Quzhou Day Trip Nanny-Level Guide! I absolutely love this hidden gem of a city
Quzhou Day Trip Nanny-Level Guide! I absolutely love this hidden gem of a city❤️|||I heard that Quzhou is the only city in Zhejiang that loves spicy food, and as someone who can't live without spice, I've always wanted to go!! And it didn't disappoint, it's both delicious and fun!!
The 🚄 from Hangzhou to Quzhou leaves at around nine in the morning and takes an hour and a half. There's only one train station in Quzhou, which is Quzhou Station. Once you arrive, you can head straight to Songyuan Food Market, where there are plenty of snacks and the fruit is cheap. But if there's a long queue, there's no need to go out as many places are tasty. I recommend the duck heads and egg burgers inside, as well as the small wontons.
➡️Then you can walk or scan a bike to the Dananmen City Wall, just over a kilometer away, very close. On the way, there's a Crystal Cake Girl where you can buy a cup of crystal cake, and continue walking to find Master Yang's baked pancakes, which are delicious😋 Inside the Dananmen City Wall is just an ordinary commercial street, not worth browsing.
➡️After visiting Dananmen, head to Mazhandi Food Street, just a few hundred meters away. Here you'll find Old Pei Duck Head, Little Old Wang, and other popular stores. The food is delicious, but there's no need to wait too long. Old Pei has other branches elsewhere. There's also Yili Zhi which is quite tasty but not recommended🍗 as it's a bit dry.
➡️Walking forward from Mazhandi leads to Fushan Park, Confucian Academy, Quzhou Museum, and Confucius Temple, all together. Visit whichever you like. The museum requires a reservation for tickets, and the Confucius Temple charges for entry🎫 The ticket is a small book of Analects, but it's generally interesting for those who are into Confucian literature.
➡️Next, go to the neighboring North Gate Street historical district, an old street with a stage, bell tower, snack street, and an antique vibe that's great for photos.
➡️Crossing North Gate Street, you reach Shuiting Gate. Underneath the Heavenly King Tower, there's a digital exhibition hall that's pretty cool if you're interested, but it requires a ticket. The food street is full of old shops, and you can't go wrong with any of them. The clock background is a popular spot for social media check-ins on the city wall.
➡️Across the water from Shuiting Gate is the Luming Prairie. It's about a 2-kilometer walk or you can scan a bike or electric scooter to get there. The yellow electric scooters require a fixed parking spot, so make sure to look for a parking spot in advance, otherwise, you can't stop. Inside the prairie, you can see deer at the deer house🦌 The prairie is really beautiful, and it's so comfortable to lie down, sleep, and watch the sky.
➡️Opposite the prairie is the Red House, Quzhou Church, which is very photogenic, and you can go up to the rooftop to see the panoramic view.
➡️In the evening, you can ride back to Shuiting Gate for dinner and enjoy the night view, or there's a Wuyue Plaza more than a kilometer away from the prairie, with a lot of food options, including Old Pei Duck Head chain store, and Dalao Coarse Quzhou Cuisine which is very tasty😋 After dinner, you can take a taxi to Quzhou Station and head home!

Quzhou in Zhejiang, a severely underrated treasure of a tourist city
When it comes to Quzhou, what comes to mind is the city that can eat the spiciest food in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, but little do people know that Quzhou, also known as 'the Southeastern Portal and the Holy Land of Confucius in the South,' is also the most polite historical city in Zhejiang!
This place is not along the coast, but it is the intersection of four provinces, creating its unique cultural heritage. With mountains and waters, and cultural ancient towns, it is a place that Xu Xiake had to visit three times~ I regret not discovering this treasure city on the edge of the south of the Yangtze River earlier! I have organized a two-day and one-night travel itinerary

DAY1: Jianglang Mountain - Nianbadu - Xiaronshan Village
DAY2: Root Palace Buddha Country - Xiayu Village - Shuiting Street - Tianwang Tower - Quzhou Confucius Temple
🏠Accommodation: Xipo·Jiangshan Holiday Homestay
🚗Transportation Advice: Self-driving is more convenient, 3h from Hangzhou. Or take the high-speed train to Quzhou Station/Jiangshan Station, then rent a car.
⚠️Most scenic spots in Quzhou are free from Monday to Friday, and you can make a reservation on the spot.

📸Attractions Introduction
1⃣Jianglang Mountain
Known as 'the first strange peak of Danxia in the country,' come here to experience the one-line sky and feel the wonder of nature's craftsmanship.
2⃣Nianbadu
The 'Nianba Shop' in Jin Yong's writings, located deep in the Xianxia Mountain Range of Jiangshan, Quzhou, National Geographic calls this place 'a dream lost in the mountains.'
3⃣Xiaronshan Village
A traditional ancient village located on thousands of acres of terraced fields, after the entire village relocated, the old houses were transformed into the current 'Xipo·Jiangshan Holiday Homestay.' Streams flow through the village, and after the rain, clouds and mist linger, like a fairyland.
4⃣Root Palace Buddha Country
The largest root carving museum in the world, the root carving works are very shocking, and the architecture of the park is also grand and majestic.
5⃣Xiayu Village
One of the top ten beautiful villages in China, drive along Majin Creek from here, and the scenery along the way is very beautiful.
6⃣Shuiting Gate
Climbing up to Shuiting Gate, you can overlook the whole view of the old street, and you can also take a picture of the church and Tianwang Tower in the same frame.
7⃣Quzhou Confucius Temple
There are more than 2,000 Confucius temples in the world, but there are only two Confucius family temples, one is Confucius' hometown in Qufu, Shandong, and the other is in Quzhou, known as 'the Southern School.' The ticket here is a mini version of the Analects, worth collecting.

🧳Travel tips
Of course, you will bring heavier clothes and luggage when you go out in winter, so take the newly bought 24-inch American Tourister diagonal luggage for this trip~
It starts with appearance, the diagonal design on the surface of the box is very special, and it is also highly recognizable, the middle diagonal collision color strip has given four color options 'black white yellow green,' change it as you like~
Loyal to quality, the wheels are smooth, stable, and quiet! Even on the stone roads of Quzhou's ancient town, it's all green lights, no bumps! Don't worry about having too much luggage✌🏻
