Our two-night stay here was unfortunately disappointing. We were given a room on the ground floor which had several issues during our stay. Part of the cave ceiling fell shortly after we checked in and so there was stone debris strewn around the room and on top of one of our suitcases. Thankfully our suitcase was closed. We swiftly complained to reception who told us that these issues do happen as it is a cave and assigned the cleaner to clean the mess. We left to explore town for a few hours and came back fully expecting the mess to already be cleaned but it had not been. There is only one cleaner for the entire hotel and so, cleaning services are not as prompt as it can be but it was eventually sorted. Cleanliness is another issue that we encountered. The room was dusty and the floors were quite dirty. Walking barefoot in our room was not an option. Dust covered some surfaces, particularly the hair dryer in the bathroom, that was not functioning. We would also periodically find fine rock debris on our items that we left on the bathroom counter. Furthermore, while breakfast was delightful and there was a nice range of things to choose from, we were shocked at how the food was not served and covered properly. It was left exposed during the entire dining time and as it is summer now, flies were hovering constantly. Amenities were also dissatisfying. The broken hairdryer aside, there were only three lamps in our cave room which had no windows. So as can be imagined, it was incredibly dark. On our last day, two of the lights went out and so we had to pack our luggages with the door wide open just so we could see. The air-conditioner was barely functioning so the room was sweltering in the morning. It was better at night but we had to sleep without the blankets in order to be comfortable. Lastly, the glass shower had no door and looked to have been broken. That said, the staff members were kind and welcoming and tried their best to attend to our needs, albeit not always swiftly. We did take into consideration that this is a cave hotel and that infrastructural issues are to be expected. However, the hotel itself does not seem to be maintained well. I am sure there are plenty of cave hotels that do not have the issues listed. There is ongoing construction happening at the rooftop area though so that might be the cause? Furthermore, as it is a small hotel (I hesitate to even classify it as that - it feels more like a bed and breakfast), the staff itself is small and so, service can be slow. All in all, it is a good option if you want to have an authentic cave experience that is not as expensive as the others and that is conveniently located in the town centre close to all the good eateries. Just make sure to adjust your expectations and to be prepared for issues to arise that though are minor, are too numerous to be overlooked. Side note: do not get a taxi to the airport from the hotel. Quoted at 60 Euros while the taxi stand 5 mins away from the hotel can take you there for a little over 2000 Liras.

The four-story Cappadocia Grand Hotel is located in the north of Goreme, not far from the hot air balloon landing site, and is very convenient for entering and leaving the town. The room facilities are simple but comfortable, with a large space, and there are elevators (very few other hotels in the town have), heating and swimming pools (it is too cold to use). You can book hot air balloon rides and tours to the surrounding areas through the hotel front desk, which is very reliable! I have to mention the two handsome guys at the front desk, Efe and Sinon; when we arrived at the hotel, Efe came out to greet us and took the initiative to carry our heavy suitcases into the hotel. Sinon, who speaks fluent Chinese, took the initiative to help us add WeChat to facilitate contacting them when we are playing in the local area. What surprised and touched us the most was that this trip was our child’s birthday trip; the weather was very good on the birthday, and we were lucky to book through the hotel and take the Brothers company hot air balloon to rise with the rising sun. In the evening, when we were eating outside, we received a WeChat message from Efa, asking if we needed help preparing a birthday cake; we declined politely because we were afraid of troubling the hotel. Unexpectedly, when I returned to the hotel room, I still saw the 2-pound cake prepared by the hotel. After tasting the delicious cake, we shared most of it with the hotel staff and thanked them for their love, which brought our birthday trip to a perfect end. The hotel is located in a quiet location with convenient transportation. It is only a 5-6 minute walk from the nearby Chinese restaurant. Quick China is highly recommended for travelers with Asian appetites. The hotel is also not far from the sunset view point. By the way, the roof of the hotel is also a great place to watch hot air balloons in the morning. ”We are not in a hurry, always thinking that there is a long way to go. We wait for the flowers to bloom, but forget that things are impermanent”

The overall layout is very Instagram-esque, making it perfect for photo ops, and the front desk staff was also very friendly. There are a few downsides: the breakfast variety isn't very diverse; the room soundproofing isn't great. Living in Room 201, footsteps were loud whenever someone walked up or down the stairs, and there were also people chatting on the sofas near the entrance. The bathroom was incredibly hot and humid after showering, and lacked ventilation. There are several decorated terraces, and you can see plenty of hot air balloons, but the photos aren't particularly good because the backlit shots are very dark, and the large number of buildings in the foreground detracts from the overall picture quality. While wandering around Goreme, I realized that after struggling for so long to choose a hotel, they were all actually very close together.

This is amazing Hotel that I ever had in Goreme Cappadocia, They have the amazing in the Hotel, worth to get all the 5star rating in all places and sector, Hotel staff is super helpful and settle all my issue and I let them to arrange my tour, they offered me a very good pricing for Hot Air Balloons as well, Super Reliable… 🩷

Some people write bad things about this hotel, but it may be because they are not willing to negotiate themselves. If you have any problems, negotiate and tell us what you want. The polite and friendly staff will definitely meet your expectations. I actually negotiated the price by changing the room and staying for a few hours on the last day. When I accidentally locked the bathroom door from inside, the cheerful staff quickly responded and solved the problem. I think there are few hotels in Cappadocia that offer this quality of service at this price. Delicious breakfast, good access to Uchisar Castle, and cooperative staff. I think the fact that this is the first time I've left a review for a hotel speaks volumes about the wonderful stay. I promised the staff that I will definitely use them again the next time I visit Cappadocia. Thank you & I'll be back!!

Loved loved loved my stay at Cappadocia Pyramid Stone House. Uchisar is such a peaceful, quaint little town in Cappadocia and the hotel reflected this. I stayed for 5 nights and found it to be super comfortable and the staff are truly amazing, genuine people. There is also an incredible Turkish breakfast every morning at 9am (though they can fix something earlier if need be) and it was one of the highlights of my trip, such good food and a great way to start the day.

The room is very spacious and the location is a 10-minute drive from the town of Goreme. The hotel is relatively new, the service is also very good, parking is super convenient, and the Marriott is over 700 for a very good value.

This is one of the coolest hotels I've ever been to In my Life. If you like Gothic architecture and something different bored of the same old boutique hotels this is a place to come visit. The blood pool in the hell dungeon is amazing with snakes and stone on the ceiling. If you are into rock music Gothic medieval and still want the luxuries this is the place you have to come see.

This hotel was definitely wonderland. Inside and outside, truly stunning with the gorgeous Cappadocia back drop to compliment the beautifully designed hotel grounds with green area and pool. I arrived long before check in time to do a tour at 4am which got canceled. Ali, one of the best hotel staff I've ever met, made sure I got comfortable as quickly as possible into my Queen Suite which was breathtaking! A room inside a cave? Omg, it was amazing, huge, with a bathroom truly fit for a queen with shower, jacuzzi, and get this, it's own sauna! The hotel also provide a tasty breakfast and assistance with organizing tours (at reasonable additional costs). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was sad to leave! Best hotel in Cappadocia!

I recommend you this hotel very much. The atmosphere is like real caves. We can enjoy the real caves hotel. The staff were so kind. They helped us to make a reservation for the tour. And they also help us to change the time of airport transportation reservation. The room is so beautiful. There are many restaurants including Kebab and souvenirs shop. You can enjoy testy morning meal with nice view.
