Motels in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

It's really good to be able to live in such a remote place! The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the location was easy to find on the side of the road. There are almost no meals near the hotel, and there is a sober soup that is not bad.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Hirasawa Station. The Japanese-style hotel rooms are spacious, new, and clean. There are also many restaurants nearby. Hot water and coffee are available in the lobby downstairs.

I stayed for 5 nights. It was easy to get around Seoul since Moran Station, which is close by, has both Line 8 and the Bundang-Suin Line. Food was also easily taken care of with a market and a food street nearby. The hotel itself was clean for the price, and the bathroom and TV facilities (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) were all in good working order. The most impressive thing was how incredibly kind the person at the front desk was. Even though I was just a transient guest, they answered my questions thoughtfully and genuinely helped resolve any issues, for which I'm very grateful.

카운터 직원 분이신지 사장님이신지 응대도 좋고 친절 하셨습니다. 호텔도 다른건 다 맘에 들었는데요. 처음 들어간 방이 들어가자마자 담배냄새가 확 나더라고요. 그래서 바로 방을 바꿔달라고 했습니다. 바꾼방은 처음에는 담배냄새가 안났는데, 환풍기 등을 통해 다른 방에서 옮겨오는 건지, 담배냄새에 쩐 가구가 있는건지 창문열어놔도 몇시간 후에는 어지러워서 못있겠더라고요. 이미 몇시간 있었는데 방 바꾸긴 미안해서 그냥 호텔 옮겨서 잤습니다. 그것 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 카운터 응대가 좋아서 방 바꿔달라면 바꿔 줬을거 같긴해요. 여튼 그거 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 조식도 간단히 주는거 같고 세탁도 무료더라고요. 24시간 옥상개방 건조도 되는듯하고 주차공간도 좋습니다. 방도 티비 무지 큽니다.

The hotel is located on the 8 Floor of a commercial building. It is just a minute or two away from Juyeop station exit 7. It is also near the airport bus stop for no 3300. The location is very convenient as there is a huge Daiso and GS25 and many other restaurants. You can also walk across to Juyeop park where I was fortunate to see cherry blossoms. The park is popular with old folks exercising and there are cafes, restaurants and shops like Olive Young, Compose Coffee, convenience stores as well as Isaac Toast. The room we got is spacious and clean. Basic amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, room slippers, hair dryer and bath robes are provided. The shower is in the same space as the sink and heated/electric toilet bowl. So the floor does get wet but they provide bathroom slippers. Whilst there is no kettle in the room, there is a common area where you can get hot water, coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits. There is a mini fridge in the room. Do note the room does not have windows that can be opened, so there is no sunlight from outside, which is a minus. Service is good & friendly and they use translation app to communicate. The area is not noisy and not busy, which is great as well.

Traveling solo, it was perfectly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were very attentive and kind. With a Line 3 station nearby, and convenience stores and eateries around the hotel, I had everything I needed.

The decor was sleek, though a bit minimal, but it felt cozy and perfect for a short stay. The hotel is located in a quiet area, making it ideal for those who want a peaceful environment away from the hustle of central Seoul. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, and it's easy to get around with public transport. The only downside was the noise from neighboring rooms, which could be heard at times, but it wasn't a major issue. Almost good, but the toilet seems to have not been cleaned. There are feces stains on the edge of the toilet. The towels are very stained. The room does not keep much sound, as usual accommodation in Korea. Overall, it is good if you don't find toilet stains. Normally spacious room

It’s quite hard to find a hotel within my budget and with a bathtub around the Uijeongbu area. I booked this hotel because of some positive reviews, the availability of a bathtub, nearby restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a check-in time that isn’t too late (some hotels only allow check-in at 9 p.m.). I arrived early (9 a.m.) and planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing, but it was extremely cold and I was very sleepy, as I couldn’t sleep on the plane. The receptionists agreed to an early check-in for a fee (half the nightly rate). Upon check-in, they provided a personal kit (toothbrush, assorted creams, comb, razor, etc.). The room has a big TV, four speakers, a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, air purifier, air conditioning, and more (see photos). The heater works very well too. Instant coffee, tea, a coffee machine, and a microwave are available on the first floor and the 11th floor (rooftop), which also has tables and a laundry area. On every floor, just outside the rooms, there is a microwave and shared utensils for guests to use. The LRT station is only a five-minute walk away. For the price, it’s worth it if you’re okay with a late check-in.

The area around can be incredibly noisy, especially at night time, even up until 5 AM. If you're like me and like having the window open while sleeping, prepare to be waken up regularly by loud cars who think they are on the damn Nürburgring or people who like to yell/scream their lungs out at night for no reason. Pretty standard 40 bucks ish hotel for Korea.
