On the island, renting an electric car is the most cost-effective choice, and the price varies depending on the time and power.
Accommodation costs: Homestays are more distinctive and cost-effective choices. Prices vary depending on time and location.
Food costs: Eating seafood and snacks at the big stalls in Beihai city is relatively cheap. On the island, the price may be higher. Specific consumption depends on personal taste and choice.
Overall, according to my travel guide, the cost of a four-day and three-night trip to Beihai should be around 2,000 yuan, including transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, and ticket costs. Of course, the specific cost will also be affected by personal consumption habits and choices.

Beihai Old Street leads to the sea, have you checked in yet?
🌟 Check in for the romance of Beihai Old Street 🌟
📍 Address: Beihai Old Street, Beihai City
🚌 Transportation: Convenient and fast, you can take a bus or a taxi (of course, the most convenient is the electric scooter 🛵)
A map of the old street leading to the sea is too beautiful! Walking on the old street, the streets are full of flowers 🌺! The old buildings with arcades are neatly arranged! The nights here are lively 🎉! People come and go, feeling the strong popularity!
In the morning, there are few people on the old street, and almost no tourists walking around, it's quite quiet. On both sides of the street are groups of art students who come to sketch 🎨 (It's not recommended to go in the morning, as many shops are not open, but if you like quietness, you can go in the morning~)
The snacks and fruit drinks on the old street are super abundant 🍽️: shrimp cakes, spicy snails, pig's trotter noodles, fresh coconut juice 🥥, Cantonese desserts... the prices are all quite lovely, and there are delicacies like oysters waiting for you to taste!
There are also many quaint shops 🏪, with lots of special little commodities inside, where you can buy some souvenirs to take home 🎁! The mottled marks of time, the worldly atmosphere. Between the clusters of buildings at the end of the alley is the sea, where you can vaguely see ships passing by in the distance, and the nearshore life is within reach.
Every old city has its stories, every old street has its future.

Encounter with Beihai
Visiting Beihai after the Mid-Autumn Festival, the north has already felt the chill of autumn, while it is still scorchingly hot in Guangxi. It was here that I truly found the essence of my trip to Guangxi.

.
🦑Food Sharing
1⃣️Grandma's Coconut Chicken: Celebrity-style coconut chicken, tender chicken with secret sauce is even tastier
2⃣️Wang Sister Seafood (Qiaogang Store): Beihai's old-brand seafood, spicy crab and chicken are delicious, and they also have shrimp peeling service comparable to Haidilao
3⃣️Qiongda Zaocu Vinegar Traditional Hotpot: Sanya's special sweet and sour hotpot, delicious for seafood, appetizing and spicy

Beihai, the dazzling pearl of the South China Sea
🧳Pre-trip preparation: In Beihai, enjoy the caress of the sea breeze and the softness of the Silver Beach, but comparatively speaking, Beihai is still quite hot, and the ultraviolet rays are quite strong, so everyone should pay attention to sun protection.
🚉Travel tips: You can choose high-speed train or self-driving
🏨Hotel environment: The room was booked in advance on Ctrip, and the environment is good. We did not choose to stay by the sea, but in the city center, which is convenient for experiencing the local life at night.
🍽Dining recommendations: Beihai big bowl seafood noodles, pig's trotters noodles, shrimp cakes, etc. are all highly recommended.
🗓Our itinerary:
1. Beihai Silver Beach: The sea is azure and clear, the sand is soft and white, great for taking photos and playing, but the storage lockers are really expensive.
2. Beihai Old Street: A variety of delicious foods, the streets are quaint and charming, giving off a feeling like in the movies.
3. Overseas Chinese Town Style Street: A gathering place for food, with various snacks, food stalls, and a dazzling array of choices.
4. Beihai Underwater World: We booked tickets online in advance. On the way there by taxi, the local driver warned us it's not very interesting (maybe they are used to it), but personally, I had a good experience, and the kids loved it. There are also shows inside, which you can consider.
🌟Note: If you need to take a taxi, please reserve enough time in advance (we were stuck in a traffic jam near the Old Street when trying to get to the high-speed train station, and we almost missed our train)
Overseas Chinese Town Style Street Beihai Silver Beach Resort Beihai Old Street
Unique and charming Beihai City, with a slow and charming rhythm, the fiftieth day of self-driving around China
On May 3, 2023, the fiftieth day of self-driving around China, from Lianjiang, Guangdong to Beihai, Guangxi. After resting in Lianjiang for three days, we perfectly avoided the May Day holiday and saved a lot of money, secretly pleased.
