Hotel Diyor

This hotel is truly just a five minute walk from the Registan, plus it has ice cream, fast food and an artisan's center right next to it. My room was light and comfortable, although the air conditioner was loud at first. Breakfast was buffet style, with a lovely worker frying eggs for you after you sat down. Please note: at first, the check in staff couldn't tell from the reservation I made on Trip.com that I had already prepaid for the hotel room, but after they made a phone call, everything was fine.
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand

Hilton Garden Inn is very good. There is a young man at the front desk who is very enthusiastic and speaks very good Chinese. He not only helped us with our luggage but also accompanied us to wait for the bus and introduced us to the hotel. He is very nice. The hotel environment is elegant. There is an electricity card in the room. The room is very large and new, with a slight decoration smell. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat many local specialties such as baked buns, preserved fruits, dried fruits, and nuts. The location is 3 kilometers away from the core scenic area, and it is convenient to take a taxi.
Shohjahon Palace Hotel & Spa

We really liked the hotel, it is not big, but very cozy with high-quality repairs. It is conveniently located on a quiet street. A 10-minute walk from Registan. Our room was spacious, two-room with a beautiful view of the courtyard. The administrators were friendly, they were in touch before the trip, clarified the details of the arrival. On the day of arrival, we ordered a sauna with a pool for an hour. The water is cool, you can’t swim for a long time (we were there in January). The sauna is paid 100 thousand soums per person per hour, you can use the pool for free. After a long journey, we liked this option. We met other hotel guests only at breakfast, and otherwise we could not hear anyone, which personally pleased us very much. We really wanted to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Another plus of a vacation in the off-season. Breakfasts are served in the neighboring building on the ground floor, in the form of a buffet from 7 to 10 in the morning. Everything was delicious. Lots of pastries, fruits, yogurts, pancakes, cheesecakes, sausages and cheese of several kinds, dried fruits and nuts, fried eggs on request and made coffee. After such a hearty breakfast, we had our second meal only in the evening. Special thanks to Dilya, she cooked everything with soul and home-style. She packed us lunch boxes, because on the day of departure we did not have time to have breakfast (there was an early flight). We were pleased with the trip to Samarkand. I recommend the hotel.
Medina Hotel Samarkand

A good choice, but the hotel didn't remind me to check in 2 hours early and I had to pay $40! **** didn't say a word, ”Wait a minute, now it's double the price.” Just take the money and stop talking. Speechless 😓, the breakfast is really great, I have to say more about the good stuff.
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Sogd

The hotel is situated a bit away from the city center, but it offers a convenient shuttle service and taxis to the center are reasonably priced. As a brand-new establishment, everything during my stay was impeccable.
Mövenpick Samarkand
4.4/542 Reviews
The service was excellent. There was a young man at the reception who was learning Japanese, and the response when we had any problems was quick and good. The hotel is also in a good location, close to tourist attractions and shopping facilities, so if you use this hotel as your base, you'll be able to enjoy central Samarkand to the fullest. I'd like to stay here again.
Hotel Osiyo Plaza
4.1/54 Reviews
I didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.

Gur Emir Palace
4.1/513 Reviews
In the alley, very close to the scenic Guer Emir Temple, you can walk to it, the location is very convenient, the terrace can also be seen from a distance, the scenery is good. The hotel is magnificent, the overall decoration of the palace feels golden. The room is small and clean. There are disposable items such as toothbrushes, and the sockets are the same as in China and do not need to be converted. There is no elevator, and large luggage is a bit difficult. When I left, I received a tourist tax according to the head of the person. Children also counted, 51000 sum per person per night, which is similar to the 30 yuan marked by Trip , but some hotels did not charge it and did not know how to price it. There are many varieties of breakfast, relatively rich in taste, and the dining environment is comfortable.
