, so not a big problem."

"Hotel is in a good location about 5/7 minutes from the airport. It’s a resort, on the 1st floor of Gardens Mall Salalah. We had issues when we arrived, the gave us a standard room while we booked king room (the staff told us, that is referring to the bed size) this should not be the title of the listing (King Room etc). We got in touch with trio who were extremely helpful, the entire team, promptly. Had this been a European company, god help us, honestly (we all know when it comes to the crunch, not majority live up to their sales pitch). We took it upon ourselves also and had a word with the manager regarding this issue, who was happy to upgrade us to a very good room. We did spend a night in the standard room but it was still a very decent room. As mentioned before we done out locally so not sure about the food, conveniently located, take the lift straight down to the mall, this has a hyper market (carrefour) and Lulu is a walk down from the Mall (walking is not an option, you can it’s a bit of a walk with no pedestrian access). Staff friendly except one lady at the desk when asked for two glass sent the smallest cups via room service (glass are for restaurant only, we were told) but another kind lady at the desk in the morning (when requested sent these over). Would we stay there again? Yes, we would but make sure you check which room you are booking. Hats off to trip.com for being there with us all the way. The beach is a taxi ride away, the picture here is from Al Haffah beach and the frankincense being sorted by workers from Bangladesh. "Easy to reach, with ample parking, opposite the shopping center and surrounded by restaurants, hairdressers, and shops. The rooftop pool is perfect. Completely soundproof despite being next to the road."

"Great hotel in a new tourist area, but very clean and perfect for relaxation (except the guests of the very large neighborhoods that stole early in the morning all the rests on the beach which must be absolutely improved, But we went soon:) pleasant breakfast without too many people with the kind Nerage and the excellent chef Moataz who prepared eggs in any way always excellent! We had a nice view of the sea, but some nights the music was feeling a little high, the cloaks are not very good and even the door of the room let the noise of the general conditioning plant enter, But he was not more than so irritating to us, a special mention of the always careful and smile Rasha and Murad for gentleness and excellent cleaning."

"Overall all the staff are very friendly and helpful, I don't have cash for a taxi, the lady staff lent me her 5 rials, of course I returned back the next day, when checkout I still have plenty of time before my flight, the lady staff told me that I can still use the swimming pool and gym while waiting my flight time on evening"

"Отель расположен в часе езды от аэропорта. Находится в отдалении от всего, т.е выйти за территорию некуда. Номера расположены в главном здании и в отдельно стоящих домиках. К сожалению, при нашем заселении в номере пятизвездочного отеля не оказалось ни тапочке, ни халата, ни принадлежностей. Принесли только после просьбы. Питание достаточно однообразное и скудное. За едой выстраивается очередь. Персонал не успевает убирать столики за посетителями , напитки легче взять самим, чем дождаться, когда их принесут. Напитки подают только в строго отведанное время с 12 до 15 в баре у бассейна и с 12 до 18 по пятницам. В кафе в лобби все платно. При этом обмен денег на стойке ресепшн невозможен , нужно идти в лавку, в которой обязательно что-то надо купить. Лежаков у бассейна не хватает, но здесь не вина отеля, а отдыхающих, которые занимают места и не приходят. Пляж находится немного в отдалении - можно доехать на багги или дойти пешком. Иногда и на пляже не хватает лежаков. Анимации нет, только на итальянском для итальянцев. Для итальянцев отдельный ресторан. Персонал дружелюбный, на стойке ресепшн говорят на русском. В целом , пребывание в отеле достаточно комфортное. Белый песок и лазурное море сгладили недочеты."