Beihai Silver Beach, a must-visit place in Beihai, has a wide beach and fine, soft and white sand. It is known as the first beach in China and is suitable for swimming for about 9 months each year. Walking on the beach just after the tide has receded, even footprints will not be left, only the delicate white sand is shining in the sun. Another feature of Beihai Silver Beach is its length, about 24 kilometers long, such a long beach is rare in the world. The Beihai Silver Beach Scenic Area seen by tourists is just a part of the entire Silver Beach. The landmark building of the Silver Beach is called 'Tide', which is a large sphere and also the first music fountain in Asia. The sea is like this, full of magic, making people yearn for it.
Beihai Old Street was built in 1883. It is a nearly two hundred-year-old street, 1.44 kilometers long and 9 meters wide. The buildings on both sides of the street are unique arcade-style buildings. There are both Chinese-style flying eaves and Western-style carved window lattices, combining Chinese and Western styles. It witnessed the prosperity of Beihai in the past, and now it has become a commercial street. There are pharmacies, wine shops, tea houses, etc. on the street, and you can also taste local delicacies such as spicy snails, shrimp cakes, and pig's feet powder.
Beihai Overseas Chinese Harbor Style Street is the most popular snack street, mainly featuring Beihai and Vietnamese snacks. There are not many tourists who check in to the Overseas Chinese Harbor Style Street during the day. Starting from dusk, the flow of people gradually increases. At meal times, the street is crowded with people. Some internet-famous shops have long queues. Even if you simply buy a shrimp cake, you may have to queue for 10 to 20 minutes. But a reminder, if you are not familiar with here, be careful to avoid pits.
The natural environment of Beihai is very beautiful, with fresh air and pure water quality, which is very suitable for various outdoor activities. It is a romantic city. The pace of life here is relatively slow, making people feel very comfortable and quiet.
Nanny-level guide to Beihai, Guangxi, without stepping on mines
📍Transportation: You can fly directly to Beihai from all over the place🛫, or you can first go to Nanning and then take the high-speed train to Beihai, which is more cost-effective🤑. In Beihai, you can call a car at any time🚗, if the distance is not far, renting a small electric car is also good, about 50 yuan a day, and you can bargain.
📍Accommodation: It is recommended to stay near Silver Beach or Qiaogang, which is convenient to go anywhere. We stayed in the Silver Beach villa area, the price is slightly expensive, but the scenery and facilities are super awesome! The hotel is Silver Beach and Shore Hotel, a few steps to the beach, and you can bargain offline! The hotel is fully equipped, first-class service, and there is an outdoor swimming pool, which is super beautiful for taking pictures📷!
📍Attractions:
1.🏖Silver Beach: Suitable for watching the sunset, the sand is fine and soft, the beach is clean, barefoot walking is very comfortable, but there are more people.
2.🌳Mangrove: A good place for sea catching, our group's double sea catching package🐾, with tools, and a professional guide. Northerners say the experience is good. Caught a lot of sand worms, shells, clams, and small crabs. I recommend the mangroves here. ⚠️You must wear rain boots for sea catching, the road to the beach is far, you need to wade, it is difficult to wear slippers! There are motorcycles on the return journey, 30 yuan one way, driving a motorcycle in the water is very exciting, worth experiencing!
3.🌆Qiaogang Style Street: There are so many delicious foods! Xinji shrimp cake, Cup Cup Le, Mom's coconut chicken, Zao paste vinegar century-old traditional hot pot, Yeji Man, Harbor Bay sugar water... all are very good. After dinner, you can go to Qiaogang Beach for a walk and watch the sunset. There are few people, the sand is good, and the photos are beautiful.
4.📸Liuxia Village: A good place for photo check-in, a small town in the style of Hayao Miyazaki, with many star-like photo locations.
5.🌊Beihai Old Street: A street where you can see the sea, suitable for photo check-in. However, the street-side shops are average, and the food is still better in Qiaogang.
