Maple Viewing at Daigo-ji Temple: Bentendo: The red leaves surround the vermilion pagoda, which is reflected in the mirror-like pond, making it a breathtaking sight. The day we went was the best time for the red leaves, the only downside was that the water was slightly rippled, making the reflection a bit blurry. Daigo-ji Temple was built on Mount Daigo, and there are more than 80 temples and pagodas inside. Of course, Daigo-ji Temple is the most eye-catching one. Daigo-ji Temple is listed as a World Cultural Heritage site, and it is a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn. In addition to enjoying the scenery, the temple also houses many important cultural relics. Five-storied Pagoda It is the oldest wooden building in Kyoto that has not been destroyed by fire.
