"This hotel is exceptionally well-maintained. The rooms are clean and tidy, with several bright windows offering city views and plenty of natural light. Although not huge, the room was spacious enough for three people and all our luggage (a 28-inch and a 26-inch suitcase). All the facilities were in good working order. We could drive right up to the hotel entrance, and the staff helped us with our bags. The hotel's terrace offers panoramic views of Safranbolu, so there’s no need to trek up to a higher viewing platform. The city center is just about a 3-minute walk down a path next to the hotel. On the downside, the breakfast had an excessive amount of dry cheese that we couldn't possibly finish. It would have been better if they offered some salami or milk instead, though the cat by the entrance didn't mind the cheese at all! Also, the shower hose connection in my room was a bit damaged. It wasn’t unusable yet, but replacing it would definitely improve the experience."

The small hotel's rooms were indeed uniquely decorated, but they also suffered from common problems in old Safranbolu buildings, such as poor soundproofing and low ceilings. Unlike the first, it provided disposable slippers. The heating was excellent. We stayed on the second floor, and from the window, we could overlook Safranbolu. This hotel was also only 300 meters from the Middle Eastern restaurant we frequented for two consecutive days. Judging from the breakfast, the two hotels offered similar variety and quality. The next day, we left the hotel to go to the station and asked the owner to help us call a taxi. The owner asked if I could use his car to take us for the same price. I said of course. I thought it was just an economy car that you see all over town, but it turned out to be a Land Rover."