6.🌳Mangrove Ecotourism Scenic Area: 90 yuan for a ticket, including 25 yuan for a 10-kilometer ferry car fee. There are mangroves in the scenic area, and there is a small village at the end. The ticket is not worth it, not recommended🙅.
7.🏝Jintan: The sand is coarser and the color is darker, you can catch the sea. If you want to take pictures or experience beach walking, Silver Beach is more recommended.
⚠️Remember to check the weather before coming, bring summer and winter clothes, it is cooler in the morning and evening, and the weather on the beach is changeable.

Qiaogang Style Street Beihai Golden Beach Beihai Old Street Beihai Silver Beach Tourist Resort
It's time to eat oysters, come here for a spin (Beihai Edition)
How many ways are there to eat oysters? Garlic, white boiled, charcoal grilled... Just thinking about it makes your mouth water! Now is the season when oysters are fat and juicy, and Qinzhou, the 'Big Oyster Town of China', is definitely worth a visit. However, since you are in the Beibu Gulf region, just one Qinzhou is not enough, why not take a 4-6 day self-drive tour, along the coastline to experience the colors of the three cities (Beihai, Qinzhou, Fangchenggang) in the Beibu Gulf that are completely different from the hinterland of Guangxi. From the colorful Wuhai Beach to the old streets in black and white film, you can enjoy a slow-paced life, or dive into the sea to explore the unknown world.
Most people in Beihai have vivid memories of the pyramid schemes and real estate bubbles here, but Beihai, which has already awakened from these two nightmares, is welcoming the arrival of travelers with an unprecedented peaceful attitude.
Silver Beach is a rare high-quality bathing beach on the coastline of Guangxi and even the whole of China. The silver-white beach and clear sea water meet most people's expectations of the beach. The sand here is very fine and soft, and it feels great to step on it barefoot; the long beach is also gently sloping, making it suitable for swimming and walking.
Dusk is the most beautiful time on Silver Beach, the tide-smoothed sand is smooth as a mirror, perfectly reflecting every inch of changing sky light. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of tourists, go to the beach park a little to the west, where the coast is more suitable for strolling.
The old street is a clear mark of old Beihai. Zhuhai Road, which was built in 1883, was once the busiest commercial district in Beihai, later became a street mainly for residences, and is now a sightseeing pedestrian street. The shops that used to sell fishermen's supplies have turned into restaurants, bars, guesthouses, coffee shops and shops selling tourist souvenirs.
Unlike other extremely commercialized pedestrian streets in China, there are places here that locals also frequent, and you need a little patience to identify them. Although the various reliefs, window tops and plaques of each household have lost some of their age after several renovations, they are still worth stopping and watching carefully.
Guantouling is a good place for self-drivers to avoid the crowd on the west side of the city. There are fewer tourists here, and it is a holiday paradise for locals.
This is the highest point in Beihai, with lush vegetation on the mountain, you can drive to the top to overlook the sea; the South Village at the foot of the mountain is known as the 'First Village of Beihai', the coastal erosion area on the beach has the momentum of a 'small Weizhou Island', and the large seafood stalls outside the village, such as South Fishing Village, are often visited by local self-drivers.
· Seaside city, seafood is indispensable ·>The location of Waisha Island is very good, close to the sea and the city, and there are many large seafood restaurants, high quality and high price, not necessarily suitable for all travelers.
There are also many seafood stalls in the area of Qiaogang Style Street, and in recent years there have been many mid-priced, exquisite new-style restaurants, suitable for diners who have requirements for the dining atmosphere.
More economical seafood stalls are concentrated on Sanzhong Road, Guizhou Road North Section, but do not have expectations for the dining environment.
Another good way is to go to the seafood market to buy ingredients yourself, many hotels in Beihai offer cooking services for guests, and some roadside restaurants can also do it. The Civilized Market and Nanzhu Market in the city center, and the Qiaogang Market in Qiaogang, are all popular seafood markets favored by citizens. More advanced buyers will go directly to Waisha Pier, Qiaogang Pier, and Nanwan Pier to buy, with fresh catches in the early morning and bargain prices at night.
For Harry Potter lovers! Located in O2PARK (海珠区-工业大道南882号) Nice atmosphere there, I like the design. Food is ok. Stakes, spaghetti and rice. There is also coffee and cakes. So it’s more not for food, but for outstanding atmosphere 🧙
Beihai Old Street
I love how Chinese people take something ancient and add some fluorescent lighting. This Old Town is mostly one long street with street food stalls, little restaurants and shops. It is a good place to try some of the local dishes and the buildings have been kept in tact.
Strolling over the old city of Beihai
In addition to the seaside style, the most famous attraction in the North Sea is the 100-year-old Beihai Arcade. Walking into this narrow and long old street, the first feeling is "broken", mottled walls, abandoned old houses can be seen everywhere, but it seems to be broken and undefeated, all kinds of small shops full of vitality Rooted and continued, the story of the next hundred years...
It is very convenient to take a taxi from any location in Beihai to the old street. The straight long street can be walked all the way, there are many snack bars on the road.
Beihai Old Street is a street with a hundred years of history. The roads are lined with buildings on both sides. The carvings are exquisite, the lines are smooth, and the mottled walls seem to tell the vicissitudes of the past 100 years. It was once the most prosperous neighborhood in the North Sea.
Whether it is a FIT or a tour group, every visitor does not seem to miss the sight of Old Street. It is like a city sign in the North Sea, attracting many tourists to visit. You don't need to buy tickets to avoid the group tourists. It is recommended to come here every morning and evening, and you can listen to the old street quietly.
There are still many Aboriginal people living on this street. Their lives don't seem to be disturbed by the arrival of tourists. The old people who are swaying on the loungers, singing together, eating, chatting, playing cards Residents, etc., these can be the theme in the lens of photography enthusiasts, tourists regard them as scenery, they regard tourists as passengers.
Because the Vietnamese port in Beihai is close, so you can buy many Vietnamese specialties on this street. The price is not cheap, but it is also a good choice as a gift.
There are a lot of things to eat on the old street. Here, you can eat a variety of local delicacies such as spicy snails, shrimp cakes, pork feet and so on. Fortunately, there are not many shops lined up, the only Li Aunt shrimp cake. It was a long queue. Shrimp cake is one of the specialty snacks of Beihai. The delicious shrimp is wrapped in flour, served with seasoning, and tumbling in hot oil. It is crispy and crispy. Shrimp cakes must be eaten when they are hot, and they feel a little greasy when they are cold. The old street is not long, you can go shopping and take pictures. You can get it in up to 2 hours.
The ancient street of Beihai Old Street has a history of hundreds of years. The buildings on both sides of the road are called arcades. The reliefs on the upper floors are particularly beautiful and the lines are very smooth. After the erosion of wind and rain, the color of the walls makes people feel the history. The vicissitudes. But it used to be the busiest and bustling street in the North Sea. Now its charm is still there, passing through the mottled, it still exudes its unique charm in the warm sunshine of the North Sea.
The weather is cold, but the North Sea is warm, and New Year's Day is very comfortable for a holiday here.
Beihai is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in China. It is an important starting port for the ancient Maritime Silk Road. It is also the favorite place to travel when it was a small time. At that time, a young and old family came together for the weekend, old street, silver. The pearls on the beach, the underwater world, and everywhere are the best memories of this place.
The first stop to Beihai is Beihai Old Street, an old street with a history of more than 100 years. It was built in 1883 and is 1.44 kilometers long and 9 meters wide. The streets are full of Chinese-Western architecture. Most of these buildings are two to three stories. They are mainly influenced by Western scroll-style buildings such as the consulates built by Ye Ying, France, Germany and other countries in the late 19th century. Now they have been transformed into gourmet shops, snacks and coffee shops. Wait, wandering in the mottled streets, very feeling.
The next step is to go to the famous Beihai Silver Beach. Beihai Yintan is a must-see for everyone to visit the North Sea. The beaches of Yintan are wide and the sand is soft and white. Because of the gentle terrain, the seawater here is fast and the tide is slow, so the swimming safety factor is very high, and the tide has just receded. Strolling on the flat and wide beaches, even the footprints will not stay, only the delicate white sand is shining in the sun. This is the most desirable travel destination in my childhood. The happiest thing is to come here for an afternoon with a small bucket of shovel.
I like this romantic plant growing in the warm weather of the South. If the princess lived upstairs, then the prince must have climbed it up in the middle of the night. It seems that this old building feels very much in history, and I really like the small balcony on the second floor and the third floor, which is full of romance.
